Bad Idea
I just downed a whole pint of eggnog in about the span of two hours.
I don't feel very well right now.
Why would I down so much eggnog, you ask?
because the Christmas season is pretty much over and it will be the last egg nog I will eat in a whole year! It's my last chance! It's totally worth the sacrifice of over 800 calories in one beverage!
...or something.
I think it's going to be closer to two years until I drink egg nog again if I make it through this.

While saying family prayers last night...
Ryan: "...We're grateful to have such large family members...
...uh... er...such a large-- amount of family members living close by to us..."
Don't worry family, I don't think he meant it.

Christmas Eve
We went to JaNel's for Christmas Eve, and it was really a lot of fun. It was good to see some family members we hadn't in a while. We got there and **SURPRISE!** we made pretzels. I say SURPRISE! because on JaNel's email she said that most of the evening would be a surprise, and that was the surprise. Her email also said this as the plan:
5:00 Dinner (see assignments below)
7:00 Fun and games
8:00 Read Christmas story, Night Before Christmas, Family Prayer
8:30 Open one present
9:00 Bed for kids
10:00 Movie for Adults
And the evening went pretty much as that schedule says. JaNel even had the schedule up on their chalkboard, AND one for Christmas day too.
We ate yummy cheesy potato soup with our pretzels. Played Charades for the game. Read Luke 2, Ryan prayed, the kids opened a present, and then we wrestled all the kiddos into bed. Then we topped it all off with "The Christmas Carol" (the George C. Scott one.) It was a lot of fun, and I forgot my purse, so on Christmas day we stopped by again and got to play a little bit of "Buzzwords" with JaNel, Grandma Carol, Grandpa, VeNicia, VoNique, and Jared. That was the first time I'd played that game (and I think for everyone too) it's a fun one!
Sorry, no pictures, I left my camera at home. :(

Sylarish?
I got Ryan a new electric razor for Christmas, and while I was in the razor isle, I noticed one of those small pencil shaped ones for your nose hair and eyebrows and stuff. So I got one of those too. I had no idea how'd Ryan take to that little razor thing! That was the first thing he did after opening all our gifts, was trim his eyebrows. Which is good, cuz Ryan's do kind of get a little rambunctious now an then. After trimming them he asked if he looked "Sylarish" enough for me. Sylar is the bad guy on the T.V. show Heroes, who has quite the eyebrows of his own. And he's always staring people down through his eyebrows (see the picture above). I don't know if it's only this season, or if they've always been like that, but Sylar's eyebrows seem to be impecably trim and shapely. I can just see them on set, "cut! One of his eye brown hairs is poking out--makeup!"* My sister and I make fun of his perfect eyebrows all the time while watching the show. (Probably just as a coping mechanism for the fact that his character is freaking scary! He creeps me out almost enough to cause nightmares.) I have to admit though, I find Sylar attractive sometimes. Maybe I have a subconscious thing for men with an over abundance of eyebrows.*after which Milo and Hayden** would probably finally find a moment to start making out all over each other. Cuz they're dating in real life. On set Milo's character is supposed to be Hayden's character's uncle, but they're chemistry is obvious in every scene they have together. Before it was revealed in the first season that Peter (Milo) was Claire's (Hayden) uncle, Ry and I would always make commentary while watching. Adding in after their lines things like, "so why don't we just make out instead?" or "because I want to do you."
however, I don't feel the same about another off and on screen romance--that of Vanessa Hudgens and Zack Efron.*** I saw High School Musical 3, and there was no heat. (anyone seen that Friends episode?) I was like, come on! you're freaking dating in real life, how come you just look cheesy on camera?
**Don't you love how I use just their first names, like we're totally friends or something?
***Notice, I used last names here. I don't really feel as aquainted with these two. Although if I were a younger and unmarried woman, I wouldn't mind getting better aquainted with one of them... :)
Snow!
look at all this snow!!!
That's my car on the left. and look, the snow isn't even cleared all the way off the road.
Here's the walkway back to our apartment. Ryan, are you sure you're not wanting to cover that scoot already?
look how high the snow is! It's almost as high as my boot! Cute boots huh? Ry got them for me for christmas.

I love the snow! I want to do this like this dog:

Christmas Party Marathon
Our marathon of Christmas parties started with the Relief Society Christmas Party that I was on the committee for. It was a dinner and the program was all about Christmas carols and Christmas music. I was in charge of a part of the program, and I also ended up helping in the kitchen with the food as well. I presented on The First Noel, and then Ryan (who was graciously tending a nursery full of about 20 kids) and I played a piano duet of an arrangement of the song. It turned out really well, and I had a lot of fun. We have some really fun women in our ward.
Next, on Friday 12/19/08, we went with Mary and Vince to their work Christmas Party. All the employees could bring guests, although most bring their spouses. Since Mary and Vince both work for the same company though, they brought Ryan and I. It was fun, with lots of good food, and we got to meet some of the people Mary and Vince work for/with. Thanks Mary and Vince for bringing us along!
Then Saturday night (12/20/08) was our annual Scrooge night at my parent's house. We've always watched the movie Scrooge every year, but last year my parents turned it into an interactive watching of Scrooge. You sing along with all the songs (Scrooge is a musical), eat soup, when Ebenezer does, play the same game that they do in the movie, drink "The Milk of Human Kindness", etc. etc. It's a fun twist on just sitting and watching it.
On Sunday(12/21/08) it was the McAllister Family Christmas party. (Which is also the only one I brought my camera to.) We ate food and opened our party poppers so we could wear our tissue paper crowns. (it's a tradition in Great Brittan. Don't believe me? Go watch About a Boy.)

Then we all opened our presents from our grandparents and this year we had a cousin gift exchange too.
Ryan got tools from Grandma and Granpa.
all the girls in the family got a box with an oyster in a can, and a necklace to put your pearl in. The pearl's color was kind of a fortune. I got a purple pearl for wealth!
We finished off playing The Ministers Cat and Catch Phrase. It was fun to get people to actually play games this year. That's something I've always liked about Ryan's family is they ALWAYS play games--all night long practically.
Monday(12/22/08) was the Dearden family Christmas party. Ry and I got there a little late, because it started at 6:30, and Ry gets off work at 6. We had fun eating and socializing with all our cousins. Or at least I did. I think Ry spent the whole time playing Super Smash Brothers on the Wii with my little cousins. But I supposed that's still socializing with them in a way, right? We sang Christmas music and opened gifts and then called it a night!
Today I thought I was working a shift from 11 am to 11 pm, but when I got to work, it turns out it was only a 5-11pm shift! oops! oh well, at least now I can get my blog posts up and then clean my house for christmas.
Christmas Eve will be spent at Ryan's aunt JaNel's with a bunch of his family. It should be lots of fun, with games gallore! can't wait! I unfortunately have to work Christmas day from 1-7pm, So the partying will end that night at Grandma Hibbies.
Whew! that's a lot of partying!

Last day of clinical
I stole this picture off of Nina's blog. It's at Rumbis on our last day of clinical.
from left to right: Lindy, Me, Selina, Christie, Julie, Rick (our instructor), Nina, Rachel, Chanel, Marcie. (we're missing only one girl: Angie)
The four girls across the back are the Salt Lake girls that I carpool with. We've all become really good friends.
It was a good time at clinical this last semester. I was glad to get to know some of my classmates better. They're all some really fun and incredibly intelligent girls.

Won't Ryan be the cutest daddy? These two are too freaking cute.

(He's holding Bridget, our niece.)
Oh, and congrats to my cousin Sara and her husband, Keith who had their baby girl Kate today.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree
Starting yesterday, we have a marathon of Christmas parties every night until the 22nd. So I don't want to get behind in my blogging, because then I get lazy. I better start by posting the purchasing and decorating of this year's Christmas tree.
This is the one!

Time to make it pretty!
Me and my blingin' garland.
This branch was sticking out away from the rest of the tree on the bottom. I wanted to cut it off, but Ryan insisted that we hang an ornament on it, and called it "the Charlie Brown Branch"
Ryan putting his train around the bottom of the tree.

Ta da! All done! Isn't it sweet?
Here's how it looks a week later:
Ryan and I have made out like bandits this year! Which is a lot like regular making out, but you wear all black and ski masks. ha ha! just kidding. I mean we got lots of presents under there.
After having it already for a week, I've realized again how hard it is to water a live tree. especially one that is stuffed in a corner like ours is. I hope our presents are all water proof! :)

Grades
I got my grades today. Looks like my hard work and lack of life have paid off:
Nursing 1010-Fundamentals of Nursing: A-
Nursing 1012-Pharmacological Nursing: A
Nursing 1011-Nursing Care of the Mental Health Patient: A
Ta da! straight A's! The Pharmacology A is the biggest shock ever! That class was freaking hard. Maybe I should have gone to Pharmacy school after all.
The mental health class was easier than the rest, with only in-class quizzes instead of exams. It was a fun class though, even when I'm not really the psych-nursing type. I learned a lot about what mentally ill people are like and what they have to deal with. It gave me a lot of sympathy for people I know to dealing with them. I mostly learned that it's out of their hands. They really can't just snap out of it. It also made me realize how much you can really mess up your kids.
Next semester we do OB and Pediatrics, along with regular adult Med/Surg. It should be fun. My clinicals will be at Mckay-Dee too, so it will be interesting to be in an IHC facility. Aunt Sue says the nurses are vicious at Mckay, so we'll have to see if that is true. I just don't understand being mean to nursing students. Uh, hey--you were one once, did you like being abused? Unfortunately it's not a rare occurance.
well, only 1 more semester left and I'll be a nurse! A Licensed Practical Nurse that is, 3 more semesters to Registered Nurse. But I can work as a nurse with an LPN, so I'm pretty freaking excited about that. And when people ask what I do, I can say, "I'm a nurse" So COOl!

oops
With a snoopy husband like Ryan, it's important to have good hiding places for all his christmas presents...
...as long as you remember where you put them.
...as long as you remember where you put them.
DONE!!!!
It's over! it's all over! I have two weeks off with nothing hanging over my head to be studied. What a relief! (although two weeks is hardly a long enough break, but whatever.) I just took my last final today and I'm happy to report that I got 90% on both my final exams for the semester! Weird that it was the exact same score on them both. I'm really hoping that the 90's on the finals makes it so I keep my straight A's from midterm. That would really be a christmas miracle! to get straight A's for my final grades of the semester for the first time in my life! and they'd even be in the hardest classes I've ever taken in my life! I'll find out tomorrow what my grades are. Well, I'm off to go do absolutely nothing school related! hope your day is as good as mine, but somehow I don't think you can beat a day like today, cuz I just got my life back!

Xela chior at Temple Square
On Wednesday, Laura performed with her high school show choir, Xela (same one I was in!) in the Temple Square visitors center. It was a good performance. Her year's Xela is definitely better than mine was. Phenix (yes it's spelled like that), the all-boys choir, and Chamber, the co-ed choir performed as well. Seeing choirs perform during christmas time is one of my favorite things to do. Mikey and Brenna were there with their adorable Bridget, and my Dad came too. I love the holidays!
The lighting was hard. With the flash I got this:

Then no flash it's fuzzy, like this:
But you get the idea.
She's so adorable! I just want to eat her up! (Bridget on Ryan's lap)
After the performance, we walked around for just a little bit, then our tummies started growling too much and we headed to crown burger. Yum!
They put the Mary and Joseph and Jesus in the middle of the reflection pond this year, which makes for a pretty cool effect.
This is Rachael, who is properly positioned for a broken hip.

Sophie's Birthday and Utah Symphony
Last Saturday, Ry and I went to Sophie Morrow's 1st birthday party. (daughter of my friend Cari from highschool) we stopped off at Walmart before going, to find a gift and I realized it's been since I was playing with toys that I've been in a toy section of a store. There are so many cool toys now a days! and even some toys still around that I loved as a kid.
We met up with Mary and Vince and headed up to Layton. It was a fun party. Cari made a mean game that was totally rigged for Sophie's grandma to win. We had to match Sophie's developmental achievements to how many months old she was when she achieved them. I tried to remember all I could from my Lifespan Development class, but I failed horribly. It was fun anyway. There was also cake and pizza, and the Morrows freaking adorable little girl to keep us all entertained.
Sophie opening our gift--a xylophone!

Sophie really didn't know what to do with this weird hat and everyone looking at her.
but she sure figured out what to do with her cake!
After returning home from the party, we got ready to go to the Utah Symphony. (Ryan tried on like 5 different outfits. He has a hard time finding middle ground between dressed up and casual. I suppose you call that business casual?) Did you know that if you are a student you get symphony tickets for $8? any ticket, in any seat! I know! it was awesome. We took trax there, and the train was a bit behind, so we got there just in time to shuffle in at the 5 minute call. The first piece was pretty good, not amazing. I really enjoyed the next one which was by Debussy, I love him. Then the last half was Mozart's Requiem. It's very cool. Although, I have to admit, I have a hard time with things that are in languages I don't understand. One or two songs are fun, but after that I get distracted by other things. Like shiny chandeliers and sleep deprivation. I did learn that Ryan really likes Opera though. I like opera, but I'd rather an instrumental piece any day. Ry seems to be the opposite. I think he liked the Requiem more than I because of it.
On the trax train on the way there:

Told you the chandeliers were shiny.
Waiting for the show about to start
We got both our tickets for student price even though I'm the only student, and I'm not positive, but I can probably get more than one other one for only $8. So if you're a fan of the symphony and want to double with us, let us know! I'm always up for it.
After the symphony we ran across the street to JB's where they don't serve eggs benedict after 1 pm. (hmph...whatever.) They also seem to have a policy of wearing your pants too tight. Either that, or there's a lot of employees trying to advertise JB's muffins by emulating them. ooh, sorry, was that too rude?

A note to an old friend
Dear Exer Cise,
It's been so long since we've been together. How are you? I miss you. I miss the stitch in my chest I used to get with you. I miss getting all pumped up to see you. I even miss sweating around you. I miss our other old friend too, you know, Sizesix Pants? Yeah, she was fun. And old what's-her-name, Bee Kini. Yeah, we had some good times together the four of us. I just wanted to let you know that I still think of you guys often, and I look forward to the end of nursing school so we can renew our relationship.
All my love,
Ashley

And the winner is...

VoNique!
with her guess of 22 bananas.
There were 27, that's right 27 bananas in our freezer. (shown to the left) Five of them were pretty gross and withered and freezer burned. I used 7 more to make two loaves of bread. We ate them both in 5 days!
I thought I'd share my recipe. (don't worry Vo, I'll make one for you. The point was to get rid of my own bananas, not make you make one yourself.)
ingredients:
3 or 4 ripe bananas, smashed
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar (can easily reduce to 3/4 cup)
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
nuts (optional)
First you peel a slit down the thawed frozen banana, and squish it out. This part makes me laugh, cuz they look like yellow poops.

The nice thing about bananas that were frozen is that you don't have to mash them. Just blend them up with your mixer. Then add melted butter, and mix

Add the sugar, eggs and vanilla and mix.

Add soda and salt, mix. Add flour, and mix. I used bread flour, but that's cuz I have a ginormous bag of it, and no "all purpose" flour.

I use my fingers to spread shortening or butter on the loaf pan, then add a tablespoon or so of flour and tap it around so it sticks to the butter/shortening.
Add batter to the loaf pan (or pans, if you've doubled the recipe like me). Keep reader's digest nearby for some light reading in case you get bored.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 50-60 minutes. and voila!

I also thought I'd tell you that Ryan's butt fits perfectly in the notch in my lower back when we stand back to back. It's like a butt puzzle!

Bobby Mcferrin Resurrected!

Today Ryan was looking through a magazine they send to U alumni, and suddenly asked me, "Isn't Bobby Mcferrin dead?"
"yeah, he commited suicide."
"Then how is he going to be in concert at Kingsbury Hall in March?"
"What?!"
Sure enough, back from the dead, Bobby Mcferrin is going to be performing at Kingsbury Hall and we totally have tickets! (this is a once in a lifetime opportunity! he's back from the dead! -Ryan)
Then I googled Bobby Mcferrin suicide and read that it was a myth. It says on Snopes.com
that he never commited suicide and has been composing and performing sololy (is that a word?) for years now. I also read that lots of happy go lucky people get this rumor spread about them too. Bobby Mcferrin wrote "Don't Worry, Be Happy". Other happy people who supposedly
committed suicide are: Mr. Rogers, Steve from Blues Clues, John Denver (uh, hello people, he died in a plane crash), and Jared, the Subway guy.
Did you also know that Bobby Mcferrin was working at the U of U as a piano accompanist to the modern dance dept. when he decided he wanted to be a singer? and his first vocal gig was in the Salt Lake Hilton? Cool huh?
I added a music playlist to our blog so that you can freak out at his amazing vocal talent like I do when I hear him sing! It's insanity!!!! Especially listen to "Blackbird" that is all his own voice. he's the only one singing. crazy I know.

Gone Bananas
Did you know that you can save your nasty brown bananas by putting them in the freezer? Then you just thaw and make into banana bread!
I never knew this until a little while ago, and I decided to start saving my bananas cuz we always seem to have 2 or so left over.
Well, it's become a bit... of an issue. I can not throw bananas away. I just can't. I can't waste them. I get little shivers of joy in my heart when I save the last little brown withered fruit. "Don't worry banana, you will rise again as delicious bread! Hope is not lost!"
So..... I was trying to stuff one more batch of brown bananas into the freezer today and decided to see how many there really were in there. They seemed to be taking over.
Well, let's just say I'm a little embarrassed.
If you can guess (or be the closest to) how many bananas there were in my freezer, you win the prize of a loaf of scrumptious banana bread! Leave a comment to enter; the contest ends Monday 12/8/08.

Will you be my friend?
I've noticed recently that I don't know how to have girlfriends as an adult. I mean, in highschool you just go over and hangout and talk and listen to music. Now I feel pressured to have something planned and make it a date with our husbands, etc. Which is all fine and dandy with old friends. They've known me forever and I know what to do with them. But what about new friends? There's some girls in the ward and at school that I'd like to be friends with but I'm just at a loss of what I'm supposed to do. I feel like a shy 3rd grader twiddling their fingers and staring at the floor and saying, "wi-will you be my... friend?" cuz I'm not sure if they wanna be my friend too.
It's cuz they're girls. I learned how to handle those men-folk a while ago, and it's pretty obvious if they're interested, but how do I know if a girl wants to hangout outside of school or church or work? And do I have to plan something? or can I just tag along while you go grocery shopping or mop the floor? will they be annoyed if I call them during the day to just chat? I feel stupid on the phone if I don't have a reason for calling.
and what about the whole they-have-kids thing? I don't have any, but I like em, I will have some someday, I like your kids. I imagine stay at home mom's would like to have a good 'ol girl chat with someone who is potty trained, but are you gonna think I'm weird if I come to the park too?
I also don't think I'm one of those friends that people like to hangout just one on one with. I've noticed that people seldom call to hangout with just me. I like to pretend that it's cuz I'm where Da Party At and that people just flock to my presence, but then I come back to reality and realize that maybe i'm too much to handle on your own. and not the good "oh I'm too much for you to handle--holla yo!" kind of way. (said in my best gansta voice.) So how do I hangout with my old girlfriends-- who we can never find a time to all get together at once--to hangout just one on one? Would they be okay with just me? I'm much quieter with only one point of stimulation. promise. :)
I bring all this up because I've realized since socializing with more women at school that I LOVE girl talk, and I had no idea how much I missed it since becoming a live-with-my-parents-loner in college. I've pretty much only associated with men since like 2005, and I now live with one. Although Ryan makes a wonderful husband, he sure sucks at talking and laughing like a girl. It's also made me realize how much I miss my old girlfriends from highschool and college and how much fun we used to have. I'm pretty sure it's possible that we could have fun again, I just don't know how to initiate it.
(side note: I love how I just said college like it was Back When. When technically, I'm still in college. But I don't count nursing school as college. Nursing school is a dark wolf hidden under college's skin)
So anyway... if you are a girlfriend guru, I'd appreciate any pointers here, cuz obviously I'm girl retarded.

I know you're excited
Guess what? I have my own sign in name! I'm an official author of this blog! Now I can't hide my opinions and happenings behind The Green Team which is Ashley.
Some random thoughts
Well, today was my first day back at school after a week long break. It was nice to have the week off to rest and relax, and it was also very educational. I've learned that I have absolutely no idea what to do with myself when I don't have school or work or studying to do. Seriously for the first 2 days I just sat there and tried to rack my brain about things I could be doing right now. I also learned that I like to get up early. Sleeping in forever just made me feel more tired. I don't think I want to get up at 5:45 every morning like a do for school, but earlier than 9 would be better. Especially because I still go to bed at 10 or 10:30 every night. 12 hours of sleep makes me groggy all day.
Afro went outside today, all on his own. This is a big thing because ever since he got his abcess, he has been hesitant to go outside. He stops at the door when you open it and looks out and sniffs. Then he'll go all around the porch looking over the edge before deciding to finally go down the stairs. Ryan and I have decided that there is another or some other cats that have been fighting with him, and now he won't go outside. Afro is fixed, so he's not supposed to fight. But possibly the other cats are not. It makes me sad to see him unable to go out and play. I could never get him to stay inside before! What are we supposed to do? Go talk to the other cat's parents? I can't tell Afro how to deal with bullies, I don't speak cat. He seems to be making progress though, and has been spending more and more time outside.
Ry and I got to Kaysville for thanksgiving a little early, so we just went driving around looking at houses. We do that sometimes just to see prices of houses for sale in different areas. Ya know, do a little research. Well we found this one house that is pretty much perfect. Too bad we don't have the money yet, and can't afford it right now when it's actually on the market. It's the right size, the yard is huge, the area is nice, the street is not busy and it's close to necessities, and it's in the price range we're kind of looking at. In fact, I'm pretty in love with it. Anyone have $10,000 you wanna give us for the down payment? :) You can take a virtual tour here. Sigh...wish I was graduated already.

Thanksgiving and Diamond Fork Hotsprings
We went to Tom's for Thanksgiving this year. It was a good time. We stuffed ourselves silly and had a lot of fun chatting with family. We have a tradition with the Dearden family to go around the room and say one thing we're thankful for. I think that that is a really good Idea. It's nice to listen to everyone express their thankfullness (is that a word?) and it turns into sort of a mini testimony meeting. We don't often express ourselves as Deardens (in ways other than sarcasm) so it's nice to have a chance to share that with each other every-other-year on Thanksgiving.
After dinner we went to the movie "Bolt" with the McAlisters and some Deardens. We always go to a movie on Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving always feels like a Sunday to me, so I always feel like we're breaking the sabbath. "Bolt" was a fun movie that just made you want to love your pets even more.
After the movie, it was still too early to go home (even for Ry and me), so we went to my parent's house to play games. We played Rumikub with my mom and Jordan until we were bored of it, then perused the ads for Black Friday the next day. Ry and I didn't go, because we didn't see anything we just HAD to have at some killer deal that was worth it to deal with the crowds. And I think I will forever not go shoping on Black Friday after hearing about the Walmart employee that was trampled to death by the early morning crowds. and when the store announced it the death and tried to close the store the shoppers kept shopping or shouted angrily that they had waited in line since the day before. Uh did you hear that people? you freaking killed a man trying to be the first to get a big screen t.v. on sale! Killed a human being, for better viewing of the crap that's on television these days. Hope it was worth it.
We went instead to Diamond Fork Hotsprings. It was a lot of fun. It was Me, Ry, Jordan, Laura, and five of Laura's friends. It was a pretty hike even if everything is in hibernation mode right now. The soak was nice too. It was a bit more crowded that it's been on other trips up there, but not too bad to find a nice place to soak. Here's some pics of the day: (added by Ryan- aren't I a good person?)
She's too stinking cute.
Jordan and his poor finger he thought he could do without but then realized halfway through his accidental amputation he actually wanted to leave it on.
Laura's fun posse she brought along. I only know them as the Kaysville Krew (feel free to adopt this name, Loufa. :) ) and they were lots of fun. So energetic!
Laura: "Ryan, you're a nerd! My friends don't talk like that!"
Ashley built this rock fortress to guard against foes. Neat huh?
These fans are at the mouth of the canyon. They're sure neat spinning all slow. And HUGE!! I was imagining how big the airplane would be if its propellers were that size. Pretty sunset.
(Ashley talking again)
After the hike we stopped at JCW's for some delicious burgers and shakes. We were starving, and it was sooo good. It was a really good day. It's been a nice week to have off, as lazy as I was. I'm sad to be heading back to work this weekend and back to school on Monday. But I have only 2 weeks left and then I'm done for the semester! yay! Then two weeks off and we're back at it again.
Thanks to everyone who made this Thanksgiving a good one. I love the holidays! Bonus Afro picture!!!
