Zoo revisited.

Ok. These are shots that we have taken when we visited the zoo from 17/07/05 to 28/10/06, so its roughly more than a year.
I wish I have taken more shots. My, Ryan has grown up quite a bit, I didn't realise it till I put all the photos together.

How Ryan turn into a cat.

16th November, 2006. Today is Ryan's last day of school term in Julia Gabriel, and there is a Christmas party as well. The theme for the party is - Animals. Going on with the theme, Ryan wore his dashund cardigan, which I like it a lot. I think that he enjoy himself. What do u think? By the way, the girl in the fairy outfit is Allison, we will see her again in another entry.

Ryan's blog is up again

Okay. I have to admit that I have been guilty not updating this blog. I will just drop in some pictures and we will see where it goes from here.

Since Hong Kong, we have visited Beijing too, which we went with the whole family sometime in September. It was great fun, shopping everyday, the Great Wall of China, Forbidden Palace, etc... and yes, we manage to have Peking duck in Hyatt. We also went to My Humble House. Nice. Most of the time Ryan is sleeping on my chest, with the help of baby carrier, while Poh, Poh's Mum and my mum busy themselves shopping in Hong Qiao Market, ShiShui Jie Market and various places around Beijing. Mum also stock up on Korean DVD and Ryan's Mummy bought lots of educational DVDs for Ryan. Poh's Mum bought the most this time round. It's been tiring, but I think it brought the family closer which is good, hopefully we can do this trips annually for as long as our legs can carry us... I spoke to Ryan, and he is pretty cool with us going to Scotland. Till then.

Hong Kong

As promised, here's an entry on Hong Kong due many moons ago. I have no idea whether I can remember everything, so bear with me. We stayed in Langham Place Hotel, at Mongkok, which was really nice. Ryan loves the place, always keeping himself busy with objects on the ground, ie, mineral water bottles, plastic bags, newspaper, etc. We brought his favourite Miffy DVD to keep him entertain during meals, but he is not interested at all. Mummy is disappointed that he is not having his food during the first two days. Luckily, his appetite started picking up eventually, or we would have gone home early rather than extending our stay. I must say the Hong Kong was fun, and I think Ryan and mummy would agree. Lots to do, many things to buy, but we spend a great deal on eating and transport. Hey, we are on holiday so it's ok to binge. We went to Ladies Market, lots of things to buy again, but nothing caught our eye. Godma Doris brought us to Maxim's for dim sum, good...very crowded. We also went to G.O.D. Poh love it there, in fact we went to the shop thrice!! She bought lots there, we also went to Shenzhen, very busy shopping so no pics. Anyways, it was a great trip, couldn't wait to go there again. In fact, it would be nice if all holidays are like that. One more thing, when we went to Godma's place to stay, we alighted at the wrong stop, guess we were pretty excited...but we took a pic of the wrong lift lobby too. More pixs to follow...

Ryan's Mummy Birthday

It's 19th Feb, Sunday. Today's is Mummy's Birthday. We are celebrating it in Langham Place Hotel, Mongkok in Hong Kong.
Time flies, Ryan was just a month old then, and now 13 months old. We bought a chocolate cheesecake for Mummy, it taste rather strange, like wax, we suspect it came from the box. Anyway, Daddy will put up more pictures of our wonderful trip to Hong Kong later.

Daddy has been really slack

OK. I have to admit it. I've been slack. No buts, no excuses. But hey, one have to agree that there were the wonderful Chinese New Year holidays, me clearing my 2005 leave, and I do believe there was a Hari Raya holiday too, so yes, these times just add a bit of chaos to my life and also I kinda give myself a break. Anyway, we have celebrated Ryan's 1st Birthday at Faber Crest, which was a success. A huge thanks to all that have turn up. I will put up some shots ASAP, really. Went visiting family and friends during CNY, had a real good time. Ah Ma also played Blackjack for the first time, and she won all the time. Bought Mummy 'five matchsticks' for her birthday too, soon it will be her birthday this Sunday, for a change we might actually go somewhere...HK, Tokyo, Beijing, Bangkok, Bali? Dunno yet.

A Day at the Zoo

It's a public holiday. Nice cloudy day, good for going to the zoo.

We haven't been to the zoo for a while. This time, Ryan seem more interested with the animals than the last time, perhaps it's because he is almost a year old already. He loves the swing, squealing with delight when Mummy pushed him. We were surprised that he can fit pretty snugly, cos during the last visit he was too small. We visted the camels, sun bear and polar bears. BTW, the polar bears were huge, and Ryan saw them eating a live fish underwater. Sweet.

We didn't hang around the zoo long because, we have a lunch appt with the relatives at Ah Gor's place...

The Earliest Present 2005

Ryan got his earliest gift this Christmas from Godma Doris.

Mummy couldn't wait so Ryan helped Mummy to open his Christmas present,
on Christmas eve.
