soccer star
some of you may have read the post about mac's soccer season during the spring. to sum it up- he pretty much could have cared less about it. well, for some unknown reason this season was totally different. mac absolutely loved it! he scored at least two goals (one game he even got 6) at every game and was really starting to get the hang of dribbling. it was nice to see him get into it and it definitely made it much more fun to watch too :) we got there early so i let the boys play at the park for a bit. did you notice miles' attire? he insisted on wearing his "soccer" clothes too that day.
love this one! (some of you who grew up playing with me might notice the jersey #.......yep #4...same as me :)
ok, the teams are supposed to be for kids age 5 and under, but does this kid from the other team look like he's at least 8? he was an entire head and shoulders taller than anybody else out there!
poor miles wants to play sooooo bad. it's the hardest thing to make him sit patiently while his big brother gets to play :( notice the additional teammate in this one? i usually spend most of the game trying to keep miles off the field.
haha...i had to post this picture. if you notice mac is about to take a corner kick and this is my dad sitting next to the field. well mac, whom absolutely loves my dad, hurried and ran over to him, completely messed up his hair, and then ran back over in time to take the kick! it was the funniest thing!

storyteller
not sure exactly when and/or how, but this little man has turned into quite the storyteller lately...
-told the babysitter his dad was sick because he got shot
-told my mom that i said a bad word to miles
-told the neighbor girl that he had a baby monster living inside his belly
-told me we needed to get our garden ready.....we've never had a garden
-asked me if i remembered when there was a snake under his bed
i could go on and on here, but you get the point.
