January

We got to go on a trip to Utah to see Baby Annabeth.  Cody love the lion at the zoo.

Ryan and I went to Laugh Fest this year.  It was super fun.

I cut my hair.  This is the before picture.
The boys read books during breakfast one morning.  I mean, the actually read books.
The after the hair cut picture (I cut off like a foot)
 Cody loves baby Annabeth.

We went to Ikea and the kids thought it was super cool that my initials were on the furniture.
And, of course, eating lunch at Ikea (not as good as everyone says, but still fun).
 More zoo pics.

 Annabeth's blessing:
You know you had fun at the park when you walk home and your backside looks like this:
Cody and a few neighborhood kids swept people's porch for service.  It was so cute:

Ryan had to introduce the theme for primary at church on Superbowl Sunday.  He decided to introduce it in this way:

It's Finally Happened!

We have run out of space on our Blog. I wondered how long it would last and how much stuff we could get on there. After a four year run, it was bound to be soon.

So say goodbye to 2005 posts!

Hair Cut and Stuff

More pictures from swim lessons. Cody had to just sit on the side and play with toys. He did a pretty good job for the most part.
Brandon climbing down a pole to get rings:
Brandon Diving:

Kathleen treading water. She is a fantastic swimmer. Her teachers were amazed that she was only 6.

Kathleen has been wanting her hair cut short for a very long time. But I told her she had to wait until after her dance recital so I could still put it in a bun. Well, her recital is done, and off went the hair.

We live in a very conservative area of the country. So it shouldn't have come as a surprise to me when Kathleen came home upset that Barack Obama was elected president. She said that he was evil and proceeded to tell me why. We had a long talk about respect and how different people believe different things and that doesn't make them evil. We also talked about all the good things about our new president. It didn't take long for her to come around. She wrote this letter to him. Before I mailed it, I had to scan it in. It was so cute.
Brandon's t-ball photos:
Kathleen's t-ball photos: notice the handsome coach to the left.
Kathleen's first dive off a diving board. She did a pretty good job.

School's Out for Summer!

Kathleen had a "Field Day" at her school on the last week. It rained and was cold and eventually they ended it early. But here are some photos of their activities:

Brrrrrr. Stick your hand in cold water to dig for marbles with a spoon.

Picnic day was much nicer. Here is Kathleen with her buddy Mikayla.

The boys just wanted to play on the playground. We played I Spy to try and find the boys.

Kathleen and her teacher.

T-ball fun:
Brandon:

Cody fell asleep on the way and slept through most of the game.

Swim lessons have begun:

Cody takes after Brandon with puzzles. He put this dinosaur puzzle together all by himself.

Kathleen got all dressed up for Warren's baptism (the newest boy in her life). She really likes him because "he is hot!" When I asked her what hot meant, she said, "He is really funny. And he's 8!" There you have it.
Cody got assigned the "treat bucket" in nursery this week. He was so excited. He carried it all the way home. Then when he got there he went straight to the pantry and loaded it up with what he obviously wanted to have in his treat bucket. Then he hid the bucket behind the fruit snacks. So cute.
So I finally took the picture of the Garden boxes that I promised. But it is blurry. Sorry.

Here are videos of the kids at t-ball. Each of them hitting, and running home.
