Little Dancer

In September, Amira started taking a tap and ballet class at the Dance Establishment. It's so fun to see her dance at the same studio that I danced at for almost 13 years or so.
Her teacher is Miss Lou Ann and she is so great with little kids. Her first performance is in December and we are all looking forward to seeing her dance.

Ari's First Haircut

Since it was Amira's first day of school and first day of dance, I figured why not get Ari's first haircut out of the way as well. All of these firsts made for one emotional day!

I was pretty sure that Ari was going to do pretty well with her first haircut. Our friend Alexis trimmed up Ari's little blonde hair, and did a great job.
Ari shed some tears at first but I think she was just unsure about the whole thing.
But after some Cheerios's and a little time, she was cheesing it up in the mirror!

First Day of Preschool

How in the heck did this happen? We now have a preschooler!

In September, Amira started to go to preschool at Wee Weber.

She loves Teacher Sue and is always so excited to go to school.
After her first day of school, we had a big cookie waiting for her to eat. She was loving that!
We can't wait to see all Amira learns this year at school!

Lagoon

Our work Lagoon day started off a little on the rainy side. As soon as we got out of the car and to the gate, it started down pouring. By the time we ran back to the car, folded up the stroller, threw the kids in the car, we were completely soaked! Luckily it didn't last long and we were able to enjoy the rest of our time at Lagoon.
Amira had her favorite rides like Bulgy the Whale, the Cars and the Dragon ride.

The one ride Amira did not like was the bumper cars. She was so upset that people were hitting her car with their car. Plus it didn't help that she couldn't turn her wheel very well. We were all cracking up at her though, it made for a good laugh.

Ari was a little iffy about the rides but she did ride a few. She was happy just watching Amira and clapping for her.
My grandparents even came with us to watch the girls ride the rides. I wanted to go on the bumper cars (cause I knew it was one of the only rides I wouldn't get motion sick on) and my Grandpa came with me. It was so fun and something I know I will always remember.
I'm sure we will have lots of Lagoon visits in our future with these girlies.

Last Bear Lake Trip of 2012

I'm so sad to say goodbye to Bear Lake for the season. The girls were so much fun this summer. We went up with our friends Kevin, Tynan and their two girls. Our kids get along so well even though there is an age difference between them.
The lake was really shallow this time so it was really perfect for the little ones.
Ari was introduced to guacamole on this trip and loved it!
We finally found a life jacket that fit Ari and she would wear. She was so dang cute in it.
We really enjoyed our time up there this year and I'm already counting down the days till next summer.
