Sugar Cookies

For as long as I can remember we have always made sugar cookies around Christmas time. The girls love to "help" in the kitchen. It seems like as soon as I start to make something or even if they think I'm making something, all the sudden you hear one or both of them moving the stools over to where I am. So this year, they were more than excited to make sugar cookies.

Of course, decorating and eating the cookies is the most fun!

Fall 2012 Pictures

Two Color Photography took these pictures for us of the girls up at the Mantua Campgrounds. It was so pretty up there at this time of year. Looking back at these, I can't believe how much they have grown since then.

Thanksgiving 2012

Thanksgiving is always fun I think because for my Mom's side of the family we get together at the church and all of the kids have a ton of fun running around the gym and playing with their cousins.

At my Dad's house we had an early visit from Santa Clause again this year! Amira was a little scared at first and Ari was just pissed (she didn't get a nap). It's fun to see all of the little kids reaction to seeing Santa Clause though.

The Fresh Beat Band Concert

In November my mom and I took Amira to the Fresh Beat Band Concert. It was a lot of fun and all of the kids went crazy dancing to the songs they love.

Halloween 2012

This year we had a mermaid and a bee for Halloween. The girls really enjoyed EVERYTHING that came with celebrating Halloween. We went to the Haunting on the Hill which was a lot of fun (which hopefully I can add those pictures when I find them). Then we went trick or treating to a few of our neighbors.

Sesame Street Live

My mom and I took the girls to Sesame Street Live in October (I know, I know, I'm super far behind). Amira loved it, Ari loved it at first but it moved to slow for her. It was fun though to see the girls get excited when they saw the Sesame Street characters.

Pumpkins!

We went to Dabb's Pumpkin Patch in Farr West again this year, I like it cause it's fast and easy to pick out some pumpkins! Well, for the most part....Ryan always seems to have a difficult time choosing a pumpkin! Here's our pictures at the pumpkin patch!

With kids this small, it seems like the best approach for pumpkins is to just let the little ones paint them.
Ari was a very serious pumpkin painter this year, she didn't have time to smile for pictures!
I was very proud of my Elmo pumpkin, I thought it turned out terrific!
I think Ryan does the same face every year, he tries to make it be super scary!

Amira's First Field Trip

For Amira's first field trip we went to Pumpkinaze! We had a little bit of a rough start because she wanted to go down to big slide and it ended up being too fast and really scary for her.

After that incident she was just in a bad mood for quite a while. It was a good thing my grandparents brought Ari out with us cause she had a blast playing the games and running around.

What a cute little couple my grandparents are!!
After having some treats that Teacher Sue brought, Amira perked right up and go into playing all of the games that they had set up. Amira was a little disappointed that Pumpinaze didn't actually have any pumpkins but I was thinking the same thing!

Overall, it was a fun little field trip with the Wee Weber Preschool!
