Most Perfect Night!

I had the most perfect night last night. My Mom and Sisters planned a surprise 30th birthday for me and it was so much fun. All my favorite people were there and it was so fun to be surrounded by people that love me and to be thrown such a great party. The house was decorated so cute in a Hawaii theme. Balloons, streamers, decoration, coconut bra and skirt for me and an awesome hawaiin chick pinata made it so much fun. One of my favorite dinners, hawaiin haystacks and two awesome chocolate and coconut cakes were served. The kids and lots of adults had fun swimming and it was great to spend the evening laughing and just having a great time. Thanks so much Anna, Megan, Jess, Karen and Holly and your families for coming down and Katie, Becky and Mom for making me feel so special. Yeah! I am excited to be 30 and for this chapter of my life. Thanks too babe for cleaning up the backyard and making it all look so nice. I can not believe that you have helped me celebrate 11 birthdays! Love you! THANKS EVERYONE!

4th of July Bar-b-que

My sister-in-law Megan organized a great bar-b-que-, swim, fireworks party with a bunch of our Riverbank friends and family and my Mom's house. It was a perfect afternoon and everyone had so much fun.
My handsome boy never gets enough swimming and laways wants to get thrown "higher".

Camie and Daryn organized a nail polishing station and hair station. They love to plan little things like that.

The guys enjoyed a little horseshoe.

4th of July Parade

Instead of the normal tradition that we have of going to the downtown Modesto parade, we opted for the smaller Turlock parade. That turned out to be a mistake we won;t make again. It iwas so short and all the Spanish music on independence day got to me pretty quickly. Oh well, the kids still had fun.
Camie is so cute... she loves to lay out their clothes. For most any holiday or special even, I am sure to see a little pile like this of each kids clothes layed out nicely in the family room.

Another Swim meet!

6 Saturday's this summer were taken up all-day (at least 6-10 hours) with the kiddos swim meet. They swam on a competive team and did really good. Daryn always won a few and Camie's time always improved. They highlight of almost every swim meet was the huge $6 snowcone. Usually complements of Aunt Katie. Thanks so much Katie for coming out supporting them and keeping me company!

Kids last day of school

Camie gradualted 2nd grade, Daryn 1st and Tyler Kindergarden. Becky, Katie and Mom all came along to see them all dance and do their end of the year presentations were so cute. Daryn's mambo was so cute along with Tyler's hula dance. Camie won an award and sang a really cute song. Tyler was sooooooo excited to get a $10 bill and huge Hershey bar Grandma.

Cousins

We love them and wish all of them lived a little closer. Ben & Holly's little Isabella is growing so quick and is so fun. We are so glad that we get to see Katie's little Lucas and Addy so much.

Summer Nights

There is nothing better than a lazy summer night at home. Katie and Steve, Becky and Jason and Matt's kids were all over and we had a great evening enjoying each others company and doing absolutely nothing.

Most expensive dress ever!

Anyone who know Camryn know that she is incredibly artistic and craetive and loves to make things. A great girl from our ward - Ann Marie Hyer - is a great seamstress and was home from college so I payed her $20 per 2 hour lesson to teach Camie how to sew better. Camie loved her lessons and $65 dollars later had herself and adorable little dress she made all by herself!

My basball star!

Tyler had a great time playing t-ball. It was his first experience with baseball and he loved it. He throws great... is learning how to catch better and really enjoyed being out there with the boys. Good job buddy!

Good times with good friends.

You can never go wrong when you combine the Garcia-Young, Stacy and Evans kids. There are plenty of laughs, smiles and fun to go around.

Memorial Day

We had a bar-b-que-swim party at our house for Memorial day. Family came over and the kids were so excited when the Stacey's arrived. The Stacey's have been great friends of ours for 5 years now and our kids mesh so well. Jessica brought her new program so we had fun playing with our faborite toys and catching up on old time. Fun day with family and friends.
