Snow day

Yes, it is true. We received about 6 inches of snow last night and enjoyed it today. School was cancelled so we all stayed home and played.

Phoebe loves her 3-d glasses from Tangled because she popped out the lenses and thinks that she looks like Harry Potter. She is on her last book of the series and we can't get her nose out of the book.

Some days of summer

We did have a busy summer, I am just lousy at taking pictures. But I am getting better with my new iPhone.

Here are some of the things we did.

This is a rock slide over by our house. The girls love it. The next time we went we took tubes.

The piano teacher lives out on property and her hen had 8 chicks. The girls loved every minute of holding those babies.

Finally, the dinosaur museum.

Abby's visit cont.

More fun!

abby's visit

We had a blast with abby when she was here for the week. We went to the american girl cafe and store, watched a movie, went to the pool a lot, went to the lake, and a splash park. Oh, and an american girls teaparty. They were exhausted, but happy!

Girls baptism

The girls were baptized on June 10th 2010. They had a great experience. We were glad to have it with family and had five generations present. It was a beautiful day.

Skiing in N.C.

We decided to take a spur of the moment trip up to N.C. for some skiing. We went early in the morning, skied and returned that night. The girls loved it. They took to it pretty quickly and were skiing all day. I was freezing, but it did not bother them one bit. I couldn't get them to bundle up much and they kept wanting to take off their jackets, NO!

Look at the pictures from bottom to top. (I'm working on it) Chloe wiped out Phoebe, they thought it was pretty funny. Looks like we have some skiers on our hands.

Now we just need to see if they will like rock climbing as much as skiing!
