7 days Splendour tour in TAWIAN

First day

We board our flight at 1.40pm via EVA air plane. Surprisingly the plane ride is good, with each of us having a small TV in front of us. The food though not fantastic but passable as they even give us a ice cream each as desert.

Upon reaching tawian, it is around evening time. But as it is their winter time now, thus the sky turn dark very early. We made our way to our first destination which is the shilin market.

Ate there and shop there. First time experience, not knowing what to order..we manage to get a taste of their hao jian, their ru rou fan and not forgetting their famous pearl milk tea and crispy fried chicken.

Shopping at Shilin is a rush but we did manage to grab a few buys and off we go to our first night stay at this hotel.

Second day

We woke up early to have our breakfast at the hotel and off we embark our first natural journey to Keelung He ping Park. It situated on the northern part of tawian with many mountains surrounding on three sides serving as a natural harbour with immense water.

After which, we proceed to Chiu fen –which is the famous filming site of the “SAD CITY”. The town used to be a mining town and we had manage to try their famous dished like Taro, sweet potato balls and not forgetting their fish ball.

After which, we change our mode of transport to RAILWAY, where we will be riding it down to HUA LIEN.

After dinner at hua lien we were brought to visit this AMI Aborignial Cultural Village where their tribes members present their songs and dance performances to us.

That night stay at MARSHAL Hotel is good, as our rooms alone is BIGGG, we have two toilets and 3 double beds for just 3 sisters…

Upon reaching kaohsiung,we visit the second largest night market the XIN JIAO JIANG night market and did quite a sum of damage there and proceed to another LIU HE NIGHT MARKET for dinner and more shopping.

That night we manage to rest at this awesome hotel, we (us 3 sisters) gotten a suite to sleep in for the night. It consist of a kitchen, a super big size toilet, two rooms (with two beds in each rooms and tv in each room), a small writing table and sofassss…

Fourth day

After breakfast, we were brought to visit the magnificent Spring and Autum Pavillions where there are gigantic status of Dragon and Tiger Pagodas and Temples like Hsuan Tien Shangti temple.

It is similar to our own Chinese and Japanese Gardens.

After which is the best part of our whole journey (or so I think), we get to go Jan FU San Fancy World. It is one of the top 8 theme parks in Tawian and the rides are GDDDDD.

Very exciting the rides and what can I say…really make me shout and shout and shout…

After the exciting afternoon, we then proceed to the next city Taichung for dinner at the 5 cents Drift Wood…a very rocky place but food quite nice, then we were brought to another famous night market-Fong Jia Night Market a very popular place for food and shopping.

We rested our feet of the day at taichung after visiting nearby night market near our hotel where we get to taste some great desert.

Day 5.

Urghing…days passed by so fast when you are having fun ah.

Follwed by a trip to the Aboriginal product shop.

I had my mini birthday celebration there at a small cosy café. The presentation of their food is really good. THUMBS UP!!

After which, we proceed to visit the tallest building in the world called TAIPEI 101. Yes we made our trip up the fastest elevator in the world where it can transport us from 5th storey to the 89th storey in just 37 seconds….

First day of merry and fun, woke up early and make our first trip to KONG ZI temple and then to the GRAND Hotel for some photo taking. The grand hotel is known for its traditional palace style architecture, vermillion pillars, stately archways and brilliantly tiled roofs. It is not only a magnificent landmark of tawian, it is also an emblem of ancient china.

After lunch we then proceed to the famous Fisherman’s Wharf, which is also a popular site for filming and holding concerts.

Then we stop by a pearl show room and had a delicious BBQ buffet and Taiwan style steam boat for dinner.

After which, we checked in Chinatrust is free and easy for us.
