another year..
as i weaved my way through the buildings of the arts compound to my first lecture of the new acad year, i realised i'd forgoten how characteristically stairs-filled the place was...haha well well, i guess its welcome back to skool. :)
its a new school year!
no longer a freshie. that's qt a sad..yet also exciting thought tho in some ways hehe i cant quite decide. at least it feels good to know i no longer have the feeling of being blur and lost as i make my way around. heehee. :) i'll miss the having the sense of not noeing what to anticipate.. the beauty in the uncertainty and expecting opportunities to experience the unfamiliar.
this morning was relatively peaceful. not a particularly event-filled first day. my first lecture as a yr 2 and i have no lecture buddy.. :( haha. cant really rem what it's like not to have a fren do a mod with me... hee thats pretty bad right. as a result i was rather jittery and clammy this morning right before setting off.. but i hope i will eventually not be alone anymore..
well u cld say i will rem today cos its an unusual blazing hot aftn with no clouds! :P
and its the day after a rare kbox session with ze 61 snrs and kok and cheeks.. am deeply grateful for the chance to meet...esp with the snrs.. its been really really long. our last kbox tog was almost 2 whole years ago. can u imagine that. and tog w cheeks they'll be flying off to the great land of the US next week! the snrs are really a funky bunch.. really warm bunch who are ever generous with their support and advice for us all this while.. even tho we are not their direct jnrs.. quite sad that we didnt get the chance to know them very well during our days in hc..
dear dear cheeks... i'll be waiting to eat glutinous rice balls with u when u get back ok! =)=)
i read an excerpt from cai kangyong's blog.. tt someone once calculated that if the average man lives up to 80 years of age... it'll mean he has roughly 30,000 days of life... haha pretty scary huh.. will there ever be enuff time?
i think 1 year will pass by pretty fast....even 4 years.
as long as we dont forget to live. :)
