Prom!

Eliza went to Orem High's Prom. It was the first dance the school has had since last year when Covid-19 hit. She was so excited.

We found the cutest dress for her to wear. They went to a gun range and did some shooting for the day date. Then back home to get ready for part two.

Track Season

Eliza and Jack were both on the track teams this year.

This picture does not have anything to do with track but I liked that I had all of my kids cuddling up to me :)

Aiden came and gave Jack some tips on running the 400. He was a good coach, Jack had a great race.

Eliza ran her Sophmore year for Orem High and made the Varsity Sprint team.

She ran the 400 and 200.

She did a great job. Unfortunately she got injured and her season didn't turn out how she wanted, but she had a great time running.

We spent a lot time of time as spectators this spring. We are great cheerleaders.

You had to run fast to qualify for Alpine Days and Jack did a great job qualifying.

Coral Pink Sand Dunes

While in Kanab we also went to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes and rented a sand board!

It was so much fun and it was a lot of work walking up the dunes after your ride down.

I went for it and did not get very far before I crashed. I then took most of my turns sitting on it like a sled and that was awesome.

The best kids ever.

Buckskin Gulch

Spring Break! This year we decided to go to Kanab for our break. We stayed in a hotel for a couple of nights and check out what that neck of Utah had to offer.

We tried to get tickets to the Wave, Russell woke up early two mornings to go to the drawing with no luck. We did hike Buckskin Gulch which starts out on the same trailhead as the Wave and had a great time.

It is the longest slot canyon in the world and it was very cool!

I dropped my shirt while I was hiking and when we came back someone had placed it on a rock for me! I love that shirt so I was so happy it was found.

After Buckskin Gulch we went to the Moqui Caves. 

They were kinda a fun little excursion. I sure do love that Russell will go along with me on my ideas and make them even more fun!
