Preference

Eliza had a fun time at her Preference Dance the other day.
It was a girls choice. The girls planned a day date of pickle ball and then went over to Macy's house to get ready for the dance.

Ella, Paige, Catherine, Eliza, Macy and Jo

They look they are ready!

Eliza and her date Ryan. He picked the perfect tie to go with her dress.

They had fun posing in front of a cool car and airplane. Eliza is so pretty!

Stitches

Jack had an incident on his mountain bike last week and had to get stitches.
The first one of our kids to have them, which is pretty amazing to me.
He was riding and his leg slipped off of the pedal and hit the gears.

He said it didn't hurt, but it looks like it does to me!

We took him to the insta care and they numbed it up and washed it out really good. You can see the gear marks in his leg.

Eleven stitches later!

He went with his friend Chase and his dad Allen and on the ride when he got hurt. Allen told him that if he needed stitches he would bring him the Jerry award, and award he gives out to those who break a bone or have to get stitches when he rides with him. They had Jack's name engraved on it, the 7th person to have the honor on the trophy. Jack loved it!!
The stitches did not slow this boy down he ran a track meet, had soccer practices and went snowboarding all with his stitches in.

Valentine's Weekend

We went with the Toponce's and Grandma and Grandpa Jaussi to St George over President's Day weekend to watch Jace in his soccer tournament and party.

We started out the weekend right with treats and flowers from our sweet honey's.

Group shot on the red rocks.

The cousins.

We had fun nights watching movies, sitting in the hot tub and playing games.

Hallie and Aiden out for a little four wheeler ride. It was nice weather on Friday and then they weather got cold for the rest of the weekend.

Bundled up for Jace's soccer game. Uncle Reed joined us and it was fun to see him again.

I really add to the picture.

Eliza and Abbie are such great friends and cousins.

My mom and dad

Our family.

Sunday was Valentine's day and we decorated the table and had a delicious steak dinner.

We really had the best time, we played pickle ball, went for a drive up Kolob Canyon, and really enjoyed our time together.

Brian Head 2021

Another fun thing we did in 2020 that we kept up this year was going to snowboard at Brian Head.
I did not go this year I am not the best and I wanted the four good boarders to have a fun unhindered time. So I met them in St. George after their day on the slopes.

They had a great day. Here they are getting ready.

On the lift!

Lunch break at the car. This was a do over trip for Aiden since he was so sick last time we went. He only did a couple of runs and then slept in the car for the rest of the day.

Three cute snow boarders. Eliza is wearing all of Russell's old gear and I think that is so cool. His coat and pants from his glory days. Aiden went to Salt Lake and bought this Olympic jacket off of some guy and he is rocking it.

A great day.

Shredding it

What a cute girl

Russell and his boys

Jack loves snowboarding.

Aiden really does rock 19 year old coat. The same age as him.

The perfect day for hitting the slopes.

45!

I think middle age is creeping up on Russell. 45! But he makes it look good.

He had his mad club lunch with Roger, Dustin, Layne and Jim. They are such great friends to Russell.

And he is a good friend to them stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon!

We had a fun present opening party and then we ate the leftovers from lunch :)

He got a new light weight camping chair and some chocolates.

He looks like he is ready to sit around the fire!
Russell is the best husband and dad around. He works so hard for our family and he knows how to have fun.

New Tradition

Russell and I have a new tradition. Two years in a row now we have gone down to St George in January for a weekend getaway. It has been so much fun after the all of the stress of Christmas and Birthday month to get away and relax.

We went to Zion's and we weren't the only ones. That place is nuts. This is the line of cars to get in the gate.

Russell took this awesome picture.

We did a hike called Observation Point. It was extremely muddy in some spots. It was 7 miles total with a pretty good uphill on the way out and it was beautiful!

A selfie on top.

I love Russell so much!
