Santa

We went to see Santa. He was behind a fence to keep everyone safe from Covid. I kinda like the photo bombing Santa.

The River Woods always has fun light displays. And it was fun to spend an evening with the family.

Jack is a Teenager

Jack turned 13 on December 8th. When I asked him what we should do for his party he said let's play 9 square in the backyard and watch an outdoor movie. I had to remind him his birthday is in December. So we decided on swimming at the rec center.

He is such a cute teenager. He is handling 7th grade very well. Who wouldn't with early out day everyday and no school on Wednesdays because of the Covid.

He opened up one present before his party. A new basketball so they could play at the rec center.

The crew! Corban, Mac, Chase, Parker, Jack, Abe, Max, Joe, Matt and Troy.
They had a great time swimming and playing basketball.

Then back to our house for more presents. He got a new pair of Chacos, stickers for his snowboard and a water bottle holder and bottle for his new mountain bike. Plus fun presents from his friends.

The boys ate pizza and brownies with ice cream and had a fun night.
I now officially have three teenagers!! This will be a fun year :)

Dana's Birthday

Well, I turned 45 on December 5th... I mean I am middle aged for sure.
That is crazy.

Aiden got me flowers. It was so sweet of him. Eliza got me lotion and Russell bought me new hiking shoes. It was a great birthday. On the 4th we went to dinner with our hiking group and was spoiled some more.

Then Russell organized a lunch date with my sisters and our husbands. Kenny took one for the team and stayed home to babysit. But it was so fun to go to lunch and be with family. I love them so much!

I bet 45 is going to be awesome!

Aiden is 19!

Aiden turned 19 on November 2
30th. He is smart, responsible, fun, kind and way taller than me!
I have been a mom for 19 years and has been my guinea pig all of those years. He has handled being the oldest in our family very well and I am so proud of him.

He had a fun day. He got some new clothes.

And a cool new watch. He also got money from grandparents and aunts, which a college kid can always use.

He wanted to invite some friends over for a smoked feast provided by Russell. They had steak, shrimp, rolls, baked potatoes and chocolate cake. They were happy boys.

Aiden kicks off our birthday week at our house. His bday is 5 days before mine and then three days after mine is Jack's. Grandma Liston baked us a cake, Jack was not there he was out of town. But I love celebrating with my baby.
