May

We have had a very exciting May. All three kids played soccer this spring so that meant 6 soccer games and three practices a week, not to mention all of the other life events that were going on over the past six weeks.
Poor Jack broke his arm at one of his soccer games. He went to kick the ball, stepped on it instead, tripped and broke it real good.

We didn't have to guess if it was broken it was obvious!

He broke both bones. This is his third broken arm! I asked the Dr. if he had brittle bone disease and he said no he just has crazy kid disease! And that is for sure.

He picked out a nice orange cast, and he will have to wear it for the next four weeks. We have to go in for another x-ray today to make sure it hasn't moved.  Hopefully we will have it off by the first week of summer.

Eliza was able to participate in the Hope of America at the BYU Marriott Center in May. Fifth graders from all over the area come and sing patriotic songs and it is a cool event. She was in the yellow on the left hand side of the flag.

Mother's Day was fun. Eliza made me lunch after church including a dirty Dr. Pepper. My kids made sure I had a fun day and I love being their mom!

I got to go with Jack on his field trip. The second graders go on a hike up Rock Canyon and it was fun to go with him.

Aiden (or Arrow as the back of his shirt says) had a great season in soccer. His team was number one in his league and they ended up winning the Championship game on Friday night.

It was so exciting. We were tied 1 to 1 at the end of the game so we played 10 minutes of over time, we were still tied. So we had to do penalty kicks and Aiden's team won!

Aiden and Kyler with their trophies.

Aiden getting his trophy from his coaches. He has had the best coaches, Coach van Langen and Coach Goo. He has been with this team since the 5th grade, unfortunately in their league this is the last year they could play because they are now too old.

So it was fun to go out on top!

We have two more weeks of school and then summer break!
We are all getting so excited.
