I went and helped with Jack's Halloween party at school. He made a really good pirate. I think that we have used this costume 5 or 6 times. We have really got our money's worth out of it!
Halloween was on a Saturday this year, Paige and Eliza decided to dress up early and go to The Sweet Tooth Fairy to get a free cupcake. It is over by the mall and they walked there by themselves. They certainly are growing up!
Getting ready to head out for the night. Jack the Pirate.
Eliza wanted to be a Bee. And she sure made a cute one!
Jack and Eliza. It was a weird year, Aiden didn't go trick or treating, Eliza went with a group of friends, so it was just Russell, Jack and me walking around the neighborhood. The kids are growing up that is for sure.
Jean and Jane brought the kids some wax lips so Aiden did have some fangs and called it good.
Eliza and Paige.
This was not for Halloween but it would have made a great costume, Eliza's friend, Sophie has a grandma that knits these bearded hats that are so funny. Eliza would make a good homeless man.
The night we carved pumpkins we ate delicious homemade corn chowder in bread bowls with yummy orange soda. The bread bowls were not homemade that would be pushing it.
Russell enjoying his dinner.
Jack and Eliza had bought the spider hats at the school economics fair for a quarter and thought they would be a fun addition to our dinner. I think they were right.
Jack carved a mad scientist and a beaker in his pumpkins. Oh and it was plaid day at school, he nailed it.
This was Grandpa's big pumpkin this year...it turned into a ghost with the help of Russell's drill!
