The last couple of months have been crazy around here. We decided to do some changes to our house and it has taken a lot longer than I thought it would. Between Russell working all day, soccer games, family commitments an whatever else, Russell has had a window of time between 9 and midnight to work on it. So, it has been slow going. But I am really excited about how it is all coming together.
He stained the cabinets a dark color
Jack and Russell pulled up all of the carpet and stained the handrail dark as well
Russell laid a new wood floor, a hickory one.
This is the finished floor. It is so pretty. We took out the island and that still needs to get put back in, Russell is working on the baseboards as we speak. We still need to do some painting and then hopefully it will be a functional house once again.
Here is Russell pulling up the tile. We had fun ripping it all out and then sanding down the floor so it would be ready for the hard wood to go down.
In between the house work, we had six soccer games a week for the past month. Here is Jack and his buddy Corban with their soccer medals. They had a fun team to watch this year.
Eliza was on the Pink Panther team this year and she played really good, she scored a couple of goals and liked playing defense.
Here she is dribbling the ball.
Aiden played with his team the Chargers once again, they had a rough spring season only wining one game. But during the tournament they played awesome making it to the semi finals.

During this last month we also went to Idaho for Maelee's baptism, had Megan, Kenny and Bennet visit us from Denver, my mom and dad came for a few days from Idaho, did some school projects and tried to keep up with everything else. It has been a fun month!
