brazilian christmas

she drew this for santa.

santa & rudolf. this will be framed someday .

. alice was "the gift" this year.

she asked santa for alice every time she got a chance...

even sent him a letter.

& he didn't disappoint. i loved her excitement this year .

. princess castles & home alone... love that i caught this moment.

right when kevin puts the spider on the guys face... she was shocked .

. our little brazilian christmas was great. but it is our 2nd christmas away from home in a row. crossing our fingers that next year we will celebrate with family & friends at home .

the people here are so friendly, the food is delicious & the bathing suit selection is amazing.

halloween

russ had to be in brazil before halloween so we had a little family party so he could see the kids in their costumes before he left.

all the other goods... pumpkin patches, trick or treating & halloween parties are on our home computer... so this will have to do. who knows... maybe i'll post them by next christmas...

THREE

with russell training with the national team, summers can be quite hectic. his schedule changes depending on how well they are doing so it can be tricky to plan something big... like say, your daughter's 3rd birthday party... on a day when he will undoubtably be able to make it. so last year i was frantically throwing a party together in a couple of days... so a HUGE thank you to all our friends & family that helped me get it all in order & showed up with such short notice... it obviously wouldn't be a party without you!!

here are a few from our time in austria... yes all the way from last year. i just couldn't move on in blogging without documenting the rest of our stay in this beautiful country. these are from when russell's parents came to visit & we took a fun trip to vienna. we only had a day there... far to little time to really explore... i would love to go back!

and we ended the day finding a disney store... needless to say the little princess was in heaven!

and she got to choose a little something special...

i am hoping to see much more of this beautiful country at some point.
