So, a few days ago, Erin started a new thing: She will put one of her stuffed animals that she sleeps with under her shirt and then falls asleep. Then when she wakes up, whatever was under her shirt "hatches out". It is sure cute going into her room at night to check on her and seeing what animal she has managed to shove under her shirt!! Today at resttime I decided that a picture was required, and the lucky animal was her new stuffed dog she got for Christmas. She started waking up right as I was taking the pictures....

Sledding at home!
Okay, Okay....I know that I have done a lot of postings lately but such is the time of year I think! :) The plows put most of the snow from our area right in front of our house so we now have a pretty big pile there. So yesterday we made a sledding ramp down it, going into the street (we live on a bit of a circle, so there aren't many cars that go where they were sledding down). And the girls went pretty far since the street is just a sheet of ice! They really wanted to go sledding, but I didn't want to go anywhere-we're doing that on Monday- so this worked out really nice!

Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! We had a wonderful Christmas this year. The girls LOVED the doll houses Josh and I made for them. Bailey has already assigned each Polly Pocket to each room. Erin has been putting her stuffed animals in them instead. I included pictures of the houses because many people wanted to see them. They were hard work but I think it was worth it!
Bailey was most excited to see that Santa brought her a lamp!!
We went down to my mom's house the day after Christmas to do presents, etc. with her and my sister and family. We had a rough trip there and back because the roads were very dangerous, but it was a fun conclusion to our holidays!
Hope everyone had a wonderful time too.

Well, it was Bailey's birthday party yesterday. We did her party a few days early since the 23rd is just too close to Christmas. (Believe me, I know--since we share a b'day). She had some of her friends over and they all had such a great time. I made her cake and it actually turned out pretty good, so I was pleasantly surprised. The kids did a little craft, had cake, played musical freeze tag, and had a scavenger hunt. Such a fun time!

Santa!!
Well, today we went and saw Santa. The girls were so excited! Erin went first and she got right up there on his lap and asked him for 'some stars'. Santa a was a little confused so I clarified by saying that she wanted glow-in-the-dark stars. :) Then she just sat there chatting with him and told him that she loved him and gave him a couple hugs! Then Bailey got up on his lap and asked him for a lamp. He asked her if she wanted some toys and she said no because her birthday is right before Christmas so she'll get toys then. It was so cute!! I wonder what Santa thinks that our kids asked for those odd items. As we were leaving the mall, the girls looked around everywhere to see his sleigh and his reindeer but no luck there!
It is so much fun this year now that they both understand Christmas and Santa!

We finally got some snow today! The girls were very excited! Right after Bailey left for school, Erin wanted to 'help' shovel the driveway. There wasn't much there to shovel, but she had fun playing! For every snow-filled shovel I put in the grass, she got her shovel and put snow back on the driveway. I love this 'helpful' stage! :)
Well, there were many of you who wanted to see Bailey at her dance recital but couldn't make it so I thought I'd post some of the pictures. She did really well with her ballet and tap dance. There were times that she got a bit lost in the dance steps but that was to be expected after only 3 months of lessons. She sure was cute! The recital was simple but it meant so much to her!

It's Official!
Well, it is official-it's Christmas time! Well, at least in my house it is! I pulled out all of my decorations and my house is looking very Christmasy. It seems that every year I find decorations that I didn't know I had and makes it that much more fun! And I'm currently listening to Mannheim Steamroller Christmas CD so my house sure is festive! The girls had fun helping me with the decorations and then they took turns pretending to be Santa. Needless to say, they are pretty excited!!
There was even a little bit of 'white stuff' on my grass this morning, although it is all gone now. :) I'm ready for the holidays!

Well, I've Started!
Well, I've finally started a blog....after many people have asked and bugged me about it. :) So, I guess I should start off by giving a little rundown. Josh and I were married March of 2002. We have 2 girls, Bailey and Erin. We currently live in Logan where Josh works as the Director of Development Services for Cache County. Bailey is in kindergarten and Erin in preschool. Meanwhile, I stay at home keeping things going here and keep myself busy with many random things.
Speaking of random, I titled our blog that because Josh says I can be the most random person. This blog might sometimes seem that way too, so I think the title fits!
