Sim and Dez started school a few weeks ago. Sim is in half day kindergarden and Dez is in 4th grade. I cant belive she just has a couple years of elementary school left.
Here is Carter waiting by the window for Sim to get off the bus. We wait outside for him everyday. It is so nice to have the bus drop hm off. Bow I only have to go to the school 2 times a day instead of 3.
He wanted a picture of him with the bus. He was scared to rode it at first. But now he loves it.
I guess school wasnt too bad cause this is the smile I got on his second day of school.

Interesting Vegas trip...
Here is the hotel we stayed at... even the name sounds shady.
The van I drove. That i actually very much enjoyed. I have always hated vans and talked bad about them. But this one was really nice. It is very family friendly. I can understand why so many moms have them. All the doors except the driver and front passenger one open with the click of a button on the key and inside the car. so for all the moms that have lots of kids like me its easy to open when your hands are full.
All of us at Skeeters. We are all tired but excited to see everyone. We were so sad we couldn't stay longer.
Goofy kids
So this one should have been first. I forgot to add this into the story. I started potty training carter a week before this. I knew it was going to be a rough trip with a new potty-trainee. He was doing really good about peeing on the potty but pooping was not so good. So we get outside of wickenburg and sim keeps saying, mom i think Carter pooped. GRRREAAT!! So theres a whole lot of nothing where we are. He has underwear on and he pooped his pants and it was messy. So i pulled off the freeway by this scary building and took him out of his seat. I am hoping for an easy clean up but nope. Luckily i had water bottles and soap handy because he needed a rinsing. So i washed him with a bottle of water and some soap. Fun fun! I guess that just went to show me that the whole trip was going downhill from there.
Here's the suburban after Scott picked it up. He had it fixed and running by the time i got home the next day. After he had already been up all night getting it then back up for work at 4am.

After he had already been up all night getting it then back up for work at 4am.We had quite the interesting trip to Vegas this summer. So here's the story... Skeeter (my sis in law) took Dezi back with her to stay a week and visit. So I decided that I would go up there and stay the weekend then just bring Dezi back with me. So I go to look for a hotel and there is NOTHING, not anything within an hr and a half of Vegas. So I made a new plan. I asked my dad to ride with me and the kids since Scott had to work and couldn't come. We decided to just drive up early in the morning and get there in the afternoon and hang out for awhile and leave that night and get a hotel in kingman on the way home. So we get up early and are making really good time. Then the terror starts... I get off the freeway in kingman and as I'm about to turn to get on the road thru kingman my steering wheel wont turn. So I yell to my dad "the steering wheel wont turn" he thinks I'm kidding at first then grabs the wheel and realizes the power steering went out in my suburban. I'm yanking the wheel so I don't hit anyone and i pull into the next gas station and believe me that was not easy. I used all my strength and got it turned into the first parking spot. I call Scott and and tell him what happened. He tells me well I will come get it tonight with my dads truck. He's seriously an awesome husband! he had to be up at 4 am the next morning. So we rented a car in kingman and drove to Vegas. They didn't have a car big enough for the 6 of us that we will have once we get Dezi. So we call and make sure we can trade the rental we have for something bigger in Vegas and they said they had a van. So we finally get to Vegas and they have no record of us calling and they have no cars big enough for 6. so we waited there for awhile while they figured out what to do and they finally found the van that we were supposed to get. We finally make it to Skeeters at 6:30 pm. If we would have been able to drive straight there we would have gotten there around 1pm. We stayed and had dinner and left at 8:30-9pm. We planned to stay in kingman. We were really tired by the time we got there. we went to 4 different hotels before they finally said they didn't think there were any rooms available in kingman nut to try one more place. Kind of a crap shack place but we had tired kids and no choice but to stay. They had 2 rooms left and we got one of them. So finally we could rest. I took a few pictures of our.... lets say, adventure :) also i cannot be thankful enough that my dad was with me. I don't know what i would have done with 3 little kids and stuck in kingman. I wouldn't have known the power steering was what was wrong.
I know there is a lot of typos in this post. I was in a hurry today and just wanted to get some pics on here cause I'm so behind.

It finally let me get my pictures on here. I havent blogged in so long because we have moved and it has taken me awhile to settle in. My house is not fully unpacked yet and I dont know if I will unpack it all the way. We are just renting a house for now. We are trying to sell our other house. We have had several people look at it so we've got our fingers crossed. The kids are adjusting well to the move they like being closer to our family.
it's been forever
I have not blogged in a really long time. We have been very busy the last 2 months. The last 2 weeks ive been trying to pictures on here and its not letting me. I dont know whats going on with it. I'm going to keep trying.

LEHI DAYS!!
Scott went out of town last weekend so me and the kids went and stayed at Scotts parents. Doug helps out at Lehi days so we went and spent the day with them. Betty helped me so much with the kids. We stayed for several hours and had a blast! The kids did some of the activities. So heres what they did.....
Sim chased the money goat. They tape dollars to goats and they send different age groups out at a time to chase them and get a dollar. Sim is pretty shy and I was very surprised he went out there, so I was even more surprised he got a dollar!!! I was so proud I may have shed a tear :)
Here is Doug with the kids. They absolutley love him!! Betty bought the kids their hats and boots. They look so cute in them. Sim has not gone anywhere in his tennis shoes since she gave him the boots.
Here they are with their numbers.
Sim and Shandi did the goat dressing. They put big boxer shorts on the younger kid and try to pull them off the kid and onto the goat as quickly as possible. It was fun to watch.
Awesome aunt Shandi putting their numbers on.
That is Carters normal face, mad or happy. He's got a great scowl. I hear the scowl comes from Aunt Skeeter....

We had a great time this whole weekend. Lots of family time with the Ruckers..... Rodeo, el charro, homemade ice cream and a sleepover. Whats better than that!!
