Happy New Year! Happy 2014! Good year ahead!

Let's review what I've done in year 2013, shall we? :)

1. Picked up a music class. It's my childhood dream to learn piano.
2. Final year project was a success!
3. Joined as Red Ryder. Learned to be more outspoken and to drive a manual car!
4. Traveled to Taipei, Taiwan.
5. Found a stable job.
6. Officially graduated from UTAR.
7. Traveled to Krabi, Thailand.
8. Traveled to Sabah.

In 2013, I graduated from an academy university and enrolled myself into a society university. Life will be more challenging and greater responsibility for me. I must do my very best to become a better better better person, learn from mistakes, be more happy, love everyone around me, work hard to earn money and play ever harder!

Let's not waste our life a single second! :)

Taipei@Taiwan Trip Day 1

Just realized that I didn't blog about my trip to Thailand, and it was during last September. Gosh, I am getting lazier and lazier, someone please catch the lazy worm(s) in my body so that I can blog frequently thankiu XD

Fret not, after so many rounds of self-introspection on my laziness attitude, here is another travel post of mine again! Hope that’s more to come *fingers crossed*

This post is about my recent trip to Taiwan!

I felt so excited when I was on board. It wasn't my first time taking a flight but my heart was beating super-fast and my adrenaline hormones were so active when the plane was about to take off. The feeling was so incredibly high when you are flying on the sky!

It was about 4 hrs and 30 mins journey.

My travel-mate, Esther. Together with her sis and bro. 

Touched down at Taiwan TaoYuan International Airport 桃园国际机场 at 10.30pm!

Thank God coz the hostel that we've booked providing us the transport service that could send us from airport to our hostel in Taipei. Immediately, we tried to look for the car at the airport entrance which I thought the driver would be a 50+ year old uncle but ended up the driver was a young hot guy who got 80% looks like…

Our hostel was located at a small narrow alley behind the shop lots near Taipei main station. If you ain’t the local, you could hardly find the street. From outside, the building is so old and inconspicuous but you would drop your jaw once you opened the door. Curious? Show you the pic after this coz we were so hungry after landed in Taiwan. XD

Went to the nearest pasar malam, Ning Xia Night Market 宁夏夜市 to hunt for our “dipper” (dinner +supper).

Alright, food porn is over! It’s time for me to show you the photos of my hostel. Salute to the hostel owner who is so good in decorating the rooms, by using Ikea items, card boxes and creativity! The hostel wasn't as grand as some the others but it would be a great accommodation for backpackers or young travelers who are looking for an affordable, convenient, clean and ghost-less hostel.

It was an evening flight so by the time we reached Taipei already late night. Therefore our first day in Taiwan was wasted because everywhere was closed and didn’t has the chance to visit the places around our hostel.

I know right, cheap flight tix always give you the shit flight timing. >.<

10 Things You Don't Know About Me

My colleagues have been asking me to tell them 10 things they don't know about me. It's annoying because I don't really know who am I actually, for these 22 years. My life was such a mess and miserable.

Tonight, I am going to sit down and think (very very very hard) what makes me actually and here is the list.

Fact 1. I wanted to take part in pageant competition since young. As I gets older, my face looks uglier and my body grows shorter and fatter, so I ditched this dream. It was only just a dreammmm~

Fact 2. I hate people who say "whatever" to me when I am asking them question. It's like when you need some attentions from the one you care but they just don't give a damn to you. This is so disrespectful!

Fact 3. I have animal's fur phobia and I will shriek with a super duper high pitch voice if any animal touches my legs suddenly but I still wanted to breed small size dog to get rid this phobia asap.

Fact 4. I cannot stand with any idiots around me which also including my own stupidity because I think brainless person is useless and they should disappear in this world.

Fact 5. I always have the evil thought that hoping there's a fire accident happened at my old house so that all my families have no choice but move to the new house together. Of course, I don't want this to happen anyway.

Fact 6. I want to be a volunteer to take care of orphans because I feel pity to babies or kids who lost their parent's love since the first day they born.

Fact 7. I love guy who is smart looking with spike hair, knows music, plays sport, humour, knowledgeable, mentally mature, ambitious and caring.

Fact 8. I like to look at myself from the mirror, doing different actions, poses and expressions in front of the mirror when I am alone. This can last for few hours cause too self-obsessed.

Fact 9. I am the type of person who is hardworking to learn something new but lazy to work because I am a lazy ass.

Fact 10. I don't like alcoholics and smokers. Drinking too much alcohol and smoking too much not good for health. We need a healthy body to enjoy, not to suffer. YOLO

11. I don't really like to share my personal details to people I don't really close with. You can only get to know more about me if we upgraded from acquaintances to friends to close friends. By that time you will be surprised that the person you first met is not the person you know now.

So this is how am I going to tell other people who I newly make friends with. If you wanna know more about me you gotta spend more time with me, get to know me more deeply through some experiences in order to discover my real personality that underneath me.

Sweet Escape to Morib and Tanjung Sepat

I am going to like this blog post very much because it is about travelling! Even though I haven't finished writing yet but I knew it! lol

You know right, travelling is all about fun, enjoy, holidays, food (don't care about how fat I will become, eat now regret later), no need to study or work (no more stress from project deadlines or exams), crazy friends (unless your travel-mates are sucks), drinks (alcohol *wink*), sun, beach, bikini... ...

Had a 2D1N road trip to Morib and Tanjung Sepat with my coursemates two weeks back on the day after we finished our last paper! It was our uni graduation trip by the way. Somehow I felt pity to us because this location was so near from KL, that's only 1 hour driving distance from Klang. I thought we could travel to places even further from places we live in so that to make the graduation trip sounds more like a graduation trip, at least Melaka la please! Feeling so envy and jealous at the same time when seeing other people's precious graduation trip was at Penang, Johor or even Singapore. Mannnnn I wanna go to Singapore Universal Studio so badly!!!!!

It should have 10 people in the trip but two of them ffk (couldn't join) us due to some emergencies that happened. So another two new members joined in to replace the two because we didn't want to waste the extra hotel room. The 10 people were no longer my pure coursemates but mixed with one from other course and another one is the friend of my coursemate. For a moment I really thought it won't be fun anymore and I didn't feel like joining this trip because we lost the real meaning of graduation trip. As how I interpret, the term "graduation trip", it is the last trip that you spend with a class of people from the same course before you graduate. Yeah, that's how I really feel, disappointed, upset, not fun, sien... no hard feeling to my friends but seriously. Thinking from another angle, it wasn't they wanted to but sometimes life is like this whereby you really need to sacrifice something that you like a lot because the shits just happened. Wow, so much philosophy lol

We didn't play with the sea, the water was so dirty that I was afraid my skin might be infected with some kind of diseases, maybe crabs' pee infection since so many crabs were there lol. So we only played around the beach area.

Was almost got sunburn playing under the hot sun at the beach. A real cold chilling session is a must after that! So we stopped by the Ice Kacang stall (Kor Teck Guan Food Stall) at the roadside!

Dinner time! We went to have our dinner at Ocen Seafood Restaurant located just beside the bridge. The environment sucks and the food sucks. While having our dinner, the wind blew the smell of sea towards our direction and the smell was freaking stinky! Feel like puking every time the wind blows. I think it might be people keep throwing rubbish to the sea and makes the sea polluted that's why the smell of the sea was so yucks! Keep our ocean clean please.

Not sure if the smell of the sea was so bad that eventually affected my taste on these dishes, it's like I rather eat bread as my dinner. So I went to a fried ice-cream stall in front of this restaurant to have my first try on the fried ice-cream cause the dinner was so sucks and I also feel like trying it cause always get positive comments on how nice a fried ice-cream is. :D

Playing Dare and Dare

The powerful of technology carries you and your friends virtually together even they are physically far apart from each other. XD

Facetime-ing and skype-ing with those who couldn't join us during that night.

Needless to say, he was suffering the hangover after a shot of gin. Kesian Kelvin, he need to practice his liquor capacity la seriously. Poor Lim took care of him for one whole night,  he can apply nurse job at hospital already.

While waiting for Kelvin's hangover sickness to recover, we all went back to our own room to sleep since it's already 3am. The next morning was another great sunny day and we woke up early for the buffet breakfast provided by the hotel! Yay! Then back to sleep after breakfast until 12noon, the room checkout time. Heeee

Tried the steam lala here once and it was goddamn nice! Too bad that day we went the shop was closed. :(

This whole trip was so budget in cost because we bought the hotel deal from Groupon and we saved a lot from there! The deal included 2D1N studio suite with jacuzzi, water theme park passes and buffet breakfast and more! Only RM 198 for 2, so worth right! Online shopping is not a bad thing after all, smart consumers know how to save money but still can live in a luxurious life. *Feeling proud* lol

As for the food throughout the whole trip, the quality was okay okay, not really nice but the fried ice-cream was an exception! Since the price range of these food was affordable so I understand to which extent the quality is, couldn't blame much on this. 

On the entertainment segment, I give 11 out of 10 stars because with all the funny and crazy people around, every second is entertaining! Heart them all! Thanks for planning this trip and giving me a sweet memory towards the end of my uni life. Yes I am graduating soon! All the best to all of them from the bottom of my sincere heart, I wish you all do well in your future undertakings!
