Anger Management... I need IT!

This entire week, I had something that every day to upset me. Be it a screw up by a colleague, pulling stunts from clients, emails that bite me or just saturation to the maximum. Though i am heated, i am proud to say that i maintained cool-headed and wrote emails that drips acid but factual. Thats what it is about isnt?

Slammed on the Face

Over the year of working, I have learned to managed difficult clients. Some group of people that I do not wish to mention, but they are very expressive. Just the other day, this male client started raising his voice at me and cast unfavourable light to the company- pushing unreasonable responsibilities to us. I was feeling tired with him ranting and being sooo "expressive". Feeling a sudden bravery and shall not live up to his ridiculous behaviour, I gave it back to him.

Me: Sir, Are you done?
Berserk: Yes..
Me: Excellent!!!
*** 3 Sec long pause**
Berserk: Why are you being so rude to me?
Me: Do you feel that? Most of the time we are not conversing and you are just being negative. What is the purpose of the call?
Bersek: Lower down the price.
Me: I do not like the way you talk. For you to raise your voice at me, it is v.uncalled for. Please calm down should you want to continue this conversation, if not i do not see a point in proceeding
Bersek: Oh, you know me, i have big lungs
Me: No, i do not know you. I met u once last week. I cannot appreciate your style of communication
Bersek: Oh... erm.. Well, you will get use to it if we strike this deal
Me: I have explained our situation for not able to lower the price.
Bersek: Could you relook? *softer tone* We wantto make this work
Me: Oh if you start the conversation like this, I am sure we did not have to waste so much time.

Price was not reduced.


Beresek 2: Oh, Miss.. why cant lower dwn the price? Can I see you tmrw @ 11am?
Me: Ok.. i have also chk with my manager, I am afraid I could not reduce further
Bersek 2: Nevermind, I will see you?

11am: passed and over. No sight of Bersek 2 but I didnt call as well... Better off clearing work

3.30pm:
Beresek 2: Miss, can i see you @ 5pm?
Me; Sorry sir, but i have an appointment @ 4pm and 6. Only time i can make it is 5.30pm, we can meet up for 30min?
Bersek2: ok i will cu there

4.45pm

Client came early, but i was not able to entertain as i was still engaged. He called 20min later and told me tt he needs to fly off at 4pm next day and would like to meet me at 10am tmrw. I said that i would revert on my schedule when i got out from meeting. 15min later, after meeting, i was doing a debriefing with my boss and he called. He marched into the office- shouted at my face in front of the reception for delaying him!! Such nerve... He forgotten that he came early, called me to reschdule the meeting. Such uncouth beahviour! I cant hep him if he has Short Term Memory?

Ready to explode anytime, I sat down and gaze at him with a smile so plastic that it will crack anytime if the heat is escalated. My mind is total blank and i just see this animal hopping up and down. Colleagues turned and shot me a look. After his demonstration, he can still try to press dwn the price. FORGET IT.

There are alot of interesting characters out there. Some more diffcult to handle. I reckon I would be able to handle this better next time. For some strange sadistic reason, I would want another of this to happen and test my reaction.
