Live it up- Macao
Its HongKong again! Close frens know exactly why I am there. This time round its totally different. Its different climate, weather and setting. Much to Ho's relief, I am not rushing to all the places to shop and eat. We took a much light hearted approach- to rest our feet whenever feel like it and to eat whatever that seemed interesting on the streets.
Hong Kong was so so cold. I forgot how 12 deg can be. Prepared with 2 t-shirts, 1 jacket, 1 scarf and a pair of jeans, I thought I was well prepared. I was so wrong. Just two minutues waiting for the mini bus, I thought my toes are falling off.
The family is so hospitable!! Imagine when you stepped in, a pair of new bedroom slippers was prepared, a new jacket in fear that little clothes was brought and a welcome Hokkaido white chockies. I was overwhelmed by the hospitabilty of the folks.
Macao is a city of gamble. Beside that main activity, I cant think of other things you can do. The city is brightly coloured with the casino lights and the buzz of people rushing to gambling tables and smoking rollies is an eye opener. There are also many nice cathedrals around and streets selling almond cookies and 'spore bak gua'. We just walked around and follow where our noses bring us. Verdict: not all long queue sell nice food.
