How to get KIDS to CLEAN

We bought the new Indiana Jones movie yesterday and ever since we bought it Garrett and Alex have been asking to watch it. They were told that we would watch it on Sunday night as a family because there was some parts in it that we needed to be there with them for. So anyways it was getting around to the time to watch the movie and Michael told them that we would watch it if they went downstairs and cleaned up the family room. Now Garrett and Alex never clean up anything, we have never seen them move so fast and vacuum so fast. We were upstairs laughing just watching them. Needless to say the family room got cleaned up and we all watched Indiana Jones (except I fell asleep, not my kind of movie).

Potty Time

Jex is such a crack up. He comes walking out of the bathroom today with his potty chair on is head. As you can see he is laughing so hard that the potty seat is falling off his head. He likes to wear the potty chair more than he likes to use it, we hope one day he will be potty trained.

"I want Some"

I was making homemade brownies the other day and Jex was downstairs watching TV. He must have heard the Kitchen Aid going because all of a sudden he was up stairs tugging at my pant legs saying "I want Some" I told him that they had to cook and that he could have a brownie when they are done. Next thing I know he is putting his little fingers in the pan of brownie batter and is begging for the spatula that I used to scoop it out with. This is the first time that Jex has every had an intrest in licking the spoon or wanting to taste the batter.

Crazy Sock Day

So a few weeks ago it was Red Ribbon Week at School. Each day they had to do different things and one of the days was Crazy Sock Day. I am such a mean Mom and I made Garrett and Alex wear some of my socks to school they were not as excited as I was. When they got home from school I asked them if anyone said anything about the socks and other kids actually thought that they were COOL!!

Michael's Graduation

He did it!! Michael graduated from the Leadership Development Training. Hill Air Force Base has a partnership with Weber State that offers college courses for Supervisors. He attended classes at Weber State and also on the base. We attended a graduation ceremony that was very nice. The Commander of the 309th Fighter Wing, the President of Weber State, the President of the Ogden Air Logistic Center where all there conducting the graduation. He recieved a certificate from Weber State and also from the base. It was neat, when we came out to leave a C-130 had just taken off and flew by us. The Air Force is such an elite part of our Military, it is fun to be a part of it in a little way.
