My life
Is an exercise
In waiting
Praying
And praising
Nothing is
Ever easy
Or clear cut
I need You
To give me
Strength
Not to
Give up
When the road
Splits
Trust me
You say
When I can’t
Trust my
Own self
Every dream
I have
Is one
That takes
Exceptional miracles
To take place
And only
You can
Make those happen
I throw in towels
Before you
Can work
I don’t know
Why I’m shocked
Anymore
You make
The impossible
Look like
A cake walk
And yet
I still doubt
In Your ability
Or maybe
It’s my
Need to
Have instant gratification
Despite repeated
Biblical passages
That speak
Of the
Wayward thinking
That occurs
When my eyes
Wander from yours
God is amazing and able to work miracles where none seem possible. I'm glad you are able to see His hand in your life.

God can accomplish the impossible when we can't. Our job is to patiently wait for His impeccable timing. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteWaiting, praying, and praising. How wonderful it is of you, Regine, to praise the Lord while you wait.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for always stopping by, sometimes just to say hello. It puts a big smile on my face. : )

Beautiful words! Thank you Regine, you are very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully honest and relatable. Waiting and trusting can be so tough, especially when things don’t happen right away. Love the reminder to keep our focus on God, even when doubts creep in. Thank you for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully said. I sometimes get impatient waiting for an answer but God does answer our prayers in his own time. I have to learn to be patient and that is sometimes very hard.
ReplyDeleteAn exercise in waiting, praying and praising. Sounds like my life, too. Though I'm not great at patience and I'm still having to work on being grateful everyday. Thanks for sharing your words and thoughts, Regine. :D
ReplyDeletePatience is a hard virtue. I smile when I recall the words "Dear God please give me patience and give me patience RIGHT NOW." God has His own timing doesn't he?
ReplyDeleteBom dia, Regine
ReplyDeleteDeus é Poderoso, vamos louvar e esperar o tempo Dele, um forte abraço.
What a beautiful post. Lovely words as well. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. /Madison
