St. George

Last weekend Colette and Aleisha went down to spend a few days with Jesse and Colton in St. George. We had a fun weekend but were ready to come home from the 112 degree weather. Friday night we went to Tarzan at Tuacahn, the outdoor amphitheatre. It was a really fun show.

Saturday Jesse and Colton took us out to Snow Canyon to go on a hike. It was really cool but way too hot!
This is in front of a huge cave that they took us to. The boys came prepared with flashlights so we could hike up through the cave. It was really cool and was about the size of a house on the inside.
Colton liked to find all the little mini caves on our hike and Jesse insisted on going to the very top of every mountain he could find.

Thanks for the fun weekend boys!

4th of July Weekend

The holiday weekend started off early Saturday morning when we all got up early to go watch the runners in the Freedom Run. Colette, Kayd, Natalee, Todd and Nikki were all running so we had alot of runners to watch for. They all finished and were happy with their times.Sunday night we had a BBQ at our house to continue the celebration. We had lots of yummy food, roasted smores over the fire and of course fireworks.
We had more fun on Monday at the longest ever Hyrum parade. Grandpa Pulsipher loves this parade every year so we were even able to bring him over for a few hours.

Hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th!

Father's Day

We had a really nice Father's Day. We were able to check grandpa out for the day and bring him out to his home ward for church. He had a good time seeing and talking with all of his friends. After church we brought him out to our house and had a yummy lunch with lots of treats with some of the family.

Easter/Spring Break

We started off Easter weekend by heading to St. George late Friday afternoon to go spend our week of spring break with Jesse, Colton, grandma and grandpa. I think Jesse and Colton were pretty excited to see us because they were both over to see us bright and early the next morning! We were lazy and hung out enjoying the sun for most of the day. Then when the boys got off of work we had lots of fun coloring Easter eggs.
Sunday morning we had our traditional Easter egg hunt outside...even though we are all a little old we still had fun with it. Everyone was trying to find the golden egg this year because we all knew it had money in it....Colton was the winner!
Then mom and grandma fixed us a yummy Easter dinner with ham, rolls, potatoes and of course pie! We spent the rest of our week off just relaxing and loving the warm weather and sunshine! Although on Jesse and Colton's day off we did talk dad into going to Vegas for the day even though he wasn't so thrilled about it. We had fun doing lots people watching, shopping, laughing and more people watching! Thanks for the fun day and the fun week mom and dad!

Christmas 2009

Christmas was a little different at our house this year. Jesse and Colton had to work on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day in St. George so it was pretty quiet around here until they were able to get home.
Christmas Eve Reeder's and Grandma and Grandpa Pulsipher came up to celebrate with us. The Wards and Bodilys even got to spend it with us this year. We had a night full of yummy sweet pork dinner, treats, piano recitals, lots of laughs and even some jamming out to Rockband. It was a fun night but definately wasn't the same without the boys!

We decided to let Rylee open her presents from our family that night so she wouldn't be so overwhelmed with all of her new toys in one day. She was so cute and excited about opening them. As soon as she would get the wrapping paper off each of them she would say oh wow, wow!!

If you cant tell Rylee is just kind of the center of attention :)...Thanks for sharing her with us Ash and Justin!!

Christmas Day we got up and my mom cooked our family and grandma and grandpa Pulsipher, Stan, Debbie, Justin and Ashlee breakfast. Then the Wards left to go to Justin's parents house and we spent the day at Stan and Debbie's. Grandma and Grandpa Reeder came to visit and brought Aunt Joyce with them. Other than that we didn't do much besides eat and be lazy by the fire all day.
Our real Christmas started at the 3:30 AM on the 26th when Jesse and Colton finally made it home. Colton didn't want to wake his family up so early so instead they picked up Tiny and headed to our house to get us all up. We got up and opened presents and talked to them for a little bit before we went back to bed again. We all got spoiled again as usual. As tired as we were it sure was exciting to finally have them home!

Tiny was super tired!

Later that night we had one more party since the boys had missed all of our family parties. We of course had more good food and lots of laughs watching each other try to play the wii.

Jesse even brought his cute girlfriend Miranda to meet the family!

Now we've said all of our goodbyes and the Wards and Jesse and Colton are back home! Back to school and work for everyone tomorrow :(
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
