Easter 2011

We decided this year instead of doing a big dinner with ham or turkey we were going to do a Brunch in the afternoon instead. We invited the family to our house and had all sorts of yummy food for our Easter Brunch. It ended up being really fun to try something different.

Before we ate dinner we had to have our big Easter egg hunt! Roger had bought, filled and hid 147 eggs, including a gold and silver egg, for the "kids" to find. He decided since this was the last Easter us kids would be the "kids" in our family we needed to have one last hunt. I think we all had more fun than we would admit hunting the eggs. :) Colton and Kayd were quite proud to find the gold and silver eggs!

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

St. George

Last weekend Colette and Aleisha went down to spend a few days with Jesse and Colton in St. George. We had a fun weekend but were ready to come home from the 112 degree weather. Friday night we went to Tarzan at Tuacahn, the outdoor amphitheatre. It was a really fun show.

Saturday Jesse and Colton took us out to Snow Canyon to go on a hike. It was really cool but way too hot!
This is in front of a huge cave that they took us to. The boys came prepared with flashlights so we could hike up through the cave. It was really cool and was about the size of a house on the inside.
Colton liked to find all the little mini caves on our hike and Jesse insisted on going to the very top of every mountain he could find.

Thanks for the fun weekend boys!

4th of July Weekend

The holiday weekend started off early Saturday morning when we all got up early to go watch the runners in the Freedom Run. Colette, Kayd, Natalee, Todd and Nikki were all running so we had alot of runners to watch for. They all finished and were happy with their times.Sunday night we had a BBQ at our house to continue the celebration. We had lots of yummy food, roasted smores over the fire and of course fireworks.
We had more fun on Monday at the longest ever Hyrum parade. Grandpa Pulsipher loves this parade every year so we were even able to bring him over for a few hours.

Hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th!

Father's Day

We had a really nice Father's Day. We were able to check grandpa out for the day and bring him out to his home ward for church. He had a good time seeing and talking with all of his friends. After church we brought him out to our house and had a yummy lunch with lots of treats with some of the family.

Easter/Spring Break

We started off Easter weekend by heading to St. George late Friday afternoon to go spend our week of spring break with Jesse, Colton, grandma and grandpa. I think Jesse and Colton were pretty excited to see us because they were both over to see us bright and early the next morning! We were lazy and hung out enjoying the sun for most of the day. Then when the boys got off of work we had lots of fun coloring Easter eggs.
Sunday morning we had our traditional Easter egg hunt outside...even though we are all a little old we still had fun with it. Everyone was trying to find the golden egg this year because we all knew it had money in it....Colton was the winner!
Then mom and grandma fixed us a yummy Easter dinner with ham, rolls, potatoes and of course pie! We spent the rest of our week off just relaxing and loving the warm weather and sunshine! Although on Jesse and Colton's day off we did talk dad into going to Vegas for the day even though he wasn't so thrilled about it. We had fun doing lots people watching, shopping, laughing and more people watching! Thanks for the fun day and the fun week mom and dad!
