9 Months

I can't believe that Bailey is already 9 months. It has flown by, I don't have a little baby anymore. I took her in for her check up and she is doing great! I had to laugh that at 17 lbs. she is only in the 14 percentile. Seriously, there must be some buddha babies out there. She is such a great baby though. She now has 4 teeth and it appears that she is working on 2 more. She LOVES to eat and she will eat anything that we put in front of her. One of her favorites is avocados. You do have to watch her closely though, because she will put ANYTHING in her mouth; bark, crayons, leaves, feathers, etc. Her new trick is standing and she is getting close to doing it without holding on to something. She has a love for water, she loves swimming in Grandma and Grandpas pool and taking baths with Caleb. Tommy and I had so much fun watching and listening to Caleb play with Bailey last night. He was running around the couch and hiding from her. Bailey was laughing so hard, as was Caleb. It is so adorable to see these two together. They love each other so much, Caleb is so ansy for her to start walking so they can really play together and I can't wait for that milestone either. We are so blessed to have our little Princess, we love you Bailey!!

The Hogle Zoo

We bought a pass to the Hogle Zoo and took the kids on Saturday. Caleb and Bailey loved looking at all the animals. It was nice knowing that we had a pass so we didn't feel like we had to see everything and do everything in one stop. What we didn't get to see this time, we will get to see next time. Kinda nice. It was suprisingly not too hot either. It was a great day to see the animals. They were all very playful, which made it very fun for the kids. We can't wait to be able to take the kids back and enjoy another adventure at the zoo.

Strawberry Days

We took the kids to the Strawberry Days Carnival and once again had a blast!

7 Years and Still Going Strong

June 15th, 2001
Can't believe it has been 7 years and what an amazing 7 years it has been. Thanks for keeping all those promises you made to me 7 years ago sweetheart. I love you so much and look forward to many more years and many more memories with you. I love you!!!

Parade and Fireworks

Saturday was a busier day then I had planned. I painted in Caleb's room and thought it would be a quick thing but it turned into a longer process then expected. However, we were still able to enjoy a fun night finishing off the Summerfest with the annual parade and fireworks. Still can't believe that my mom and I were having to lay down our blankets for our usual spot on Friday morning. What next?? If it weren't for the kids...haha. Again we enjoyed a great night with my family and Caleb had a blast hanging out with some of his cousins again.

Best Buds

Carnival

We spent Friday Night with my family at the Orem Summerfest Carnival. It is a tradition we look forward to every year. Caleb was a little unsure of the rides last year but had no problem taking them all on this year. His grin was priceless! After the rides we dined on the over-priced but yummy food (and yes the $6 Texas Twister is worth every penny and I look forward to having one every year) and enjoyed the entertainment. Caleb enjoyed dancing on the benches. The kids got moves. We strolled through the booths and thanks to Aunt Heather, Caleb still is asking for a pet frog. haha. We had a great night and finally some warm weather to enjoy it in.

A Fun Afternoon

After the rain canceled a planned day at the park my best friend Lillian and I decided to take the kids to Kangaroo Zoo. We had so much fun!!! I thought it would be packed with school being out and it being a rainy day but it was not crowded at all. I had not been to Kangaroo Zoo with the kids yet, we have been to other similar places. I was quite impressed with the layout of the place. It is much bigger and had more inflatables than other places I have taken the kids too and it even had a little place to "trap" the little ones in. Caleb and Mikey had a blast. I will definitely take the kids back again. Lil and I were exhausted and I only went on one slide with Caleb. Thanks for a fun afternoon Lil , it was nice to get out of the house and let the kids run around.
