More Fashions for the Larger Ladies

The two Dasias and Monica are feeling fancy in their new Friends 2B Made dresses.

The gold dress will not close in the back for Dasia or Monica. The pink and the red dresses fit great (although the red dress is really long). The pink dress also fits Tracy Turnblad.

They also got a new pair of pink panties. Dasia got a couple of new pairs of white shoes that she can stand in (they are NOT Friends 2B shoes). I will paint one of the pairs of shoes a different color (eventually).

Here's a closer look at Dasia's shoes.

Here are 3 more Friends 2B Made fashions. Dasia, Monica, and Tracy can all fit all 3 fashions. The white tee shirt that Tracy wears is from Ken.

Most of the Friend 2B Made fashions have a tag on the outside, which I find annoying.

Here is Dasia styling in the denim and pink ruffled ensemble.

This ensemble also came with a pair of pants that can be worn instead of the skirt. Unfortunately, none of these dolls can wear the pants because they are too long and too narrow. Below, Kevin Durant models the pants just so that you can see what they look like (sorry Kevin).

I saw an indicator that folks who looked at Friends 2B clothes also looked at Groovy Girls clothes, so I decided to purchase one of those outfits, as well.

Dasia can wear the blouse, but I can not pull the pants up on her legs.

I can pull the pants up on Monica's legs, but not her hips. Monica does not approve of this outfit at all.

I'm glad that there are more fashion options out there for these ladies. Now, to get rid of those tags...

Happy Labor Day - Fashions to Show

Curtis is a new arrival and he is spending his first Labor Day here.  Well, his head is a new arrival, but his body has been here for a while.  He is thrilled with his body, but he is extremely irritated at me for dressing him in this Ken fashion.

Maybe it's because the clothes and shoes do not fit quite right.  I could barely get the velcro to close on his shorts, and his shoes are too small.

He seemed a little bit more mellow with his shades on.

Meanwhile, some of the ladies wanted to show off their new Sparkle Girlz fashions.  They are from left to right:  HSM Taylor head on Liv Alexis body, Bratzillaz Sashabella Paws, Sideshow Jinx, Hispanic Perfect Body, and Milan Barbie head on Kenya body.  The Sparkle Girlz shoes are a good fit for Kenya, but they are too small for the rest of these ladies.

I knew that Curtis would have no trouble making new friends here.  He will feel even better when I get around to dressing him in comfortable attire for him.

Happy Labor Day Everyone!

Sparkle Girlz Clothes

After reading about the new Sparkle Girlz fashions on several blogs, I went to Walmart in search of cute cheap clothing for my teen dolls.  Someone had already cleared out all of the single $1.97 fashions, but there were still some Fashion Boutique packs left.  I picked up 3 of them for $8.88 each, and the ones that I purchased are pictured below.

Several Sparkle Girlz dolls were on display, both full-sized and mini.  I was almost tempted to purchase a doll.  Almost.  The Sparkle Girlz even have a cute little inexpensive car now.  I did not get a photo of that, but I did take a quick photo of some of the dolls below.

When I got home, I opened one of the packs and tried the clothes on some of my dolls, and the dolls are modeling the clothing in the photo below.  The dolls are from left to right:  HSM Sharpay, Juku Couture Kana, Calista on Super Model Bel body, Hispanic everGirl, and Flavas Kiyoni Brown.  Most of the clothes are too big for Kana, but she fits the outfit below really well.  Sharpay, Kana, and Calista can all put the Sparkle Girlz shoes on, but Sharpay can not stand in them.  The shoes are really flimsy, though, so it would be easy to cut the heels to make the shoes fit Sharpay better.  These young ladies are ready to head back to school in style!

I also got a little something for Ken.  He will have to model his some other time.

Bratz Boyz Clothes

I may not care much for the Bratz Boyz dolls, but I sure do like their clothes!  I am so happy that Dylan and friendz have so many options available, because that means that my boy dolls have the same options!

Here are some photos of some of my boys in Bratz Boyz fashions.  From left to right:  Play Sportz Dylan in his original outfit, Clawd Wolf wearing Bratz Boyz pants (way too short) and jacket, HSM Chad in Bratz Boyz shirt (pants will not fit), Bob Scout, Dave Cub Scout, Todd Brown, and Harry Potter.

Bratz Boyz clothes are also good for my little men (especially the ones that play young boys in my stories).  Pictured below from left to right:  "Deon" (Lil' Penny), Heroes in Action Barack Obama, Playmates Toys Michel Jackson (who really strenuously disagrees to being placed in these clothes), Space Jam Michael Jordan Tee Time, and my little chubby guy.

Sometimes my teen girls find the Bratz Boyz clothes useful, also.  From left to right:  Skipper, Flavas Kiyoni Brown, HSM Sharpay, Calista, Hispanic everGirl, Wee Three Friends Janet, and Flavas Tika.

Have you found any other good clothing lines for your 'tween and teen boys?

Late Gifts from Me to Me

Judging by the empty shelves, it probably would have been best if I had waited a while longer before making my trip to Toys r Us.  The week after Christmas is probably not the best time to find a huge selection.  But, I did find a few items that caught my eye.

This Nikki doll will make a lovely body donor to another doll in the near future.  Can anyone guess which doll will receive this body?  She has 2 different outfits, which is a plus!

My male dolls are always in need of more fashion options.

I don't have Operetta and I have no plans to get her, but I thought that some of my dolls would enjoy items from this fashion pack.

Nikki remains in her box for now, but I have opened the other items.  I opened the Ken fashion first and tried it on several of my male figures.  The shorts are too small for most of them.  Also, the shirt has Ken's name written on it (sneaky how they covered the name with a sleeve in the packaging), so none of my action figures want to wear it.  Below, my Texas A&M Male Cheerleader models the fashion.

Some of my other guys also wanted to model their Ken attire.  From left to right, they are:  Marlon, Denzel, Texas A&M Male Cheerleader (I'm going to have to give him a name one of these days), Terrence, and Terry.  Ok, the only Ken attire that Terry is wearing is his undershirt because that's all he can fit, but it still counts right?

Next, I opened the Operetta items and the ladies below are modeling them.  They are from left to right:  Jenna, Clawdeen Wolf, and Howleen Wolf.  The dress and necklace that Howleen wears is from Clawd Wolf's box and I had not previously removed these items.  The box states that the dress and necklace are intended for Clawd's ghoul-friend Draculaura, but she will not be joining him here.  Clawd has a new girl-fiend Sashabella Paws.

Jenna models a 2-piece outfit that includes a blouse and a skirt.  The skirt is a good fit for her Juku Couture body, but the blouse is a very tight fit.  She is wearing Barbie shoes.  The dresses that Clawdeen and Howleen wear have extremely small sleeves and none of my other dolls can wear them.  It is necessary to remove their hands in order to get the dresses on them.  Clawdeen's purse opens and closes.  Howleen is carrying Clawdeen's original purse and she is wearing Sashabella Paws' boots.

I was tempted to purchase the following items as well, but ultimately resisted the temptation.

I don't have any Moxie Girls, but this one was so cute to me with her Martial Arts attire and inexpensive price.  But because of her large head and body lacking in articulation, I had to pass.

This Bratzillaz Illiana Honesty doll appealed to me because of her articulation and because she appears to have a different skin tone than Sashabella Paws.  Her large head does not appeal to me, though.  I thought about my Sashabella Paws that I have yet to do anything with, and I decided to leave the doll below at the store.
