2 weeks

Cate was 2 weeks old yesterday! We had a great checkup at the doctor. Sister is long(90th percentile) and thin (10th percentile...and yes she eats plenty!) .( I'm checking to make sure she wasn't switched at birth!)

Well, one week later and I'm finally posting our big day! We welcomed Cate into the world on Monday, November9, 2009 at 2:32 p.m. She weighed 6 lbs 10 oz and was 19.5 inches. She is so sweet and we are adjusting to our new "normal".

Carter is 2!!

My baby turned two on Sunday!! It is so much fun, and sad at the same time, watching him go from baby to little boy. He is so funny and is constantly doing something to make us laugh. We had a nice family party for him on Saturday evening. He loved all of his presents and was a really good boy, considering he didn't nap all day.

Beach Trip

We had a great trip to Orange beach last week. Cory and I got to spend two nights there and then Carter and his grandparents came for three nights. It was a lot harder to get pictures this year because he NEVER stops.

July

We've had a fun and busy July. We've visited and had visitors. If any of you haven't heard, baby #2 is a GIRL! We are excited, but mostly because she is looking healthy so far!

We enjoyed playing with all of Carter's cousisns in Laurel this weekend.

We were so thrilled to have the Trusty's come for the Fourth of July. It was pretty low key, but always great to catch up with good friends. I wasn't very successful in my picutre taking.

The water finally receded enough to get back into the camp. We had fun visiting with Uncles Mark and Mike and other family. Sunday we enjoyed cooking out with the Sabbatinis.

May Fun with Friends and Family

Let me start by saying, for those of you who don't know, we are expecting baby #2 in November and are very excited.

This is a long post, but I've been behind. This has been one RAINY month. We've tried to make the best of the few sunny days we've had. Carter enjoyed getting out and being with his friends on the boat Friday.

Carter was thoroughly entertained with his cousin Brian and thought he was such a big boy chasing him around.

Carter went to his first Day in the Park in Laurel. He enjoyed the bag toss and duck pond, but played them his own way!
