We went to Village Mall, SP just now....

Dinner at Chicken Rice Shop & bought d ice-cream from Daily Fresh..

See my contented face..... hehehe.... enjoying d ice-cream before the food arrived...

Well, I was in Selangor & KL recently...
no sewing done though I did bring my tool box....
(patut le rasa keras semcm je masa mnjahit td... hikss..)

Besides visiting my sis, shopping was on d list too...
I heard so much about Daiso(rambang mata) & Craftworld(tak jumpa pon)
so I persuaded my Cik Abe to bring me there... hehehe..
(of course, that's another story)

This book is from Daiso... It's only RM5 but very inspiring!
(cuba tgk gambar sebelah kiri bhgn atas tuh... cantik, kan?)

My first attempt....
tersilap kira so rendah le pulak.... hisks...

(kena puji diri sendiri supaya lebih bsemangat!!! cewah!)

Thus, I made another one
maybe more after this....

I hope she'll like it coz it's for her....
she's my swap partner who's going to get my handmade item..

Use them, please..

Whenever I bought bedsheets, I got the plastic bags...

Recently, I cleaned up my room

and reused them..

They are now visible in my room

like this nataria plastic bag...

or Aussino plastic bags....

or even the small plastic bags from a decor shop..

(label diskaun pon masih melekat.... hehehe...)

I put all my threads, zippers, ribbons and laces in them.

Now, I can see clearly what I have...
you know la...
everytime I searched for these items...
I'd mess up my room coz I couldn't find them...
Besides, whenever I see the colourful zippers or laces or ribbons..
I got new ideas..
(masih dlm kepala.. hehehe...)

p.s. never throw these plastic bags... they are extremely useful...

Raina's 1st Designs

I want to be hurt!

Usually, i tried easy tasks

i avoided pains caused by d pins

but today i just want to hurt myself..

so i gambled in making this hp casing aka hp pouch...

no tutorial to follow...

i just look at a sample & tried to do it myself

Fortunately, I succeeded....

the rose is for my sis, Yun...

she's in d hospital right now...

battling against cancer...

the lady in d fabric reminds me of her...

so sweet... so cute... so young...

yet she gets cancer..& she's so young...

(my heart is crying for her...)

because of her, i chose black...

all because of her...

inside it's all black!
i added two pockets in red
which are always there side by side...
i put my hubby's hp inside just now but i know it's wrong..
d owner is still waiting....
i'm still stuck here...
2 more days before i can be there
to see her, my lil sis, Yun...

i miss her
i'm praying that she'll be fine
i'm hoping so hard for her well-being
i'm wishing for her health..
so that she'll be d sis i used to know

that's why i want to hurt myself...
to feel all pains she has to endure..
sewing helps me...
i did hurt myself...
but it's nothing
compared to d pains Yun has to face..


p.s. ya Allah! help us! give us strength to overcome all obstacles.... make her healthy...please...

Back To School- Pondok Craft (Finale)

I've added two items...

Item no. 1....it's a bag

my first attempt in making this type of bag
(sempoi punye bag berani ler....hehehehe...)
and my Raina became a model too
showing off the bag...
happily...
but dissatisfied...
(sbb beg ni bkn miliknya... hikkss..)

I thought I was done
but at the last minute
I made item no. 2...
another pencil case
coz I like the fabric
So a pencil case it becomes....
the other side....
& inside....
all fabrics are from Nagoya...

I packed everything in a plastic bag
recycled from Aussino's bedsheet plastic cover
(rugi kalau buang.... mcm2 blh buat guna benda tu...)
tgk blkg lak...
ready to be posted...


This morning, I went to the post office...
cramped everything in the 'pos ekspres' box
voila, it's ready....

Hoping for its safe journey....

Back To School- Part 3

Hi everyone!

As promised, I finished the 2 pencil cases last night.

Well, I did modify the methods of attaching zippers

(ikut sedap sndiri & dipermudahkn utk beginner mcm aku...hehehe..)

Selamat menjamu mata...

my attempt on attaching zippers has improved!

p.p.s. there's one advice from me, though....
"Never be scared at zippers... coz they can't eat you... hahaha!
But be afraid of needles & pins coz they can... huhuhu... "

Back To School- Part 2

I thought I was going to be helpless for a few days...

or maybe must go back to the old-fashion way..

(jahit 100% guna tgn ler...)

but after a few times of trials & errors

I managed to nurse my sewing machine

(berpeluh gak ler)

So last night I sewed another pencil case.

However, this time I just followed my instinct

(mcm ler expert sgt.. hehehe...)

Again, after so many mistakes

(sbb ikut sodap sndiri)

I succeeded!

Phew!

This is the result....

amacam? lulus tak....

oh! I love it!

Another pencil case for Back To School Project!
I hope whoever gets this, will love it.
I know I haven't mastered the skill yet
but this pencil case is straight from my heart.
(alahai! berjiwang le pulak..hikkss..)

p.s. sengaja pilih fabric ni sbb so sweet.... aku suka...Raina pon suka...
