whee! what a fun time last night! haha... reached the Grand Copthorne at 6.50pm with desmond, went to the reception, mingled about. then dinner, and table games. soem teachers were called out to the stage to give us a performance, and mssrs chng, tan chee wei, salleh, wong boon piao and (sorry, i cant rmbr) got picked. they were asked to give a rock consert, and they played Guns 'n Roses, one of the songs. haha. mr chng was dancing up and down, doing the base. they way he jumped really gives credence to his "Past Rocker" rumour. HAHA. mr salleh was the guitarist while mr tan was the singer. hahaha... damn funny. then after that had the Best Dressed guy thing. desmond was one of them that was picked, and the catwalk he did was fantastic. HAHAAHA. hmm... the thing ended at 11pm, but most of us 4E1 stayed back, took a class photo was mr lak and ms nura. took photos with mr ng, a lot of friends, mr lak, ms nura etc. mrs fernandez left early, so couldnt take with her. asked the teachers to autograph in my yearbook too. ahh. wish i could relive the night. ahhahaha.sorry - pictures will be uploaded at a later time.

woah... today went to SJI in the morning. left house at 9.40am. reached there at abt 10.05am. went to LT3 for the last and final LLTC 2007 OT meeting. nominated the people that we wanted as facils for the next one. roth was not there, as he had to do some stuff, so it was left with me to nominate the ppl from my group. had to go out in front and tell the OT why they should become facils next year. meeting ended at about 1.10pm. went to plaza singapura food court to have lunch with the rest. mixture of both st pats and sji guys. to hell with chemistry tuition(for now) haha. quite fun when we go out together... some of the rest wanted to watch harry potter, but as i've already watched it twice(once on thursday and the other yesterday), decided to go home after that. went home, slept and did a little studying, then went for tuition at orchard. came back at 8pm, ate dinner, studied and watched tv. will be going to sleep soon. nitez."There's a storm coming Harry, and we'd all best be prepared." - Hagrid, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix(movie)

whoa! cool! just came back from LLTC 2007 about 2 hours ago... so tired. was the main facil for the group Kevin! it rocks man! haha... my co-facil was roth, the SJI head prefect... about 7 hours since camp ended and i already miss my group! haha... they were such a FUN lot. haha....
day 1, monday
went to SJI at about 7am. the participants separated into groups and stuff, and found out that joel yee, nathaniel leong, kenneth lim, nicholas loo, senthilkumar, terence lim, from SJI were in my group... the st pats guys that were supposed to be in my group was shawn huang, lee min jie, bryan sng and ebenezer lim... shawn huang didnt turn up for the camp... anw, had ice breakers then the walk the talk. had to walk from SJI to st pats. me and roth followed the group for walk the talk... we walked from SJI to newton then to farrer park then to kallang thru balestier rd and down thru guillemard rd and then thru tanjong katong to east coast road. from there, walked straight down to st pats... had lunch and then 7 habits.... during the station games, it rained, so continued in the classrooms.. after dinner, had a talk about La Salle... and then reflection and group time then the participants went to sleep at about 11.45pm. we facils had a debriefing till about 12.45am. after that, bathed, brushed teeth and slept in the facil room at abt 2am.
day 2, tuesday
roth took the group for the morning run, so i slept in till about 7.15am. the groups had come back for their showers. so showered, brushed teeth and had breakfast with the group. after that, had a talk by kenny... then had the 7 habits. sat in with my group. kept drifting off... haha... so was my group... haha. then had lunch... axel didnt bring his track pants cos his group was going for ropes course, so lent mine to him... my group went to dragon boat after lunch. quite fun. spent the time splashing about and stuff. when we finished, the bus still hadn't arrived yet so we played some game fillers with the participants. then we got back and played a few more games then showered. after that, the facils, including me, who were taking part in the heritage play went to to heritage hall to have a final full dress rehearsal while the other facils and LYNKsters helped out for dinner for the participants... during the play, it went quite well, and then i suddenly blanked out halfway singing... haha... a little obvious... argh! haha... but overall kenny said it was quite good... the play ended at about 10pm, and the facils went to eat dinner while the participants had reflections... roth left that night as he had to go off... after that, had supper and did group reflection. after that, went to the secetariat and read the group's journals and stuff then at 12am, had the day debriefing then bathed and went to sleep at about 1.45am.
day 3, wednesday
woke up at 6am. went to wake up my group... was raining, so we did the indoor route for the morning run. after that, the groups had showers and breakfast. ate with my group again. during the session of Our Social Realitites for the participants, went to bathe with the other facils. when they went for the 7 habits, went to the facil room to prepare for that night's reflection session for the participants. was in charge of that particular reflection session as i was in the reflection sub-committee.. then had a hurried lunch with my group and took a bus to the ITE simei. while waiting for the groups to finish, went with lennon, joseph, mark and a few others to play soccer at the street soccer court, which was just beside the ropes course place. then went back to my group... while they were doing the leap of faith thing, they forced me to do it after they finished it... haha.. quite fun. well, t'wasnt that bad as i had done it before in ATF... haha... when we went back to sch, the group went for showers and had community time. spent some time with them. they all wanted to know about the 'fast food' that was stated in the timetable for later that day for dinner... haha... told them it was macs... haha... they didnt believe... anw, during the community time, joined with lennon's group to play some games outside the DNT block... on the way back, they passed the home econs room and saw the pots containing the porridge that they were gonna eat later... haha.. so sad.. surprise lost liao... so later when they went to the band square for the 'fast food', they weren't too surprised to see that they were having porridge for dinner... purpose of the whole thing was to show them that not everybody is as lucky or as priviledged as us to have 3 full meals everyday and to know when we'll eat the next time... the group didnt take it too well... haha... said some vulgar things.... then they went to the hall and had a talk by eric about Lasallian Spirituality. aftre that, i had my reflection session witht the participants.. went ok... tho first part a little screwed up... haha... but overall went quite ok... after supper, did group review with my group in their room. while debriefing them about the day and their actions, nearly cried cos of the stupid stuff they did... haha.. after that, at about 11.45pm, when it was lights out for the participants, went to the secetariat to read my group's journal. after that, had day debriefing by kenny again then went to sleep.
day 4, thursday
woke up later than usual, at about 7am. the group had showers and stuff then had brekafast. after photo taking, went for Journey With A Dream. went to the st luke's home at tampines. took out some old folks on wheelchairs to tampines mall. walked about and stuff, and had lunch with them at the food court there. after the thing, took a 31 back to sch. had a bit of rest time then had the Journey debriefing at the hall... the particpipants were split whereby each member of each group had a number, from 1 to 12. all the 1s would form a circle and so on. went to join group 3... quite a nice discussion we had. after that, the groups had showers and community time. and then dinner... during their dinner time, was helping gabriel, lennon and joseph with the setting up of stuff for the Solidarity Lasalliana. after dinner, the paricipants went on a tour of the sch, passing by facils acting as poor, dying and abused, showing a few of the social realities out there. wasnt involved in the acting, so i joined my group as they walked.. quite interesting. the route ended at the hall, where there was a presentation and some food laid out on banana leaves. first, there was bittergourd, to remind us of the unpleasant memories. then there was the lime, then rice and finally rock sugar. hmm... lazy to expaling what they all symbolise... haha... refer to my last year's post on LLTC, when i was a participant... i think i wrote it all down. anw, after the Solidarity Lasalliana, there was affirmations and then supper and then lights out after some group time. oh yeah, roth came back during the affirmations, and roth and i did a reflection/group review with the group. last night liao, so it was a little long... then after lights out, had a debriefing with kenny. then we bathed and went to sleep. slept at about 3am.
day 5, friday
woke up at 6plus, went with roth and ran with the group for morning PT. ran at eastcoast parkway. then we had showers and breakfast. then had a talk on Lasallian Leadership by brother mike. was so tired, so went to the facils room and slept all the way till lunch, while the particpants had their 7 habits talk and the Lasallian Award briefing... had lunch witht the group, then had are cleaning and packing up. then went to the heritage room for one last time. had the mega summary, where they showed us pictures of the events during the camps and a talk by kenny and then a camp evaluation. then had the commissioning and closing at the chapel square. we all had to read out our personal mission statement to our group and then pour some water into a huge bowl of water, symbolising all our experiences shared and joined. then the brothers pinned the Lasallian collar badge on the participants and then we said goodbye and the we facils went to the heritage room. as the participants got their bags and left, we all sang goodbye and some other stuff. after the participants left, we facils had to clean up the area, pack up the classrooms and then went to the heritage hall. there was a buffet for us, started dinner at 8pm, and at 8.30pm had a final debriefing with kenny on the camp. ended at 10pm. took a cab home with marcus seetoh and edmund. reached at 10.30pm plus. bathed, watched tv then went to sleep.

well.. this week monday to wednesday had NP unit camp... went quite well... monday morning cycled from sch to parkway, quite fun... haha.. tuesday edmund, dickson, jason and i had to go with the cadets to dragon boat at kallang.. sec 1s a bit blur. wednesday ok.... thursday and friday went to sch in the morning for lessons... stayed back after that.... trying to DSA to TJC... hope i can make it... monday gotta get my cca record and stuff... tmrw gotta bring dog to see vet cos of his eye. troublesome. anw, i dun give up that easily. haha...(different matter)... went for chemistry tuition this afternoon after a meeting at sch for NP NCO camp next week. tired now. spent the evening watching tv. will be sleeping soon. why do i always lose out?"Chance is irrelevant. yesterday went out with my cousins and gran... met them at granny's place at about 12pm... had a sandwich there for lunch... then we took a bus to aljunied mrt then went to city hall... bought the 3.30pm show for shrek 3 at the cinema then walked about carrefour and the shops... was talking to gerald about the army and stuff... he was a medic... haha... i wanna go to JC then to university, then join the army as a medical officer... he says that they will go straight to OCS... hmm.. anw, shrek 3 was quite a funny show, entertaining... the show lasted only about an hour and a half only though... after that, went to raffles city to have dinner of pizza... then walked about, and when granny was tired, went back to her place. played about, took photos and stuff, then left at about 9pm. reached home, watched ocean's eleven then slept. was so tired that i missed yesterday's post in my diary... will have to fill it up later. today went to sch... for lunch had some five star chicken rice at east coast road... the lessons ended at about 4pm, then went to plaza singapura with dickson and tilak. met dickson's family there, and went with dickson's brother to watch pirates of the carribean again while dickson's parents went to shop. damn stupid... i wasted $1.50, cos i bought peanuts, and when i took them out of my bag near the end of the show, the cover came out and everything spilled out... could only salvage those that fell into my bag... after the show, bought a new box of peanuts, then as tilak needed to go to SMU, so we showed him the way and then i took mrt straight back home to potong pasir... reached at about 9pm. bathed, studied a bit and watched tv... will be going up soon..."It's nothing personal, Jack. whoa... these hols also will not be like holiday at all... this week and whole of next wekk have lessons... on top of that, next week also got NP camp... will have both NCo camp and unit camp..., then fourth week whole week taken up by LLTC... anw, last saturday went to ms nura's wedding... left house at 5.40pm like that... met the rest at bedok mrt station... after visiting ms nura, we went to play lan at a nearby gaming shop... was so fun... haha... havent really played CS for about a year already... last year i rmbr i was addicted to the game... haha... want to play it again! haha... anw, by the time i reached home on sat was 11.40pm plus... slept at 2am... anw, on monday had the chinese o levels.. it was quite ok... i think i can pass... haha.. after that went out with clement, royston and sarah. went to eat lunch and watch Pirates of the carribean... yesterday went to NUS in the morning for the maths olympiad, then went back to sch for lessons... had pizza hut for lunch with james kong, edouard, ivan, robin, dickson, bryan yeong and gabriel... today also had lessons... hey... past week wasnt too bad...... yesterday asked her out on monday after mt o levels... was ok.... now nervous... both looking forward to and not looking forward to monday... not looking forward cos of the mt exam... haha... hope i can pass... anw, will be going out with her, axel, clement and most likely royston... the past week had intensive mother tongue lessons... everyday had at least 6 periods of it... then had chinese tuition too... haha... so tired... tmrw got 4 hours of chem tuition... haha... then after that will be going to miss nura's wedding... now watching tv... think i'm gonna sleep soon...."Wandering around at midnight, ickle Firsties? i need to blog more often... the last few weeks was so busy... exams came by and went past... chinese o levels in less than two weeks... got back my results for the mid years... not very good... L1R5 only 12... A1s for English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.... B3 for E Maths, D7 for Chinese and F9 for A Maths.... haha... not very good in all... i wanna go to TJC next year... with these kind of results cant even go there if i use the JAE... anw, yesterday evening went to church for Ascension Mass... met gabriel sng there... after mass went back with him to potong pasir mrt... went to the bubble tea shop then took a slow walk home... didnt want to go home so early and be forced to study.... today had the jogathon... went to bedok reservoir... did prefect duty... didnt need to run... haha.. after that went to long john silver's at bedok with marcus chua, jethro, edmund, tilak and bryan yeong... went back after that... oh yeah, last week went out with bryan yeong, james tan, nigel, ivan, tilak, dickson, jerry, jeremy(jerry's brother), robin, thaddaeus and weng to watch spiderman 3... it was quite a nice show... it has quite nice quotes... haha... getting quite lazy to blog... haha... anw, today went to James Tan's dad's funeral after school... was quite sad... funerals really bring you down to eart and makes you really realize that you're not gonna be here forever... that one day your mortality will also surpass you... always treasure every moment you have... every month, week, day, hour, minute, second, moment is IMPORTANT. never ever take anything for granted, cos one day it may be snatched away from you... the funeral really remided me of my popo's funeral just about 4 months back... i have really vivd memories of that... haha... i hope James is ok... today in RME lesson we had a class on grief... there are 5 stages to grief... first, denial... then anger, then bargaining, then depression and mood swings and then finally acceptance... i think i skipped the second and third stage when my popo died... haha... it's so sad for James' family... his dad was only about 61years... that's relatively young... said a decade of the rosary when the coffin of James' dad was rolling into the furnace... hopeit'll help... anw, friday is sports day... will be so busy... got a lot of logistic work to do... maybe i'll stay over tmrw night in sch with the rest to help out...."Half our life is spent trying to find something to do with the time we have rushed through life trying to save." - Will Rogers

the intervals in which i blog are getting longer and longer... haha... anw.. on monday was the school investiture, and we were invested... dickson of course got the Head Prefect badge and kali and i got the Assistant Head badge... it's just a normal prefect badge, just that it says ASST HEAD above the prefect's crest... oh, and it's gold too... haha... the rest of the week passed by in a flash.... i cant even find time to use the com! supposed to study a MINIMUM, mind you, MINIMUM of 30 hours a week..... theoratically, on my schedule, i study 33 hours a week... but in practice, i'm sure i study much less than that... haha... bio SPA next week... on nutrition.... haiz.... the days are really flashing past. sometimes i really get tired of this... non-stop... just wish i could relax and just FORGET THE WORLD! hahaa..."He felt that his whole life was some kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it." - Douglas Adams

long time no blog! haha... anw, so much has been happening since the last entries... first, was chosen to go for the NPCC Day parade, gonna march and stuff at Home Team Academy, so ulu. then there's the investiture on monday... gonna get my Asst Head Prefect badge and stuff then.... dickon became the Head Prefect.... there was also the making of the prefects' t-shirt... took quite a lot of time... haha... quite a lot of inertia.... haha... sometimes my fault too... haha... anw... dont have time to blog already... been keeping a personal diary since two weeks ago... better cos i cant get on the com so often now.... seriousy, the last time i used the com was the last time i blogged... haha... busy week...last friday, 9th of march, stayed in sch whole day... went out for lunch after mr brendan lee's breifing at siglap macs, then came back to sch... stayed in sch to help out in the sec1 meet the parents till about 10 plus... mr brendan lee provided us supper, canadian pizza... haha... by the time reached home was 11pm... watched survivor then went to sleep.
saturday, 10th of march, woke up at about 6am plus.. got ready, then went to sch... changed to full np u, then had to do carpark duty(road marshalling) for the sec 4 meet the parents session... got some masking tape and marked out for carpark lots in the chapel square the the one next to the science block. daddy had a talk with ms nura and stuff, the came back home at about 11am... spent the afternoon at home studying... mummy and daddy left for kuala lumpur at about 11pm.
sunday, 11th of march... spent the whole day at home... worked out in the morning, then did some work till about 1plus... then went for tuition at orchard... came back at about 5.30pm. mummy and daddy came back at about 1am... i went to sleep at 11plus pm..
monday, 12th of march... woke up early, went to sch for bio and maths. ended at about 1pm... went to parkway with edmund and dickson to eat lunch. met axel and then went to still road as axel and dickson had to meet mrs fernandez to go to fairfeild sec for the debating competition... went to marine parade library, then took a 197 to lavender mrt station. waited for jia hao for about an hour plus... studied while waiting... when he came, went to the army market to buy some knives for presents... after that, went home and then to tuition.
tuesday, 13th of march, woke up early again, went to sch for bio SPA(School-based Practical Asesesment for O Level)... was quite ok... after that had maths. went out for lunch with jerry, tilak, edmund, bryan yeong, bryan lim and dickson at parkway banquet. went back home after eating.
wednesday. 14th of march. woke up at 6.15am. daddy fetched me to changi jetty... met michael, mark lim, christopher and mr lim there. waited for the rest of the group. but when Chung Cheng High Yishun came and went to take the bumboat to pulau ubin, the Area Commandant suddenly came to mr lim and asked him to send one st pats boy to follow him... then the rest sabo-ed me to follow him... took the bumboat with the AC and CCHY.... when we reached the jetty at ubin, waited for the rest of the schs. when CCHY and broadrick came, we went with them to the NPCC Campsite... spent the whole day there. did tunneling solo, flying fox and the 'leap of faith', where you had to climb a small pole about 1 and a half storeys high and jump to a trapeze bar about a metre in front.... did the flying fox twice as we were odd numbered and the flying fox had to go as a pair... started raining at about 3.30pm, so waited at a pavillion for the rain to stop... then hiked back to the jetty... took a boat back to changi jetty... was released from there.... went to subway... ate, then took a bus 2 to tanah merah mrt station and then went to aljunied, where mummy picked me up... went back home...
today, thursday, 15th of march. in the morning went out for breakfast with daddy, then studied. went out with my bro for a while to bowl then went back home... now bored.... too bad i cant go for desmond's party tonight.... really want to go...

heyhey... the venture forth day camp is quite interesting... yesterday went through goal setting and conquering the final lap.... today did something about career... also did a personality test.... found out that i'm a type z personality, the so called 'correct/perfectionist' personality. my scores were: 40 for type w('commanding' personality), 29 for type x('charismatic' personality), 40 again for type y('considerate' personality) and 41 for type z('correct' personality)... haha... so by moderation you could say that i have a one-third 'commanding', one-third 'considerate' and one-third 'correct' personality... haha... many of the descriptions of the 'considerate' and 'correct' fit me... and i'm definitely not a 'charismatic personality' person.... haha... anw, the sec 3s will be coming back from taman negara tmrw... tmrw will also have the sec 1 meet the parents session... have to do prefect duty... am the ic for the prefects... gotta wear blazers and everything... then sat got the sec 4(our) meet the parent session... think both my mum and dad are going.... hope it goes well.... haha... ok, that's it for now.... cya later..."Course Dumbledore trusts you. cool week.... today the sec 3s not present cos yesterday they left for taman negara... they'll be coming back on friday morning... then the sec 2s are going off to camp chirstine till thursday... the sec 1s will have some enrichment course by the peer leaders and we sec 4s will have the venture forth camp.... today my class went with 4T1 and 4E2 to the Catholic Archdiocesan Youth Centre... had a talk by Father Simon Pereira... about goals and how we can achieve them and also about changing our lives.... spent the whole day there.... had a break at 12pm for lunch, then went back in to the hall for part 2... he gave us papers and told us to write down all our stuff about ourselves that we wanted to change, then we folded the papers and burnt them... the whole thing ended at about 3pm. then took a bus back to sch, then went back home. tuition tchr just called... tuition is cancelled! yay! haha... but will make up next week.... ok... gtg now... cyaz.Noli Me Tangere {Do Not Touch Me}

woah.. so full... today's the last day of chinese new year... last night went out with my cousins and relatives to dragon gate restaurant at harbourfront. had a ten course meal... came back at about 10plus. this morning, woke up at 7.30am, then went to church. after church, had breakfast at little india. had poori. then came back home for a while, then went out again to hougang to eat beef kway teow. will be going off to tuition in about 20 mins time... oh yeah, new tv just came yesterday... much better.... haha... btw, it's been so fast... the sec 3s are already going off for their taman negara adventure camp.... seems that it was only last week that class3E1 of 2006 went... woah. time passes so fast... now it's been more than a year since we went... hope the sec 3s will have as much fun as we did! haha... hmm.... think i'll get ready now.... cyaz...Valeur et Discipline {Bravery and Discipline}

so long i havent been posting... well... the last two weeks were ok... past week my bro has been having some problems... had tohelp him out... have to prepare for the Head/Asst. Head interviews soon... next week got some career courses/day camp and stuff... today just came back from church... had youthcafe and discussing about our service project... was selected to be in the planning committee... woah... so much stuff to do... oh yeah, last night, tv died. so cannot watch till we get a new one.... gonna miss survivor tonight... so sad... haha. anws, hope to blog soon.... cyaz.."Japan is a place with a lot of natural disasters.... tsunamis, earthquakes.... SWEET 16 TODAY!
haha.... had quite a fun day today...
last night had a quarrel with my mom... she was like, shouting all over the place. take out her anger on me... shouted back. was damn angry. lost control of myself.... went to sleep early.
this morning woke up at about 5.55am. changed, then went to sch. at about 7.40am, went with the thcr convoy to blk 15 marine terrace... picked up the old folks then went back to sch. watched the lion dance. lions played with the tchrs and the old folks... haha... one of them tried to get mrs ong lay suan's bag... haha.. quite funny. then helped the old folks to the hall. watched the concert with them.... chatted with one of the old ladies. she was quite nice... she was peranakan, had a son who was ab ex-patrician, had a multi-racial family, her mom was peranakan while her dad was european.... had quite an interesting chat. she reminded me of my own grandmum.... after the concert, helped them down to the canteen for the reception. served them and stuff... when the bus came, we joined them and fetched them home. gave them their goodie bags and stuff... took the bus back. settled some stuff, then at about 12.30pm, went out with axel, edmund, desmond and dickson to tampines to collect dickson's specs then went to somerset. wanted to eat at the n.y.d.c there. but decided not to, as it was open air. so went to the n.y.d.c at wheelock place. ordered quite a lot of food. jerry joined us later... then soo lik came. the bill came to S$150.91... i paid about two-thirds of it... the rest, the others helped to pay... after eating, at about 3.30pm, left for the civil service club at farrer park. just missed seeing mr choong there. played 2 games... 4.50pm, finished, then we went back home. it was a GREAT day. came back home, bathed, opened presents. got a star shaped bottle filled with coloured sand from royston, gabriel and martin. then got a planner from axel. got a billabong bag and the harry potter POA dvd from bryan yeong, desmond, edmund, tilak, soolik, nigel and dickson... THANKS, GUYS! thanks for making my birthday a great day and a REALLY fun day! when my mum came back, ate dinner, then went out with my parents to mustafa and sheng siong. bought stuff and then went to eat. came back home at about 10.50pm. now watching survivor. tired... now gonna sleep soon...

so tired.... just came back from sch about 30 mins ago... on sat, was preparing for the chalet... went out to eat dinner at jacksons centre. walked home while my mum and dad went to sheng siong to buy some stuff. edmund called on the way, so diverted and went to the mrt station. picked him up, then went back home to put down his stuff and the stuff i was carrying.. as he had not eaten his dinner, went to macs at potong pasir. saw marianne and gabriel there. i didnt have much. on the way back, waited at the mrt station for bryan. went back home after that. we used the com, did hmwk, and at about 10.30pm, tilak came. continued with our work then played chess and monopoly. slept at about 1am. next morning, woke up at 5am, went downstairs to play ps2. at about 8.30, started to scrub the sweet potatos and stuff. then left at 9am with all of them to go church. bryan and tialk left then. came back at about 11am. did some chores, got ready all the stuff, then at about 12.30pm, left with edmund to go to the chalet. took a 135 to paya lebar, ate at macs, then waited at the mrt station for axel. took the train to tampines then changed to a bus 29 to go to changi village. then blew balloons and got ready everything. friends came at different times... axel, edmund, royston, gabriel, dickson, ricardo, jerry, jason, bryan yeong, james tan and a few others came... after eating, played pool at the nearby changi sailing club, then went back to the chalet... had a GREAT party. really gotta thank you guys... haha... happy birthday song in english, chinese and cow language... HAHA... thanks for the presents! everybody left around 9 plus... edmund was the only one who stayed... we packed up, then watched tv, then by the time we slept was at 12.30am. woke up this morning at 5.20am to bathe then go to sch. so tired. slept a bit through mr gill's class... luckily he didnt really scold me... haha... that's about all... btw, lil' bro! take care of yourself cheer up...Potentia Tenebras Repellendi (Power to push away the darkness)

just came back from sch... had to go for chem supp class... after the class, which ended at about 10.40am, went to parkway with bryan yeong, bryan lim, desmond, jethro, jason and dickson to eat macs. had macs, then took a 48 back with desmond and changed to NEL and took mrt back home. yesterday went for the victoria school investiture. got no good comments about them. had sch in the morning, then watched the sec 4s getting their results. top guy got only 7 points. after that, went to the prefects room with edmund, jason and dickson to do hmwk. did half of the english compo. at about 4.30pm, edmund and i went to bathe at one of the sch's toilets. then changed to formal wear and went to parkway to meet fredric. met him at macs, ate dinner there, then took a 76 to victoria. saw the kc group just as we left. the vs investiture was ok... guest of honour was some lieutenant from the SAF who went to Sandhurst. i wanna go there next time... haha... anw, after the investiture, we went back home. took a 31 back with edmund and then took mrt back. reached home at about 10pm. bathed, watched tv, then slept.

so much has been happening! for the debates(the TJC U16 Invitationals), we went for the semi finals on friday. we lost to hwa chong by half a point! the adjudicators said it was a close fight. but it was good, as we were a 'C' division team while they were a 'A' division team. this shows that they are BAD! hahaa... anw, by the points system, we got third, while RI got fourth! haha. we beat RI! it was good. anw, we watched the finals between Paya Lebar Methodist Girls Schhol and hwa chong on the motion ' This House regrets the rise of religious faith'. halfway through, went out with axel to help him... anw, PL MGS won. that good. then today, did flag day for the Singapore Disability Sports Council. went with dickson and jason. took a 36 to orchard, wheelock place. saw so many ppl collecting for the same charity. so walked down orchard road to dhoby ghaut. there were still so many ppl there, so continued walking to city hall. then we went to suntec. finally stopped at bugis. i collected about half a can or more... after we finished, about 2.15pm, went to starbucks to have coffee and a rest. took a bus 12 back to sch. then went to parkway to have ice cream, then went to plaza singapura to meet with axel and keith to buy presents. left at about 5.45pm. went back home, exercised, bathed, now eating dinner and resting.Death be not proud, though some have called thee

i'm short of sleep! haha... calculated... i slept an average of 4 hours every night for the past week. only last night slept for about 8 hours. so a total of 32 hours. but i'm supposed to sleep an average of 6 hours per night. so therefore i'm short of 10 hours of sleep! haha... anw, yesterday supposed to meet axel at 6.50am so that his mum could fetch us to TJC. instead, i woke up at 6.55am! rushed to get ready. called axel and told him that i just woke up and not necessary to pick me up... but in the end, his mmum came to potong pasir to pick me up at 7.20am. she drove us to TJC. had the preparation, then went for the debates. first was the proposition for the THBT Democracy is an Illusion against maris stella high. we won. i was the second speaker. was quite nervous, i think i did quite ok... then dickson's team went for the opp against pasir ris sec. they won. so we moved on to the quarter finals. during the lunch break went to bedok interchange to eat lunch. had kfc. axel treated me. that makes two. i need to treat him back again soon. anw, went back, got the impromtu motion of THBT racial quotas in GRCs should be abolished. caleb, brandon and dickson were to be the speakers. axel and i were to be the reserves and help them for their reply speech. we went against St Anthony's convent. in the end, after all the debates, we won again. so we're gonna move on to the semi finals next friday. after the thing, dickson went over to the SAC girls to shake hands, but ended up getting their numbers. such a flirt. haha. anw, after everything, axel's mum came again to fetch edmund and i. sropped off at dhoby ghaut stationa dn took mrt back. had dinner and quite a fun night. now on to today. had quite a boring day. woke up, ate breakfast, went to toa payoh with my mum. went to popular to buy stationary ans stuff, then went to buy things for the 11th of feb. came back, ate lunch, wanted to read the papers, but mummy suggested that we got to changi to check out the chalet. so at about 12.45pm we left. the chalet was quite ok. went straight to tuition after that. reached at about 2.20pm. discussed with edmund about tmrw's motion of THW negotiate with terrorists. we're gonna be the opp. after tuition went to popo's place. had dinner, then came back at about 7.30pm. walked the dog, then read the papers. gonna do my work soon."Do not marry the one you can live with, marry the one you cannot live without. tired. last night slept at 1am. had to do history hmwk. source based and mind map. woke up this morning at about 5.30am. 4 and a half hours of sleep. went to sch. after sch had a small meeting with mr lim about npcc, concerning our badges and stuff. SANA project about drugs and the like. after that, prepared for the debate. when the NJC ppl came, we had a sort of mock debate. finished at 6.30pm. was raining. went to 7-11 to buy dinner. took a 31 with edmund and dickson. on the bus found out that i had left my umbrella at 7-11. so had to walk in the rain to church after i dropped off. had a session about "being plugged in". how do we lead our lives and stuff. the session ended at about 8.40pm. took a bus home, reached at about 9.05am. did a bit of exercise then bathed. watched tv about the USS Ronald Reagan, a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, on NGC. tired. tmrw got the debate competition at Temasek JC. gotta practice more of my speech. hope that i dun screw things up...."It's an acquired taste." - Captain Kathryn Janeway

woah. so busy nowadays. whole week packed. last sat went to SRJC to view other schs debate. saw the CHIJ St. Nick's team that took part in The Arena there. they debated on the motion "THBT the age of the printed page is over". was quite good, but in the end, they lost to VJC. came back at about 6.30pm. at 7pm, went for tuition at orchard. ended at 9.30pm. took a 36 to sch. reached there, slacked, helped out in the sec 1 orientation camp, then went home on sunday at about 11.30am. went out for lunch with granny, then went for tuition. yesterday had to stay back till about 7pm for practice on the debate that we're gonna have at TJC. Motion is "THBT(This House Believes That) Democracy is an Illusion". just finished preparing my speech as best as i can. i'll be the 2nd speaker of the proposition team. tmrw gonna have a mock debate with the opposition team that we're sending, namely, dickson, axel and caleb. then today had to stay back for prefects. the EXCO had to meet with the tchrs in charge of sports day as the prefects will be running the show. came back at about 4pm. went for tuition at 6pm. all the way to 9pm. tmrw got NPCC training. after that got the mock debate. on thurs gotta stay back for maths and physics. then friday got to practice for debate again. sat got the debate at TJC. so tired. but i gotta admit, SO FUN!"Things are only impossible until they're not." - Captain Jean-Luc Picard

today woke up at about 5.40am. got ready, then went to sch. had sch till about 1.10pm, then changed to NP uniform. waited for Chee Keong. when he came at 1.40pm, took the sergeant test, then changed back to sch u with long sleeve. took a 48 with en jia and jerry to SCGS for their Prefects' Investiture 2007. wore blazer. the thing started at about 3.10pm. they had a ceremony where all the prefects went up to the stage to collect their badges and stuff. had a talk by a former Head Prefect of the sch. the show they put up was quite nice. about "Ohana" or Family. about the Prefects being one big family and how family is important. after the show, went down to the reception. supposed to mix around, but because of en jia's attitude, lost my mood. got really fed up with him. en jia was like "eh, you exco should do it. everything you must do." was so irritated. then james tan went MIA. dunno what happened to him. one moment he was following me, then the next he was gone. looked around for him but didnt find him. fed up. in the end, we left without getting any contacts for future liasons with SCGS or anything. what a waste."Do not get confused between a man who leads and a leader." - King Arthur Pendragon

today went for some debate thingy at SRJC. quite ok... came back at about 5pm. i hate ppl who waffle and avoid the question being asked to them. then in the end, they give some crap answer that doesnt even answer the bloody question. you know who you are. there's also another thing that i dont like about myself. i always give chances, even when a person has done me wrong a great number of times. always. even when i dont want to continue on. it's just like, just give him/her one more chance. just one more. just one more. hate it. anw, on a lighter note, to continue on the CHINA trip...31st December 2006 - Sunday

in Victory Hotel in the old colonial part of Guang Zhou(Sha Mian Island) right now. last night left the 7th Heaven cafe at about 7.20pm. went to the West Street, the main shopping street(the one where we stayed at the first night in Yang Shuo). chehcheh and i had our faces painted onto shirts. mine doesnt really look like me. it cost about 30RMB. after getting the shirts, went back to the Oversea Chinese Hotel to collect our luggage. after resting a while there, went to the Holiday Paradise Travel Agency, where they took us to the bus. we had a sleeper bus. the bus had beds instead of chairs. 2 levels, like bunk beds, and 3 rows of them. boarded the bus at about 8.55pm. journey was really eventful except for the man behind us, who snored so loudly. reached Guang Zhou at about 6.15am. took taxi to Victory Hotel. gonna take a bath now.

in macs right now. left the hotel at about 9aqm. walked about, saw the pet market, then went to breakfast of dim sum at Lian Xiang Lou, a quite famous place. then we shopped a bit. now resting and toilet break. gonna go shop again then go for lunch afterwards.

gonna sleep after this. after the last post, left macs, then went on shopping. bought quite a lot of stuff. went for lunch at a local place along Di Shi Bu Lu(10th walkway/street), the same street that we shopped on. the street is very long. had lunch of won tan mee, beef noodles, chee cheong fan, red bean paste. after lunch, which was at about 3pm, went on shopping on the way back to the hotel. reached the hotel at about 4pm. rested, slept, watched tv, used com till about 6.45pm, then went out again. took a bus number 1 to Bei Jing Nan Lu(Bei Jing South Road). walked down the road admiring the place. it was so crowded. it's like the orchard road of Guang Zhou. had dinner at another local restaurant. dinner consisted of chicken porridge, beef kway teow, some rice with meat and vegeatbles and some chinese eggnog. walked back, bought chehcheh's shoes(finally), then took a bus back to hotel. reached at 11.10pm. went to granny's suite to celebrate the New Year. ate fruits and moon ckae. watched tv then went back to charge phone, bathe and use com. internet broadband is free. spent the first hour of 2007 in the toilet and in front of the co. haha

woke up late at 8.45am this morning. had breakfast at the new Victory Hotel annex. after eating, went to check on the rates of the rooms in the new annex. found out that our rooms were more expensive because we're staying in Deluxe Rooms. walked around Sha Mian Island, so colonial. quite a nice place. it had a very nice, European atmosphere. the buildings were all so British style. saw the cannons that the Brits installed on the island. then went back to hotel for about 20 mins for toilet and rest. walked down to the restaurant Dai Thong for lunch again but this time at the dim sum part. had quite a lot of dim sum there. cannot rmbr cos we ate so much! haha. after eating, took a bus and a train to Liu Hua bus station. took the 4.15pm bus to Fo Shan. thought it was a small village/town, but it turned out to be so modern. seems that our perceptions of China is so backward. hahaha. walked around. went to the temple, the main attraction fo the city, but it was going to close and we had to pay for entrance, so we did not enter. then walked back. went to Bai Hua Plaza(White Flower Plaza). rested at the KFC there. ate a bit, then walked back to the bus station and took a bus back to Guang Zhou. reached Guang Zhou at about 7.35pm. took a train to Chang Shou Lu. shopped all the way back. by the time reached back at the hotel was at 10.45pm. went to toilet, packe bag, used the com, bathed, now gonna sleep. got a totally blocked nose. hope it will clear tmrw.

just boarded TR989. full flight tonight. have to sleep cos tmrw got sch. this morning woke up at 8.15am. bathed, then went out for breakfast. had won tan mee at a local place near Shang Xia Jiu Lu(Up Down 9 Road... i think. at least, that's the direct translation of the road name.haha) then walked down the road toward the Tan family temple/ancestor house. passed the jade market along the way. bought souvenirs for friends. didnt stay long at the temple, cos had not enough time. rested a while there then bought a chap tay and played with it for a while while eating chestnuts. took a train back. walked from the train station back to Victory Hotel. packed our shopping and stuff, then checked out at about 1.10pm. left our luggage at the concierge, then went to have lunch at Number 2 Shang Xia Jiu Lu. every restaurant's dim sum is different, although they are the same. haha. not making much sense. what i mean is, they have different styles of cooking and they taste slightly different from each other at differnent restaurants. then walked about and shopped around again. after that, walked back to Shang Xia Jiu Lu and ate again at Lian Xiang Lou. had suckling pig, fan tui, scallops, fried mee etc. Da Pao-ed 20 egg tarts to bring back home. after dinner, walked back to hotel. reached at about 7.45pm. took our bags, repacked our recent shopping, went toilet, then took taxi to the airport bus station near the China Hotel. took an airport bus for 17 yuan pax to the airport. reached at about 9.45pm. checked in, went through the customs or Frontier Checks, as they put it, and boarded the plane.
3rd January 2007 - Wednesday
the rest is history. reached back home at 3.40am. unpacked everything, bathed, then rested for 20 mins before going for school.

well, to continue my CHINA trip...29th December 2006 - Friday
11.24am
woke up at about 8.10am. bathed, changed, then went out for breakfast. had breakfast at another local place. had mee with pork. after taking a few pictures along the way, stopped at a touristy cafe called The 7th Heavn. had milk tea(too bland), hot chocolate with brandy(NICE!), banana milkshake and hot toffee with bananas. it was very nice. then we went to walk along the market. quaint. they sold animals live and cut in front of you. cool. then we came back to the hotel. now gonna pack up then change hotel. moving over to the Oversea Chinese Hotel.
11.28pm
so full now. anw, in the afternoon, after checking into the Oversea Chinese Hotel, settled in, then at about 1pm went out. bought bus tickets back to Guang Zhou for tmrw night. after that, walked to the bus station. took a bus at 15RMB pax to go to Gui Ling. was about an hour's journey there. reached there at about 2.30pm. was so suprised cos Gui Ling is so urbanized. walked down Zhong Shan Nan Lu(South Middle Mountain Road). ate at a restaurant. had dog, chicken soup, some shellfish thingy, gan wo yu(dried pot fish), mee. ate till about 4pm. went to shop down the road. bought a few sweaters and outer wear. then we walked down the road till we hit the river. it was so nice. the water was quite pristine and the walkways are quite well maintained. took a little sampan to the other side. the man punted us to the other side while we took pictures. then we followed the pathway along the river. was damn cool and great atmosphere. quite romantic, the place. the weather was just nice. temperature was at about 18 degree C. the scenery was really good. trees lined the walkway, sky was a nice blue.there was a sch(i think) along the riverside where we walked. followed the pathway till we reached another bridge, then crossed back. walked down the road till we could see the curious rock formation in the limestone hills(elephant trunk rock). bought some mata kuching(Longan like fruit) from a peddler there. then, as it was getting dark, walked back toward the bus station. walked along the riverside again(opposite bank this time). really beautiful. sun was setting, temperature was dropping. i really enjoyed it. reached the bus station and took the 7pm bus back to Yang Shuo. reached back at about 8pm. walked to a restaurant/bar called "Cloud 9". had fried squid with mixed vegetables deep fried pig's stomach and intestine served with stirred fried nuts, noodles with vegetables, beef tendon, roasted pork ribs, and banana pancake. after eating, went to the toilet. helped granny there. while waiting, went outside on the roof. the view(although it was dark) was great! could see the silhouettes of the mountains and the lights of the town were beautiful. half moon tonight. we left, then walked down the shopping road(where our previous hotel was), then bought a sesame paste(nice!) and walked back to the hotel. bought mineral water along the way. reached out rooms at about 11pm.
30th December 2006 - Saturday

now in the 7th Heaven Cafe again. this morning woke up at about 8am. by the time we left was 9.40am. went to the local place we went to two days ago for breakfast. ate the mee, then went back to hotel cos daddy, mummy and chehcheh got lao sai. left the hotel again at 10.30am. walked down to the wharf. tried to get a boat to go down to the river to Fu Li., but didnt know how to. so went ti the bus station and took a bus to Fu Li instead. walked down the main street to the river. walked past shops that made and sold fans. at the river, saw a man washing a dog's intestines in the river. then he cut off the dog's ears and threw them into the river. he washed the dog's paws next. took a tuk tuk back to the mainstreet and went back to Yang Shuo. had lunch of claypot rice and soup at another local shop. then we walked back to the hotel. went up to toilet, then checked out and left our bags at the concierge. walked back to the bus station. took a mini van to Gao Tian(High Fields). saw that it was a small place. took a few photos then went back. chartered the bus that took us there and the driver took us around. he was quite a nice guy, friendly and honest. first went to see the 'Moon Hill'(Yue Liang Shan). took pictures there, then went to some temple. had to pay to go in, so we did not. just stayed at the outside and took photos. the limestone hills around the place were nice. then we boarded the van again and went to the Gong Nong Qiao(Workers' Bridge) across the Yu Long River(Pearl River). took lots of photos there. there were rafts with ppl punting there, but it was surely to be expensive as it was a tourist place. then the bus took us down a small track along the river. quite bumpy. i didnt know a van could fit in there. anw, the place was very scenic. passed a small cemetery along the side of the river. stopped at a place near the river, then went to play about. washed hands(water was quite cold) and played witht the water:D saw a man smoking rats there to be eaten. haha. went on down the riverside. stopped at another smaller bridge, was really great. the river water was clear, the wind fresh and cold, the hills tall but not imposing, rather, they were quite a good backdrop. stopped along the way to buy some keuh tu tu like stuff(ma tee gao, according to the driver) while the driver went in to a sch to see if his daughter had gone home. then took the van back. stopped at the street near the 7th Heaven cafe and walked to it. ordered fried rice, hot chocolate, tea, mee, and hot toffee bananas.

yeah.... finally got time to do this... sch life so busy... haha... LIKE IT! anw, here's how my CHINA trip went! went with my family and granny. took a diary with me, so posts are time-lined and are from a viewpoint that i had there and then.26th December 2006 - Tuesday

wooh. plane has just taken off. experienced air pockets just now as the plane went through the level of clouds. on board TR988 to Guang Zhou. just got the immigration card from the air stewardess.. the whole immigration card is in chinese! no english! haha.
9.40pm
two and a half hours into flight. bored. trying to sleep but cant for the ppl behind, speaking so loud. in chinese too. typical chinamen! haha..
10.20pm
got this idiotic chinaman knocking on my seat. talk so loud and cant keep his hands to himself. must knock on my seat! how am i gonna sleep!? plane starting to descend already. seat belt light just came on and the stewardess announced that we're gonna have turbulance.
10.35pm
captain just announced that we will touch down in about 20mins. just passed Hong Kong a few minutes ago. temperature at Guang Zhou is about 11 degree C and slightly misty. cabin crew to prepare for arrival.
27th December 2006 - Wednesday
1.35am
landed at Bai Yun international airport in Guang Zhou at about 10.55pm. went throught the customs and everything, then took an airport bus to a station, then took a taxi to Furama Hotel(Fu Lai Hua). entered the room at about 12.45am. was like 'wow!' they had plasma tv and even a computer! and the internet rates are like 0.02RMB per minute! bathed then used the com for a while. tired. gonna sleep soon. didnt have much sleep on the plane thanks to the chinaman behind me on the plane... haha

woke up at about 8am. went for breakfast. now in the room. gonna go out soon.
7.35pm
after leaving the hotel in the morning, walked to a nearby metro station and took a train to Liu Hua bus station to buy our ticket to Gui Ling tonight. after that, took a train down to Qing Ping market. wow. they sold dried snakeskin, dried seahorse, starfish, dried centipedes rolled into bunches and lots more weird animals. haha. then we walked back. on the way back, stopped at Dai Tong restaurant for lunch. had kway teow, fried Fan Tui(pig's trotters), goose, suckling pig, wo tip(gyoza like thing) and a peanut pancake thingy. after eating, at about 1.40pm, walked back to the hotel checked out, then depositedour bags at the concierge. then we started to go to Bei Jing Lu. but on the way, saw a market selling toy stuff and chinese new year stuff and the like. so went in, bought a few stuff then went on. but we were tired, so we stopped and rested at a place called "Village Of Gruel". we tried to order a few bowls of porridge, but found out that they sold porridge only by the kg! so bought 1kg of porridge at about 38RMB, and we managed to eat it all! haha. after sufficient rest, we walked on. went to a side street that seemed to sell everything. it was in the general direction of Bei Jing Lu, so we went in. inside, saw a young boy peeing in the middle of the street. the adults didnt care. just walked and laughed on. in a matter of minutes(as it was a relatively busy street), the pee was spread everywhere by the countless wheels and feet that rolled and stepped in it. so disgusting! but, hey, we're in CHINA! haha. after doing a bit of shopping, we didnt really have time, so just stopped at a nearby macs to go toilet then we took a bus 61 to the hotel. collected our luggage, then walked to the metron station and went back to Liu Hua bus station. now waiting at the bus station for the bus that will bring us to Gui Ling.

we're on the bus and off. wow. so suprising! the chinese are unctual! haha.
28th December 2006 - Thursday
8.50am
so cold. now in the hotel room in Yang Shuo. bus dropped us off at the bus terminal at about 6.20am... bus ride was ok. managed to get about 6 hours sleep. the bus stopped every 3 hours for toilet break. at least the toilets here arent so bad as in Kazakhstan. haha. will be going off breakfast soon.
9.45pm
wooh. just came back. anw, in the morning, after taking a bath in the hotel, went to walk around. had breakfast of some sort of mee at a local outdoor hawker stall. hope dont get diarrhea. haha. but it should be ok... wind was blowing. luckily we wrapped quite warmly. walked downm the street. had some paste thingy(sesame and corn) at a shop, then continued on. bought smth that looked like ang ku kueh, but was sweet and had a nice fragrance and with sesame paste inside. shopped around, then took the 11am bus to Xing Ping. upon reaching, took a tuk tuk like vehicle to the sorta quay. then took a boat down the Li river. the scenery was really nice. mountains(limestone hills) carved out by long gone water. ranges upon ranges of them. tall, but not too intimidating, covered with trees that look almost luminous against the misty background. hmm... i think i'm getting a little too poetic... haha. then the boat stopped at a tourist trap. ppl trying to sell their wares. bought only a few stones that were carved out like fishes. fishermen and women carrying cormorants asking if we wanted to take pictures woth the birds. didnt go near them cos scared of bird flu. haha. after about 20mins, we boarded the boat again. the boat was supposed to go to Yang Di, but becuase of some crap reason the boat ppl gave, we did not(we all kana cheated). so went back to Xing Ping. walked back to the bus station. saw the village. old fashioned houses, quite quaint... on the way back, stopped at a local restaurant that sold dog, snake, pheasant and other exotic animal meats. we had chicken, yam, beerfish and fried rice. after eating, took a bus back to Yang Shuo. left at about 3.35pm. reached Yang Shuo at about 4.30pm. shopped around, went to a market that sold dog meat, saw a skinned rabbit to be fried and even a fish head that was still alive thought the body had been cut off! went to a bakery to get some biscuits and some sweets. after that, went shopping along tyhe roadside. went back to the hotel for a while to put down our stuff(they were getting heavy) then walked about again, as our hotel was on the shopping street(i cant rmbr the name) itself. went to another local restuarant, wanted to order dog, but they said that they didnt have it in winter. so sad. haha. anw, had pig's ears, some beef noodles and tendons and pig's trotters. after eating, went to a grocery store and bought mineral water and some chinese wine. then went shopping again along the streets. came back about 20 mins ago. gonna bathe soon.
11.30pm
mummy, daddy and chehcheh came in just now so we can eat fruits. finished, then they went off to their room. i'm sharing room with granny. just took a bath. i NEVER like to take baths in winter. cos you dont wanna take off your clothes cos you know it's cold. then when you're bathing in HOT water, you dont wanna stop cos you know that once you stop, you're gonna feel cold again, if not colder!(the water loses heat very fast!)haha. you have to quickly dry and put on your clothes, lest you freeze. charging phone now. i hear a dog barking. maybe it's gonna be tmrw's lunch! hahaha...
i'll stop here for now... will continue my trip in the next post. no time right now... have to go for tuition.

whoa... tmrw gonna leave already... will be back on the 3rd of jan... that's when sch starts too.. haha... will touch down back in singapore at 3am on that day... the go home, change, then leave for sch... :D haha... anw, today was quite a fun day... woke up in the morning at about 9.30am... went downstairs, brushed teeth, then ate the leftovers of the cake that i bought for my parents... watched tv, then my dad went to send the maid over to granny's place... he came back with abraham, waited for the pet ppl to pick up my dog for his stay at the dog hotel(nobody can take care of him while we're away... :D) then mummy, daddy and abraham went to toa payoh to get some fertilizers for the plants, so that they wont die while we're away... haha. used com for a while to send christmas greetings, then they came back at 1pm. got ready and changed then went to granny's place to celebrate her birthday and christmas... had chocolate cake, both log cake and birthday cake... at about 5pm, went back home... was quite tired. went to sleep. listened to music, watched tv, packed bag, then at about 9pm, went with daddy back to granny's place to pick up the maid... ate a bit there, cos missed dinner(was very full from lunch)... then went back home. packed more, put in my emergency pack and warm clothes... haha... but dont think that where we're going'll be as cold as Kazakhstan... haha... there, -5degress celsius is a WARM day! haha... usual temperature is about -20 degrees celsius in the winter! haha... went there about 4 times... luckily wont have to go there anymore cos my dad has stopped working there... haha... hope that this holiday can help me take my mind of some things... leave my stuff in singapore. forget everything. free and easy."It's not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes the difference." - Anonymous

CHRISTMAS EVE! actually, it's now christmas! haha... in the afternoon went to kongkong's place for dinner.. had hokkien mee at about 4.30pm... after that, at 6.30pm, left for granny's place... had another huge dinner there with chehchehs pricilla, phylina, and phelicia, gu chong, kohkoh, abraham, valerie, peipei, ah-m, granny and my family... great dinner... time passes so fast... every year we do this... was just thinking again about time... what are we gonna do about it? waste it? live it? follow it? watched Love Actually just now... ended about half an hour ago.. thought about my life... what is it? am i the person i wanna be? am i the person i oughtta be? or am i just a loser wasting my life away? i'm getting rhetorical... hahahaha... anw, it's christmas. haha... it's supposed to be a happy time...

woah... fun day... woke up in the morning at 8.10am... got ready, left for punggol. reached there about 10am. went to pasir ris with dickson. went swimming till about 11.50am. then went to bathe and then wanted to go to tampines to eat. instead, changed mind, then went to dhoby ghaut. went to the burger king in plaza singapura to eat. then waited for jerry to come... saw the movie timings... too late. so went to take mrt to punggol... went to dickson's house. finished up the assigning of duties and stuff... then at about 5.35pm, dickson's parents dropped jerry and me at potong pasir mrt... then they went to a relative of theirs.... saw jerry off at the mrt station, then went to bengawan solo to buy a cake for my parents for christmas... went home, then found out that my parents had just left with my sis... was really bored, listened to music and watched a bit of tv... they came back at about 7.45pm... ate dinner, then at about 8.20pm we all took mrt to city hall and went to marina square... went to the model shop and my parents bought me a 1:48 size model of the F-15 A/C Eagle... it's about 40 plus cm... wanted to buy paints for the model also, but nvm... mummy bought a british sopwith camel for herself... haha... so now my family has models of the USS Nimitz(Aircraft Carrier), a SR-71 Blackbird, F117A Stealth Fighter, F-16 D Falcon, and a few more... haha... my family is really nuts about models and stuff.... haha. anw, after we went to the model shop, went to secret recipe to eat cake... haha... then went to giant... bought some cherries and oranges, then went back home. came back about 11.30pm... but still not tired... i think i'll sleep quite late tonight... hahaHe who receives a benefit should never forget it; he who bestow should never remember it.

today was the sec 1 induction day... woke up in the morning at about 6.15am(late), then hurried about and left for sch... reacehd around 0715H. went in, had a briefing and then deployed to the backgate with dickson... stood there greeting the parents and ppl, then at about 0930H, went back to the canteen... ate there, then went to the heritage room... everybody playing about with lame jokes... hahaha... devesh was damn pissed off... haha. then went back to the LT to slack... after the whole thing was over, had a AAR, then went with dickson, edmund and axel to parkway to have lunch... had lunch at the foodcourt, then went to mac's to finish up some prefect stuff... after that, went to parkway mall again to walk around and look see... went to mph, and other.... then at about 1600H, took 31 witht he rest to go back home... changed at boon keng mrt with dickson and then took mrt back home. reached home found that i would be the only one there... went in, bathed, then used com and read... waited for mummy and daddy to come back... fed the dog, ate dinner, then now bored to death in front of the com..." I DIED TODAY.... of boredom. really really bored... dunno what to do with my life... haha... last night spent the night thinking about my life and what i'm gonna do about it... this morning woke up at about 7am then uncle picked my dad and i up at about 8am to go to his place... spent the day there. kuan kiat(my cousin) spent most of the day playing com. watched Eight below with my dad... slept on and off most of the day... did a bit of reading... tmrw will be going to sch for duty during the induction day... cant wait for sch to reopen. i need that stress and something to distract me... haha...Age is opportunity no less

wooh.... just came back... quite tired... haha... this morning woke up at about 7am... got ready then at about 8.30am went with mummy and chacha... mummy dropped me off at the bus stop outside her office, near paya lebar, then took a 76 to sch... reached sch about 9.05am... met edmund and ziko... waited for the rest to come... then when dickson, devesh and kali came(ricardo is overseas so couldnt come), ziko told us, "i'm afraid i'm the bearer of bad news.... you all have been selected as the new EXCO 2007" hahaha... you should have seen kali's face when ziko said "i'm the bearer of bad news..." haha. his face really fell... hahaha... anw, after that, the meeting ended at about 11.35am, so went with dickson and edmund to parkway... ate at mac's then changed out of sch u... then took a 36 with edmund. i dropped off at city hall, while edmund went on to dhoby ghaut to go out with his "friend"... haha... at about 1.05pm, went into city hall station, sms-ed heidi about where to meet, then phone died... what a time to happen. anw, went to the platform, then met heidi there. we took a train down to dhoby ghaut then went to plaza singapura... we walked around, finding for shops that sold presents.... went up, then went down again... halfway, saw edmund waiting for his "friend".... haha... finally we went to Precious Thoughts... bought some cards and stuff there, then as i was about to pay, i saw marianne and gabriel there, but i didnt say hi... after we bought our stuff, we went on down... walked about here and there, buying pressies and stuff... bought quite a lot of stuff for friends... wont state what here in case they read this blog... hahaha... saw wesley there too... how come so many ppl i know shop at plaza singapura? haha... at about 3.15pm, heidi ran out of money and we had already went to every shop that sold present stuff, and heidi didnt want to eat, so we went back... took mrt with her to city hall, then changed and took towards pasir ris.. heidi said that i didnt need to accompany her all the way, although i asked a few times, haha, so dropped off at paya laber mrt station and then took a 135 back home... just came back about 20 mins ago... will be doing the christmas cards soon... had quite a fun day today... thanks heidi... haha.Gather ye rose-buds while ye may,

feel much better now... haha... today in the morning at about 10am went to singapore casket to recieve popo's ashes... then went to tse toh aum temple to put the ashes in the columbarium... arranged for the niche for popo and her mother to be beside each other... then came back, ate lunch, slept, then went online, then went for tuition... came back, ate, now watching tv...

i feel so exhausted rite now... no matter how long i rest or sleep i still feel tired... so emotionally spent. dunno what to do with myself. wish that there's school. damn it. i need something to distract me. doesnt seem like there's anything to look forward to in the future rite now... ycia thing this sat. bloody thing is on diff day for diff schs. really feel like swearing badly rite now. i'm in another desolate and dark mood right now. with one hand i can count how many times i've been in this kind of mood in my life. that's how bad i feel rite now. dun feel like doing anything at all. dun feel like talking to anyone. dun feel like anything. dunno what to think. dunno what to feel.Free from gross passion or of mirth or anger

for the past three nights have been staying over at the funeral parlour at singapore casket... only got about an average of 5hours each night... this morning, woke up at about 5.20am. mummy and chacha went back home to bathe and change.. they came back around 6.40am. then daddy and me went back to bathe and change also. changed into black pants and white long sleeve shirt. then went back. reached back at 7.30am. did prayers and stuff, then at 10am, the pall bearers came to bring the coffin to the hearse. there was a band and everything... went downstairs... everybody had to hold the van as it processed down the road to the main road. everybody started crying... the hearse number was 8688. i always saw other ppl doing this. never imagined that one day it would be my popo in there and me holding the hearse. then went drove to mandai crematorium. everybody else followed in the bus. the thing started at 11am in hall 1. did more prayers and stuff, then when they were ready, we went to the viewing hall 1. the people brought the coffin to some other place. in the viewing hall, we could see as the coffin slowly moved towards a set of wooden doors. then the dorrs opened and the furnace began. we began to cry again. the the coffin went in and the doors closed. we then went downstairs to wash up and go back to the cars and the bus... then we all went to ji to ahm temple in sin ming drive... burned all the paper gold and silver and the house and the car and credit cards and passports and popo's clothes there... then we had lunch there, vegetarian. then everybody started to leave. some took the bus back to lavender while others left from there. kongkong went back to office with his office colleagues... then my family went to uncle's place, where popo passed away... waited a while, then uncle came with ee poh(popo's sister) and the nun who presided the funeral... went upstairs, then the nun did some praying in the house. mummy showed us how popo was found and in what position... later, when the nun finished, we went back home, on the way dropping the nun off at joo jiat... came home at about 3pm. bathed, then slept till 6.30pm. ate dinner(leftover bee hoon from the wake) and then mummy and daddy went with chacha to see the vet, bringing along the dog... tmrw at 10.30am have to go back to singapore casket to collect the ashes... goodby, popo. safe journey. godspeed.
