To be honest, my innitial plan was to visit the Ghibli (Totoro) Museum and sorted out the route from my hotel to the museum but I bought the wrong ticket on Klook.com hahahaha. I have been telling my boyfriend that I wanted to visit Ghibli museum so bad and I couldn't tell him that I bought the wrong museum hahahaha ~ this mistakes is a big no, makes me look super stupid hahahaha.

Fujiko F. Fujio Museum is commonly known as Doraemon Museum, located in Kawasaki. The entry ticket must be purchased in advance as only limited visitors for few sessions throughout the day. You can purchase the tickets from LAWSON but to be on the safe side, try Klook.com, you may pick up tickets at their official airport counter, I picked up mine from Narita Airport.

Anyways, despite all my early preparation, we almost can't make it for the slot I've booked because I took the wrong train from Shinjuku Station. #gg I was supposed to debark at Noborito Station but my train skipped this station instead. I was 3-4 stations away and need to take a return train, which took me longer travel time. #gg So guys, always check with the train operator and make sure you take the right train.

The bus to museum

The bus operates every 10-15 minutes. We were supposed to have a window of an hour before our slot if we didn't take the wrong express train. By the time my train arrived the station, we have 4 minutes to reach the bus stop before the bus embark. Lucky us that we managed to beat the time by running! The bus operator ensured me that I will definitely make it for time.

The lady in photo will gather all visitors and show us the rules and regulations before we enter the exhibition hall. She was about to start and we took a quick photo to mark this lucky day, like we finally make it!

This wood chucker is out of function so I don't know how it should be.

In this museum, it features exhibition halls showing the first few of hand drawn comics, showing you how Mr Fujio started to draw, what kind of characters he created and more. If you watched Doraemon you know it's about future science and compassion for nature and earth. I enjoy every of the exhibited items and short films. No photo taking is allowed so you gotta come here to view it yourself.

We spent about 2.5 hours in the exhibition hall, next the cafe! My most favourite activity of the day is having character meal!

There's a theater in this hall but I decided to skip it as it's in Japanese language. I had a short stroll in the hall before we exit the museum through the souvenir main store.

The best highlight of exhibition, this copper statue.

Made me teary seeing this

I feel like a time traveller when I'm in the museum, reminds me of time where I would switch on the TV for Doraemon. Mr Fujio, the creator of Doraemon movies plays a big role as my inspiration in future science, animal welfare and earth. Is it worth the time travelling to visit this museum? Definitely a Yes. If you grew up in the generation same like mine, this is one of the memorable things from our childhood time.

It was a fun trip to Tokyo with these people. It was a dont-say-I-dont-jio-you kind of trip and the group got bigger and bigger.

A quick one before some of us fall asleep in the plane.

I did the booking on accommodation and air tickets. We booked Vietnam Airlines, had a transit in Vietnam. We arrived at Narita Airport, Tokyo.

Akihabara Town

Our accommodation is located in Ningyocho area, just 2 stops away from Akihabara. It was our first stop of the day.

Expensive equippment that I don't understand how it's gonna function.

SEGA is always one of my favorite in Akihabara. Brought my friends and some of us tried our luck with claw machines, well, better luck next time!

I remember the weather is alright, I could walk without wearing a Heattech. We got hungry shortly after a short walk in Akihabara, we randomly walk into a shop for meal.

Do not doubt, I ate both.

Ichi-ran ramen! I bet many of you know Ichi-ran Ramen. Honestly speaking, I didn't know this famous ramen until the time when I asked my Japanese friend about any good food to introduce to them. I was in Tokyo too with my best friends in year 2015 and that was my first time trying out Ichi-ran Ramen. Would I recommend to my friends? Definitely!

I couldn't find Ichiran in Akihabara thus we took the subway to Shibuya for Ichiran Ramen. It is located just next door to Bershka Store, Shibuya.

There are few choices, it's easy to understand even though you don't read Japanese. First, purchase one bowl of Ichi-ran Ramen. I always get a ramen-refill and an egg, but if you can't decide if you would like to go for a second round, you can always order the refill inside.

Untitled
My choice of Ichi-ran ramen.

As you can see, I ordered a bowl of Ichi-ran Ramen and an egg only. You'll need to write down your preference in soup flavour and pass it to the kitchen helper with your ticket. I've tried every texture of noodles, the best is soft.

Every Ichi-ran Ramen I went, the waiting doesn't take really long. Every eater takes about 20 to 30 minutes, you just gotta tell the usher how many people in your group and wait in line.

I finished the first bowl of ramen and ordered the refill. I never tried to ask for soup refill though, does anyone of you asked for soup refill?

That's me adding another round of ramen.

It started when one of our friends mentioned about Tokyo Auto Salon, and I started to talk about Disneyland, and another one started to talk about action figures, and here we are. I can't tell how much I love Disneyland, everything just "boom!" since my first Disney experience in year 2011. Le boyfriend treated me a birthday celebration that year and we stayed in Hong Kong Disneyland, and the fun continues, I just couldn't resist the Disney-bugs.

Well, after a long day in Tokyo,

Untitled
Oh boys.

It was our first day and everyone was tired, the station is merely 5 minutes walk from our hotel. I stayed in the same hotel for the second time, the location is superb, TCAT is just few blocks away, we have access to two stations which have different lines such as Ginza Line, Hibiya Line and Airport limited access.

Yep, I'm gonna write about Auto Salon soon! Till then.
