For Labor Day this year we decided to make the pilgrimage back up to Utah. We decided to split the trip up this time to make it a little easier on little
buga boo. He travels well now, but we didn't want to push our luck. We give him snacks along the way to keep him occupied, except he is in a stage right now where he likes to shove everything in his mouth all at once. I was giving him grapes one or two at a time, but I guess I thought he was eating them faster than he really was. I looked back to see how he was doing and this is what I found...
I guess you can never have too may grapes. :)
So we started out and decided to make a day of it and stop at the Hoover Dam to sight see for a little while.
Needless to say,
buga boo was more than happy to get out and stretch his legs. This also wore him out so he would sleep in the car.
We arrived at our destination the same time as my family. My brother returned home from his mission so we planned a mini family reunion for Labor Day weekend. He served his mission in the South Salt Lake area and he wanted to take us around to all the sights. I loved seeing him again and we are so happy to have him home!
To celebrate we went out to play miniature golf and
buga boo loved it! Maybe the next Tiger Woods in the making.... :)

Saturday we got to go to the BYU - Washington football game. GO BYU! Although I think buga boo is still just a little too young to really appreciate football so mom and baby spent most of the time walking around. |

We had such a good time and we also got to meet my oldest brother's girlfriend. ;) Although somehow they evaded the camera so I don't have any proof, but it is true! And I think buga boo took a special liking to her....
Unfortunately my family had to say good-bye on Monday and head back home. We were fortunate enough to stay and visit with Roger's mom and sister. We didn't do too much that week, just a quiet relaxing vacation. he really loved Grandma's cat though and spent most of the time chasing it or coaxing Grandma into holding her so he could pet her.
We were also able to visit my Grandma at Temple Square. She is on her mission their in the Family History Center so that was fun to see her.
On the way home we made several stops but one of them was in Kingman, Arizona where they had a train on display. I never realized how
HUGE these things were!!
We had an awesome time and loved the visit. I wish we could have seen more people, but alas, their is never enough time. Thanks everyone for the fun vacation!
