nature table

I picked up this hairy acorn in the park yesterday, never seen one like it before, what a character!

A good prop for Logpile trays and mats which are now in my shop along with the rocking horse tray and cutting mat.

delivery

The first batch of trays and cutting mats arrived in the post this morning. Rocking horse in olive and Logpile in black and silver birch. The trays are 28cmx36cm, a great size for coffee and cake or breakfast in bed. I will be putting them into my shop over the next couple of days.

busy week

We photographed the trays and cutting mats yesterday, friend and photographer Heather Hobhouse made sense of my collection of tasty props and backgrounds. I am really looking forwards to the results later this week. And my seven day sale continues in both shops which along with a new wholesale order meant hasty reprinting of some designs on Monday. I usually love printing in the summer because everything dries in an instant on the washing line but persistent rain means nowhere to dry screens and prints so my studio looks like this.

Use this code SEVENDAYSALE for 25% discount in my easy and online shop, sale ends on Friday.

new products

I like to use any profits from my open studio event for new products, last year it was wallpaper, this year something a little easier! And, great excitement, prototypes of my rocking horse design as a tray and cutting mat arrived in the post today. Now I have to make decisions (this I am not good at!). Should I split the order and do this in teal as well? Should I do two designs? I would like a tray in the Logpile design and a cutting mat just so that I can call it 'chop chop'. I hope to have production in place before my Summer holiday ready for Autumn. (I can't believe summer is racing away before it has even started here in the UK, we are back to skies the colour of tin buckets today)
