Random Pics!

Top pic is of the baby's room finally done. Yay! If you look in the closet, but dont look too close, you can see what the room used to look like. That wood paneling all over. I usually have the closet closed so I did not want to paint in there but we finished painting thanks to my amazing sister Kelyn last night everywhere else. Isnt it so cute!!! The bottom pic is of course Brayton being just cute. I thought this pic was so cute so I wanted to post it. Well I had my dr's appt today and (sorry this might be too much info) he stripped my membranes. So he thinks I could have this baby like this weekend. He said it works for some women and for other women it doesn't so... we will have to see what happens. He did this for me when I was pregnant with Brayton and 2 days later I was in the hospital but who knows. I will keep you all posted. Have a wonderful day!!!

Cuz Hangout!!!

So I was watching Kelyn's kids tonight and they were being so dang cute so I decided to take pics. The top pic is Brayton making Isaac and Samuel laugh so hard! It went on for like 2 min straight and Dusty and I were dying laughing. I tried getting a video of them doing this but of course they saw me get the camera and pretty much stopped:( The middle pic is Isaac just being as cute as can be. and the bottom pic is Brayton and Samuel being cheese heads:) They play and share so good and I am very grateful for that!!! They were non stop playing and laughing the whole time I had them. What cute little boys!!!!

He's a BIG boy now!!!!

He is Too Cute!!!! This Harley was at Ross and Brayton is obsessed with bikes so when he saw it he flipped out! I of course thought it was just a bike but oh no! If you push a button it makes the harley sound and so Brayton pushes it non stop. I am definately regretting getting it for him because that is all I hear now! I cant wait for the batteries to die and then I can say to him sorry it doesnt work anymore. haha. I am such a mean mom. But the reason why he got this cool bike was because today he on his own wanted to sleep in a big boy bed. I have never tried to get him to sleep on one and I have been so scared to put him in one. But today for his nap he would not get in his crib so I said "do you want to sleep in the big boy bed?" and he said yes. So he laid himself down and I said K I love you na-night! He fell right to sleep and slept for 2 1/2 hours and didnt even fall off. I was dying of shock and excitement. Well I thought this was probably going to be just a 1 time thing so when we went to go lay him down he climbed right onto the big boy bed and laid down. We said prayers and then said night we love you. He fell right to sleep again!!! I am dying!!! Of course you all are thinking oh big boy bed meaning a toddler bed. Oh no this is a queen sized bed. He loves it and so do I:) Lets hope this keeps going because now I can get this little girls room done before she comes. Yay!!! I also hope he doesnt wake up early now so we will see I guess.

1. Where did I meet my husband?
My now bro-in-law but at the time was dating Kelyn, set us up on a blind date. So we met at my apt. before we went out.

2.What was the first thing you said to your husband?
Hi its nice to meet you. I think. (my husband is informing me that I said "I have heard so much about you!") He is such a goof:)

3. Where was your first date?
Our first date was fun and kinda romantic. Usually for a first date I would be like are you kidding me but I seriouly was already falling for this guy that I knew for maybe an hour. But he went to Korea on his mission so we went to Takamatsu, a korean resturaunt, and it wasnt bad. Of course I stayed pretty safe with what I got:) Then we went to the Hyatt in Scottsdale to ride the Gondalas(sp). We had blankets wrapped around us and there was a guy singing while we rode. This is the romantic part. But I didnt mind, all I kept thinking was I want to hold his hand and cuddle. Then we went to a young single adult party but it was dumb so we went back to my apt. with some people and watched Hercules. What a fun night I still remember it like it was yesterday.

4.Where was your first kiss?
Well this is the funny part. He lived in Snowflake and just came down on weekends so during the week we would just talk on the phone for literally hours just getting to know each other. So when he came back the next weekend after our first date the weekend before, he came and picked me up and when we were leaving my apt. complex we were at a stopsign and we looked at eachother and he leaned over and kissed me. But it was so quick. He told me he had never been this nervous to kiss a girl. He actually kissed girls on the first date. I was special you see!! haha. But I still laugh about that to this day. All of our other kisses were great though:)

5. Did you have a long or short engagement?
Well our first date was Nov. 8th of 2003 and the week after Thanksgiving we were engaged. Hey if its right its right so why wait and have lots of temptation:) is my question. Then we were married in Feb. So pretty short!!!

6. Where did you get engaged?
He took me back to the Hyatt in Scottsdale, our first date, and took me on the Gondala and proposed to me. We then went to my fav. restaraunt Olive Garden and the waitress was already telling me my ring was beautiful. I was on cloud 9!!!!!

7. Where were you married?
In the Mesa, AZ temple. It was fabulous!

8. How did the reception go?
It was fabulous. There were so many people there mostly because we had a double reception. My sister Kelyn and her husband Spencer(the one that set me and Dusty up) got married the day after us and then we had a double reception. We were standing in line for so long. We didnt get to eat any of our food. But it was beautiful!!

9. How was the honeymoon?
Well since we were doing the double reception thing, Dusty and I got married on a Thurs. and the reception wasnt until Fri. so after we were married we had all day which was kinda weird. Funny thing is I was terrified for the honeymoon part. We just stayed at a really nice hotel in Scottsdale because the next day we had to be back to the temple for my sisters wedding and then I had to go get my hair done again for the reception. It was quite the weekend. We just stayed in that hotel till Sun. and then Dusty was starting a new job that he had to be to on Mon. I keep telling him we deserve an actual honeymoon. But it was still very nice!!

We're Ready!! I hope:)

Well my baby shower was great and we got quite a bit of stuff. This is the bedding I wanted from Target and I got it. Yay!!! Thanks to my family who got it for me. I have been looking for a new crib and usually these cribs are like $200 or more and I found this at K-mart for $99. It was a buyer for sure. Dusty even loves it so that was a plus. Well we got in on Sat. and set it up cuz I was so excited. But isn't it so cute?! My friend Megan gave me very cute block letters spelling her name in pink and brown too so we can hang the letters over the crib. Oh I am so excited. It is so weird though, I was looking so forward to my shower and now that it is over I am like ok everything is done. Um... wait we still are going to have her! The best part isn't even here yet. I dont know how to explain it. But I am weirded out especially to have a girl. Ok enough rambling but thank you to all who came to my shower. Have a wonderful day.

The top pic if you look closely he has another bruise from konking his head again like 2 days after his first konk. He had his blanket over his head and ran full speed and ran right into our table and chairs, it knocked him flat on his back. Dork I know!!! The bottom pic. is just Brayton and Isaac playing. Right when I was trying to take the pic. they both saw so Brayton smiled and Isaac was getting up to come get the camera. But it is still a cute picture.

First day of School!

It is Dusty's first day of school today and I really am so sad. We have had such a great summer with him being home quite a bit. Those of you who know me I do not do change very well. so this is killing me:) But this semester he has school during the day and nothing at night so I am actually doing better this time. My boys are so flipping cute and soon I am going to have a little girl in these pics. Yay! But just want to say that I have an amazing husband and I love him SO much, he is such a hard worker and I know he is going to great this semester.

Konk!!!!

So this is Brayton's before pic. before he "konked" his head. That's what Brayton calls it when he hits his head. "I konk". Oh isnt he so flipping cute?!!!! (He just had his hair cut too.) But the other night we were watching So you think you can dance and Brayton thought he could dance but just spins in circles forever and lost his balance and fell and hit his head HARD on Dusty's weights. He cried for a bit but then jumped back up and started dancing again. But I dont think these pics do his bruise and bump justice. It was pretty sad! But the bump was gone the next day and now it is just a soft bruise. But he is a tough boy! It always makes me more sad than him. haha.
