I'm Published! :)

I am so excited to announce that my layout is published in the Summer Issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine!!! 

This issue can be downloaded for free at www.scrapbookandcards.com!
My layout is on page 62 (digital copy) and page 60 in print. :) 

P.S.  I didn't noticed till later, but my layout was the "Editor's Pick"!! How cool is that!

Paper Secrets June 15th challenge - Layout

Have you seen Paper Secret's June 15th Sketch challenge?  It's an awesome sketch from PageMaps with a fun twist!

and the twist....  use product with numbers (aside from alpha sets) such as bingo cards, price tags, rulers, etc.

I used Echo Park For the Record 2 collection.  The ruler is what I used for my numbers!

Sketch with Stash #4 - Scrap Our Stash

Scrap Our Stash has another amazing Sketch with Stash challenge! Here's my layout:

Projects from the Back Porch Memories Kit

Hello there! I am back with my creations from the Back Porch Memories Solo kit!!!

Back Porch Memories July Kits!

As always, Back Porch Memories July Kits are AWESOME!!! :)  The Solo kit features Crate Paper's "The Pier" Collection.  I just love the colors in this collection!!

Tags, Tags and more Tags!

I have been loving tags on layouts recently and couldn’t wait to make a layout
 focusing on tags.

For this layout, I created my own tags from the GCD Studios Special Delivery collection. 

 For that, I used Jack (#2043) and Zach (#2048) papers.  The little cards were prefect for tags.  I use a pre-made tag for my template and then traced and cut the cards into tags.  I punched 5/8 circles from black cardstock and adhered them to the tag.  Lastly, I punched a hole through each tag and added twine.

GCD Studio’s Special Delivery papers: George (#2037), Dillon (#2040), Guido (#2042),  Jack (#2043), Zach (#2048) and Spencer (#2046);  Paperclips (#2054);  Brads (#2053); Alpha Stickers (#2051) and Label stickers (#2052).  Other: cardstock and twine.

Another Year Older

It's "All About Our Guys" over at Scrap Our Stash!  The challenge is to create a layout about that special GUY(S) in your life and because Scrap Our Stash is all about using up what we already have, the twist is to used 5+ brads on your layout.  

Here's my layout:

This is my little man who turned 5years old!!!  For this layout, I used Echo Park All About a Boy Collection.  I did a quite a bit on this layout! lol  I masked the chevrons and circle graph, added mists drops, used a fence stamp and added some twine work.  Lastly, I added my brads on the punched border strip I added to the right of the photo.

Red Carpet Studio has a great challenge going on this week!  

This week's challenge is to create a layout featuring stripes.  Here's my layout:

I used Pink Paislee's Indigo Bleu Collection.  I went with the diagonal stripes for my layout.  I used a sketch from sketchbook 365 for inspiration.
