Is it really May already? I can't believe how fast things are moving and how much these two little boys are growing every time I turn around.

Easter was a hit. It was just simple and fun. We enjoyed our traditional Easter egg hunt at Papa Val's house after church. Derek thought it was pretty amazing. It was so fun this year to see him actually get excited over looking for eggs, where as last year he was more interested in finding a couple and then sitting and feasting on chocolate candies.

Work is going great, and keeping us on our toes. We are always busy with something, and that's the way we like it. We spend a majority of our weeknights at the gym together. The boys love the daycare center and it gives Bryson and I our time to get our stress from the busy day out and just enjoy any time where it's adults and not runny noses and potty breaks.

We have so many things to look forward to, be terrified for, have anxiety for, you name it.... we'll be facing it in the next couple weeks. My youngest brother Elder Nathan Reece has his mission farewell May 8, and heads out to Spokane, WA May 11th. For him the next two years will be a whirlwind and I hope he just soaks in every experience and loves all of it. For the Robison family things are about to flip upside down. On May 15th (I think it is) Bryson youngest brother Shea will be deployed to Kazakistan for two weeks, and then on to the Afghan-Pakistan border. It will be several months before he's done with this particular mission. So as you can imagine, it's going to be many sleepless nights and lots of prayers to keep us grounded and show the support to Shea that we each know he deserves.

Looking at weeks in advance and seeing how much we have to get done, and get organized before summer starts and my job goes on pause for the summer months, makes me want to cringe. You ask yourself, well why does the summer mean it stops? A majority of the kids at the preschool are school teacher kids which comes down to loosing kids for a little while = no $. Yes the summer time in Arizona means WAY higher bills, but $500 for power is sadly the normal bill for each month when you live here. So we've got to get our game faces on and bight the gigantic bullet.

Can you tell I hold all of my thoughts in and then I am given a blank screen to type out all that is going through my mind. Yes it's all over the place, and yes there is so much more I can say, but I don't want to scare any of you off. :) So as you come across the stress you have in your day to day moments just take a deep breath and count to 5, I promise it helps and if it doesn't then reach for and ice cold DIET COKE it has become the greatest release for me, well.... along with the treadmill.

Any ways, enjoy the pictures below as a quick rewind to catch you up to where we are now. Have a wonderful week!

As Of Lately...

So often I find myself feeling totally out of the loop, with all of these ladies and their crafts. I have so many fun ideas I want to do, and weather it come down to time or money I don't follow through with all of my crafty cravings. I want so bad to find something to do, "just for fun" that I can be proud of.
So while I sat here tonight after doing laundry, and keeping up with my little guy; I thought I would try my hand at felt flowers. So here is my first flower. I thought it turned out pretty good for a first timer, but I am excited to keep going and make some for my nieces.
What do you think of it?

So with a quick trip from the Reece's the weekend was packed full of fun. I haven't downloaded off my flip yet, but I'll be sure to post pictures and videos from the oober fun time we had for Joey's birthday, and feeding ducks. :)
It was such a fun stay at Aunt Debbie's Bed & Breakfast.
Now back to my empty house :(

What is better than a Valentine's party with 9 year old girls? Well honestly I could think of a bunch of stuff I'd rather do on a Saturday morning, but if it gets me off the hook for a few hours extra to clean the house, I can't lie... I'll jump on that chance. ha ha ha.
The party was a success, and Jared and his family even got to see first hand just how much fun the dance party was.
I must say, Joey has quiet the dancing skills.

Papa Val was amazing and replaced our washer and dryer that have been on the brink of totally breaking down for the last couple months. So with a half gallon of paint I hit the laundry room and pantry and was ready for an update to my white walls.
I was ecstatic to get the new ones and the fact that I don't have to sit on my knees and kill my back loading and un-loading, was enough to nearly make me do a cartwheel.
Thank you thank you again Val !

Ella, is one of the little girls I have at the daycare. She is an absolute doll, and her sweet Mommy and Daddy let me snag her for a little while Saturday morning for her 2 year old photo shoot. Here is a handful of the pictures. :)
