Jacey's new fake smile

For a fake smile, it's really not that bad.

It's such a pain to straighten her hair, that I have to take a picture every time I do it. It looks so much cuter when I straighten it, but did I mention that it's a pain? And it takes a whole episode of Barney? I even had them thin it with the thining shears last time we got it cut, and it is still thick as rope. She has been blessed/cursed with my hair. It's really a catch 22. It's nice when it's styled, but it takes so long to style that it never gets done.

Anyway, that was a tangent. Here's another example of the fake smile. Taken on another day when I straightened her hair.

That's all I got. Will was supposed to be off today and Monday, but he is working from home. Which I suppose is better than working not-at-home. At least for me. Happy Friday. :)

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

I'm not sure how great Will's birthday was for him (he had to go to work), but Jacey sure had a blast with it. She wanted to shop for his presents, and she insisted on wrapping the one from her (a CD) herself. She actually did a nice job. She also helped with the cake, mixing up the batter and putting the decorations on. Londyn, well. . . she helped eat the cake. And the wrapping paper. So she is a helper in her own little way.

I was going to post a very eloquent journal entry about Londyn and how cute she is and how much she is changing lately. But she is screaming right now. So I have to go. This is my life.
