2013 wrap up

If you print out this blog post and hang it on your wall it's like I sent out a Christmas card right??

One day I will do it I swear. I love getting your cards so keep them coming!

I wanted to wrap up the year with a quick post.

Here's the highlights

~Had a baby in April

~my oldest turned 8 and got baptized

~bought 5 acres of land

~enjoyed the lake and boat all summer

~got to vacation down at South Padre Island

~all three of my boys are now in elementary school and loving it

~enjoyed the holidays with good friends

~drew up and finalized house plans and should start construction this January

Reven

~turned 8 got baptized

~loves basketball, baseball

~had a dirt bike and loves it

~in 3rd grade now and is realizing that school isn't fun and games anymore

~good big brother to his sisters

~not so much to his brothers

~love this guy

Mason

~just turned 7

~in 1st grade

~plays football, basketball and soccer

~thinks he's the best soccer player there is

~is super smart

~still very shy but getting better

~very sweet I love this kid

Jesse

~turned 5 this year

~started kindergarten

~loves school and is doing well

~he is still just as crazy as he was when he was born

~total joskter

~loves playing basketball and soccer

~loves to torture Roxy

~He is awesome. Love him!

Roxy

~turned 2 and is every bit a 2 year old

~loves everything pink and fancy

~loves to dress up and play

~rules this house

~sings and dances like nobody's business

~still has hardly any hair

~says the funniest stuff every single day

~makes me laugh I love her to pieces

Raylee

~8 months old

~getting such a personality

~best baby ever

~loves to chew on everything

~can sit up and roll over but that's about all

~has the cutest laugh

~has amazing dimples

~still no hair

~sleeps like a champ

~she is my baby and I love her

Rob

~still owns his practice and makes it look easy (well to me, because he does everything and I don't!)

~most days likes being a dentist

~is very excited about our new land and all the projects he's going to have

~just turned 33 on Christmas

~he's getting old

~loves watching and playing all sports

~still can kill it on the wakebored even though he's old

~amazing dad

~I love him too

Lexie

~trying to not  to freak out that it's the last year in my 20's

~came close to landing my backroll on the wakeboard

~Rob says it's not even close

~sit around eating bon bons all day

~what's a bon bon anyway?

Happy 7th birthday Mason!!!

My little man is 7! Doesn't that blow your mind? every time my kids have a birthday it just gets stranger and stranger to me. How does time go so fast I don't know? 

Well he had a great birthday. we decided that we are doing parties every other year for our kids. we have too many kids to do one every year and I just don't want to! So this year was Mason's "off" year but we still had a great time. I took donuts to his school to celebrate with his classmates there. He's really come a long way in school. he actually talks!! And he is so super smart I just love this kid!

After he got home form school we gave him his presents. He's a very simple kid. He is happy and content with just about anything and he's so sweet. He really wanted a soccer ball and a Book of Mormon :) He got a few other things too and he was happy. We also invited our friends Erica and Matt with their boys to come to Gattiland with us. It's basically a place like Chucky E cheese but WAY better. It's a pizza buffet and has a lot of cool games to play. the kids had a lot of fun! all and all it was a great bday for this kid!

A few facts about Mason...

~He is still very sensitive and very shy. He has been that way literally since the day he wad born.

~He is very sweet. never too loud or obnoxious like the others seem to be!

~He's very smart. His hand writing is amazing and he reads and spells so well for his age

~he's my thinker. He's always thought outside the box and will really ask deep questions. 

~He LOVE soccer. he thinks he's the best player there is!

~he has the darkest hair out of any of my kids. and his own look as well

~he is and will probably be my shortest and skinniest kid. Poor thing but with Rob and I for parents he doesn't stand a chance!

 ~He's really funny. his sense of humor is different from...lets say Jesse who will run into a wall to make you laugh. But Mason is a pretty funny kid.

~he remembers everything

~Roxy looooooves mason the best. I know that sounds bad. she loves all her sibs but Mason and her have a very sweet relationship. He is always always nice to her. He never tortures her like the others do. If she wakes up from her nap she will ask for Mason only to come get her out of her bed. If she needs help doing something she wants mason to help her. I hope their relationship is always like this. He is such a good big brother.

When I went to the school to his class we walked i and all the kids were sitting on the carpet. Roxy saw Mason and full speed RAN and tackled him while giving him a hug. I seriously started to tear up when I saw it! It melted my heart! I wish I had video of it, it was precious. Mason was a little red in the face but he loved it!

Just because I like pictures

 I have been noticing a trend in my blog. The number of post has been going down each year! I am not liking this at all. So basically I want to try and cram as many pictures into this last month as possible!

So he's a few random things...

Rob and I went out on a date. I know that shouldn't be a big deal but for us it is! we hardly ever go out so it's always fun when we do. We just did dinner and then finished our Christmas and Mason's birthday shopping. not the funnest date ever but hey we didn't have kids tagging a long!

Reven is OBSESSED with trying to make his tongue stick to metal! he's been trying but he hasn't tried just at the right times to make it stick! funny kid
