All my babies get a first birthday party! it's like a right of passage to go from months to years. it's also super super hard for me but that's ok. I did cry A LOT this past weekend thinking about how big she is getting but I decided to push through it and party on :)
Now of course the theme of her birthday was going to be hot pink and zebra. Her room is decked out in those colors and it's just so...Roxy! And since this will be the only year I will do this theme (unless she asks for it another time) I had to go all out right?! it was so fun coming up with ways to decorate for her party. I made a lots of crafty things too. Rob doesn't like how I went a little overboard. but hey your only baby girl turns ONE only ONCE! It tuned out great! we have some great friends who came to celebrate with us too. Our back yard it always a big hit and that's where the party is.

She was the ONLY one of my kids who didn't scream during the birthday song! she was so happy actually. So sweet!
Rob smashed the cake in her face before I had a chance to get picture. I was more than a little upset about this. but he's paying for his mistakes.....
