craftyness

So I have been WAY into all things crafty lately. I am trying to get things ready for the holidays coming up. Alright, to be completely honest mostly Halloween because all the other holiday's take a back seat to Halloween! Also I am finally getting my house in order. When I moved in I was 5 months pregnant and if that wasn't enough all my health issues started up and when Rob would say "lets hang pictures!" I would say "No, lets take a nap!" So needless to say my house has been "sterile" for the past....10 months? Yikes that sounds horrible when I say it out loud (or typed out)

But that's ok because I am in a mood to DEC-O-RATE! I have been slowly working on little things, and hanging pictures and painting rooms and have TONS of ideas. (most from Pinterest. I'm kind of addicted!) and things are coming together great. Soooo my point is...I want to blog all of my projects and crafts that I have been ignoring my kids for! For your enjoyment yes, but mostly to document them for my sake. That way when my kids ask me when they're older, "why didn't you pay attention to us mom???" I can honestly say "I'm sorry sweety but look how AWESOME our house looks!!"

Now again back to the point. I'm getting a little side tracked here, sorry. I have been playing around with idea of starting a crafting blog. I know I know ANOTHER craft blog out there? I know there are tons of them because...well let's be honest, I read ALL of them. so I am just trying to figure out if I should just post all my stuff on this blog or start a "crafty" one.

Would anyone read a craft blog done by me?

uh.....does anyone even read this blog??

and so it begins

I had to start Roxy on rice cereal yesterday. Before I continue I have to say that I HATE the solid food stage. I hate everything about baby food. everything. If I could just nurse only, all the way until the kid could eat a pizza I would be one happy lady. But, I get it, don't go calling the authorities here. When my babies are hungry I feed them, I promise. I was just hoping to wait till Rox was 6 months, but she is ready. She has been eying our food like crazy for the past couple weeks and I have been ignoring it like crazy also!

So I am starting out slow. She still seems content with just milk but the way she looks at me when I am eating or even drinking anything is just heart breaking so I caved. She obviously has NO idea what to think of food yet and is still getting the hang of it but I am sure that will change.

so if you need me anytime in the next year I will be the one sitting next to the highchair day in and day out trying to get my baby to eat nasty nasty baby food while I'm gagging because it's...you guessed, Nasty! Oh and I'm sure I'll have orange or green stains on my shirt for the next year also. {sigh}

Ps. I know they say girls are "developing" younger and younger these days but to need a bra at 5 months old?
Sheesh!!!!

Does this ever get old?

It's like my own personal baby doll that I get to dress up and accessorize every single day!
And I'm loving every minute of it!
I love my little Foxy Roxy!

Future pros

 LAST AZ POST I SWEAR!

While we went to the lake with the kids we got Reven out on the wakeboard! And then Joi wanted to go too. It's so fun to see them out there, one day we'll get a little wakeboard so our kids can do it by themselves! You know...after they learn how to swim and everything.....

Here's Reven boardin

Here's Joi!

the kids had fun jumping and swimming in the water. Well only one of my kids. Reven was having lots of fun while my others just watched from inside the boat!

Then we went tubing! Now you know every year Lindsay and I have the BEST tubing pics ever! Well this year was different :( not only is the super awesome tube broken..but Lindsay is pregnant so tubing was a no no for her. So the awesomeness of the tubing will have to wait till next year....

but the kids went and they liked it...well everyone but Mason of course.

More lake time- UPDATE

*so I mixed up the videos. LAME now they are in the right order

Will these Az posts ever end??? I think I have one more after this......

As I said before we took a couple trips to the lake while in az. Here are just some more fun pics and videos from that trip. Now the 2 videos at the end are HILARIOUS but it might just be to Rob and Lindsay and me...not sure. just check them out.

ok so I have no idea what's going on with the colors and background here....weird.

I kept giving Rob a hard time because the last 2 summers he wasn't really trying anything on the wakeboard. he told me because he's old now he just can't do anything. Well I told him that he can't get a boat and NOT do anything. It was all just in fun but I kept nagging him. well this trip he sure showed me. He was throwing up tons of stuff and landing them all.
I love him :) thanks for proving me wrong babe!

Backroll!!!

backroll on film

He tried a tantrum...it didn't work all the way but still looked cool!

And then theres me.....haha BLAH!

Jbro

Justin and Linds

Ok so these videos of Justin are priceless. Rob decided to set him up with a double up. That means he was going drive the boat so that TWO wakes collided with each other therefor producing and HUGE wake to get major air off of. Justin was ready because he wanted to jump really high. Well this was the result.......

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Lindsay could NOT stop laughing at her hubby. it was the most hilarious thing!

Rob decided he needed another try. and this is what happened.....

We love you J!
