Christmas Card

This might come as a shock to some of you but I don't do Christmas Cards! I would like to do them, I am not sure why I don't. I guess I just assume I blog so much that you guys can read this and be all set. I LOVE getting Christmas Cards from everyone, I display them and keep all the pictures. but I just don't join in. Maybe next year I will change my ways... ya we'll see.

Anyway I decided to do a BLOG card! actually I just took a pic in front of my tree the other day after church and thought, "hey I'll just pretend this was my intent the whole time!" So here you go.....it went from bad to worse in a matter of seconds. but you can still enjoy it a little!

Oh and some have requested prego pics. so here I am in all my "free willy" glory! have a mentioned how much I hate being fat and pregnant?!?!

alright I still have so much to blog but I have to pace myself. I have some health issues going on (see a couple post below about my circulation) things have progressed from bad to worse. I'll update you on that when I get some answers...if I get some answers :(
in the mean time...a million doctors appointments to go to.

Christmas Eve

Our Christmas are usually very quiet. We haven't been around family in 5 years for the holidays so that right there makes it quiet. Most friends here (or while we were in Jersey) went out of town so we usually just stick with the 5 of us. Which is good...but in the near future I would like to have a big hectic Christmas Eve and day. Just to switch it up ya know? Anyway, We didn't really have any plans but Christmas eve Reven had this idea stuck in his head that we wanted to play with glitter. I don't know where he got it but i though it would be fun. So we sat down and made Christmas pictures with glitter. the kids LOVED it and we had a good time. Reven made a picture of him and a Christmas tree and a spider (??) and Mason and Jesse made Christmas Crabs! hahaha they love crabs for some reason. (must not be my kids but I hate crabs) anyway it was messy but fun!

We also made and decorated sugar cookies for Santa. The kids had a lot of fun with this. Jesse liked to eat the dough...and icing...and flour. that boy is crazy! We had a good time with lots of fun activities!

Mason is SO sensitive. He has never liked when we have sung happy birthday to him. He usually cries every time. but in addition to that this year he pulled his shirt up over his face. poor guy!!!

He cheered up though when he got his presents!

Happy 30th Baby!!

I know that it's Christmas, but I always want to acknowledge Rob first before I post about Christmas. His birthday always gets overshadowed which is understandable (even by me :( sometimes) BUT this year Rob is 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's freaking out a little that he is getting so old. I think it's pretty funny and I don't think 30 is old. though I may feel differently when I turn 30. Anyway I wanted to have a big party but we don't have too many friends here yet and none that are in town really because of the holidays. Plus Rob hates attention so what's left to do? We sang to him and got him some gifts and this week I think I'll take him out on a date (if I can find someone to watch my kids!) So hopefully he enjoyed his bday!

Anyway I love you babe, and no matter how old you get I will still love you!

Mason is 4!!!

My little Maseo is 4! Well he was yesterday the 20th. I can't believe how much time flies. I say that with all my kids when they turn another year older but it's so true. I remember the day he was born like yesterday. My little Christmas Miracle! (and I mean that quite literally) He is such a sweet sensitive kid I love him so much! We had a fun day yesterday and did a bunch of stuff he wanted to do. Then that night we had some friend of ours come over with their 3 kids and all the kids just had a blast running around and playing and eating cake! I will post his fourth Bday pics in a little bit but right now here are some of his past birthdays!

all I want for Christmas...

... Is my circulation back!

So I am having a little problem. Well actually it started out little but now has turned into a big problem. 2 days after Thanksgiving my big toes started going numb. I thought it was weird but we had family in town and were doing so much I figured I just over worked myself. Well then a few days later it went to all my toes, then my entire feet. now, when I say numb... I mean that Pin and needles feeling you get when your foot or hand falls asleep and it starts getting blood back into it. You know that EXTREMELY painful feeling you get? Well that was now happening to my feet and NOT stopping, not even for an hour. Then it spread to my hands and now the tip of my nose (weird I know!) Along with those symptoms my entire face is sore to the touch. It hurts to open my jaw to chew and my inner ear hurts too. My hands not only have the pins and needles feeling but they are sore. It feel like sever carpel tunnel. I can't close the door to my van, I can't cut up an apple, changing a diaper is hard. I can't handle it anymore. it has been 3 weeks STRAIGHT of constant pain even when I sleep. I went to the dr because I am nervous the baby is not getting enough blood and whatnot. Well the doc checked me out and did an ultrasound and the baby is perfect and healthy (and still a girl :) But as for me, on paper I look great. He said that between 16-18 weeks you get a surge of estrogen that peaks and usually women feel that tingly feeling. He said it should go away soon. I am not sure he really knows just how painful and constant the pain is. Even though I told him. He said that IF the pain does not go away then I need to see a Neurologist (yikes) . I am nervous that this wont go away. I have been reading every baby book and looking online and I can't find my symptoms ANYWHERE! pregnant women complain of hand pain but nothing else.

Has this happened to anyone out there? I need some help because I cry every night because I can't even buckle my kids in their car seats. It's getting really bad :( I hobble around like a 90 year old women because when I get up my feet hurt so bad. have you ever tried to walk on your foot that has fallen asleep? IT HURTS! That's me constantly.

I hate to be a whiner and complainer. but this has been 3 weeks so I thought I would get some feed back from any other prego women out there who might have had this happen! Rob thinks it would be cool if they named a disease after me..... me not so much!

Family Time

I need to get cracking on this blog! Well I am going to blog all of Justin and Lindsay's trip right now. they came out here for Thanksgiving and stayed almost a week. We had SO much fun! They day they got here was Justin's Birthday so we took him to Rudy's which is the best BBQ we have found here in Texas and it's SOOOO good. We all ate WAY too much! Then we came home and I had made a Texas Sheet cake (his fav) and we sang and had ice cream and had fun. The kids love wrestling with Jbro. They call him "the Funny guy" they just think he's the best!

One day we took them down to the Oasis. I have blogged this before, it's our favorite restaurant up on top of the mountain over looking a SWEET lake. The food ain't too bad either! So we took some pics up there. We also went downtown to Zilker Park which is an awesome park right on the River/Lake Austin. You can see down town in the background and swim in the springs, and canoe the river or ride the train. it's such a fun park!

Ok so after the kids go to bed we would stay up every night watching movies, talking or playing games! These videos are probably really boring to you guys but I wanted to put them up for Justin and Linds. Have you ever played the game Cranium? the new one? It gets pretty hilarious if you ask me!!!
