not done.

yea. if you think i'm done, i'm not. what better place to narrate thoroughly what happened over the past 3 weeks? so just gimme some time, while i try to collect back the photos i didn't take. i mean, i did, just not with my own camera. haha sorry folks, for hogging yours. and to those back from all over the world, welcome home! i know we wreck havoc in liatbucks all the time. that's when you know you're home i guess. so wait up, more to come. "world summit" on wednesday. haha. or maybe.. gourmet disaster. tsk.

fuji apples on mount takao. check out the mastery of headshots, even with other people's cameras. woohoo!

change.

nothing has changed. except we have to fly home. in about.. less than 24 hours. we ate our favourite meals twice over. took more stupid photos, with disposable cameras no less and went disneysea. we took the rides twice too. will take more trains. and will have our last train ride tomorrow.

in other news, we still do the same things really. eat, sleep, and shop, and find places to sit and drink coffee. it's raining, and freezing, and we're lazing. it is a very very normal day, like we belong here. or anywhere else for that matter.

oh. we did learn new tricks. like stand, and sleep on the train. hehe.

ok bye!

hokkaido

my fingers are freezing and so i cannot type properly and i have 4 mins left to use the internet.
i am paying 100 yen for ten mins here.
but we love hokkaido.
we ate sashimi in noboribetsu -it was not life-changing but we can at least say we ate it in HOKKAIDO.
fish markets here are really clean.
fi wasn:t in tears, so that is saying something.
jenn and yen's friends can really shop.
bye.

lazy with words.

sunset at miyajima

himeji

osaka (what photos we have on this card at least)

and then we arrive in Tokyo..
and on Sunday, where else to go but

my favourites.. takuya & chou.

what we conquered in yokohama

and then we're back in tokyo.

ok. i'm really smashed from waiting for all the photos to load. the only reason i have for lasting this long, is this really hot, heath ledger looking guy sitting next to me. except he reeks of smoke, and well.. he has holes in his socks!

we may not need a map

tokyo is great.
it has been effectively draining us financially and sucking us into the full-blown consumerist culture on which it thrives on, but it is great.
today fi and i explored tokyo without once referring to the lonely planet. we still managed to find what we were looking for. i don;t even think we asked for directions.
and we met and talked to the most random people in tokyo today. we found the cheapest and yet delicious japanese food today.
all without a map.
and thus i conclude being map-less is rewarding, sometimes.

3 strikes. with inbetweens.

first, the ipod hung, and all the songs disappeared and then reappeared. second, the sd card can't be read by almost all pcs (how to solve?). and third, the camera's shutter is spoilt, so it can't capture colours when it's too bright and the image is not zoomed in to a certain degree.

so, lucky for us, we changed the sd card, so we didn't miss out on more photos getting locked in the other card, and man's hp. without delaying further, we'll just skip right on to when we visited Hiroshima and Miyajima yesterday. photos from Beppu, Hakata and Osaka will have to wait till i find a way to extract the photos (serious cry for HELP!! here).

streetcars (or trams) in Hiroshima.
from some angles, it sorta looks like HongKong.

A-Bomb Peace Memorial Site

spring is here!

okonomiyaki Hiroshima style. think.. the one at taka.

Miyajima at it's finest moment (for us). not my camera tho. note the white sketchy ones..

ok i'm maxed out. will upload Himeji photos later.
