Random Family Pics

I keep trying to do some photo shoots with Kinz...but so far it's her making a lot of crazy faces!

For Nate's birthday party this year we went to a hotel (only for the evening) and swam at the pool and had pizza and cake in the room. It was such a fun and easy party! We had 13 boys and they were all so good and easy!

Trying to get a shot of all 4 kiddoes before church.

Sweet little Brock- I can't believe he's 7 months old. He is so smiley, crawls around and stands at things (but doesn't pull himself up), still not loving solids but wants to nurse every 3 hours around the clock, ADORES his siblings, and chews on anything he can get his hands on. I'm having a hard time taking the "month" pictures now because he just grabs and chews on them.

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween this year- all of the kids were SO into trick-or-treating! We started off the night at a party with friends, loved a neighborhood FULL of families, and enjoyed perfect fall weather.

Pumpkin Carving is one of our favorite yearly traditions. The kids draw a face on their pumpkins and we do our best to carve it that way. Everyone (except Tanner) loves roasted pumpkin seeds afterwards!

For months Kennedy has known she wanted to be a "really mean witch" for Halloween- so here she is making her meanest face! :)

The cutest bat in the world!

All my boys! Love them!

The really mean witch! When I asked her what she wants to be next year, she said a "really mean cat!" I sense a theme here!

Happy Halloween!

Nate is 8!

I used to look at people with kids who were 8 and think "Wow- their kids are old!" I can't believe Nate is 8! He was SO excited for this birthday, and especially to be baptized. Nate did not miss a single day of reading the scriptures when he was 7 and finished the whole Book of Mormon right before his birthday. I am so proud of him and what a wonderful little boy he is.

Nana and Pop get all the boys a suit at 8, and Nate could NOT WAIT for his. He even got a tie to match Pop, which he LOVES.

Nana flew in for the baptism.

My big, sweet boy.

The kiddoes, minus Brock.

My Boys

I keep debating whether I am going to continue blogging or not, but since I still enjoy reading other peoples, I'll occasionally do it I guess! We've had a very busy fall with school starting (for all of these boys), sports, still getting settled in the house (I gave up trying to do it over the summer), and everyday life. I sure do love all these guys!

Nate and Tanner on the first day of school. Nate- 2nd Grade; Tanner- Kindergarten. I shed some serious tears sending these boys off for another year! They love school, and although I really worried about my attached little Tanner, he is doing great!

Rich about to leave for his first day of MBA School. He is really loving it so far, and we know it was the right decision for our family. We are especially happy we didn't have to move away for it!

Brock's 5 month picture. I love him. I adore him. I even dream about him while I sleep. He is perfection!

Rosemary Beach

We went to Rosemary Beach in August with all of the Bowman's and had a GREAT time! The cousins enjoyed riding bikes around, had a blast at the beach and pools, and mostly we loved just being together

Nate could boogie board all day!

Great close-up shot of her face- such a doll.

This boy loved playing in the sand and going to Sugar Shack!

Brock and Macey- 2 weeks apart in age. It's great that all my kids have cousins close in age to grow up with!

All the grand kids with Hannah and Papa.

Attempting nap time (unsuccessfully)

Brock was a champ on the trip and loved the water!

3 months old

Yes, time is flying by WAY too quickly with this little boy. He let out his first loud, belly laugh today in sacrament, which all the kids started to hoot and holler about! I love him (and all of his chins!)

Colorado Springs

The week school got out we took a trip to Colorado Springs. I was nervous about the 12 hour drive (especially with a 2 month old) but the kids were perfect in the car and we had the best time! I was amazed at how much there was to do there. We went to a Ghost Town museum, mined for gold, Rich and the boys went White Water Rafting, the Zoo, Santa's Workshop, Garden of the Gods, a huge nickel arcade, The Cave of the Winds, and just swimming and staying in a hotel is exciting for them! We loved the time together as a family and the kids ask to go back there almost daily. We LOVE Colorado- what a beautiful place!

Mining for Gold

Kennedy thrilled about feeding the giraffes

We have used this backpack a ton! However, Tanner is on the brink of being a little too old for it! :)

It was so nice to have Rich at a zoo with us to carry the kids while I would just push a stroller!

A beautiful view with my 4 wild monkeys!

One of their favorite rides at Santa's Workshop. The amusement park was PERFECT for our kids ages- and Kennedy has no fear of crazy rides!

Now she's feeding the deer- she is an animal lover!

Telling Santa what they want for Christmas- something fun to do in June!

The Cave of the Winds- this was probably my favorite thing we did there. It was very interesting and Nate especially loved it!

A beautiful stream just off the main road- I can't imagine something like this in Texas!

Stick Races- Tanner loves a competition of any kind!

This sweet boy was a champ on the trip! He just went with the flow of things and never minded being carted around from place to place. We were pretty impressed that we could have a fun family vacation with no mishaps as a family of 6!

A few more updates

I'm still trying to catch up!

Tanner graduated from preschool this year- I can't believe he'll be in kindergarten in August! He LOVED school this year and had 3 little buddies he was inseparable from! I'm not ready for this one to leave the nest 5 days a week though!

Kinz and her best buddy- she found this infant sun hat a few weeks ago and has to wear it everytime we go to the pool! She does look pretty adorable in it though!

My happy little guy- there aren't words for how much I love him! He makes me smile everytime I think about him, let alone look look at him. These were taken on his 2 month b-day.

He was 3 months old yesterday, so hopefully I'll have those pictures up soon!
