Hello.

I'll try to not wait 7 months before I post again.  Here's some pictures of a few things from the last 7 months.

Skirts over the head

Big girl turned 2 (and yelled at me for taking her picture)
At 2 she loves fruit snacks and cheese, the song "I Love To See The Temple", and watching Elmo.  She talks up a streak and can say whatever she wants.  We have to remind ourselves that she's only 2 sometimes.  She is still off the charts for height.  We love our INTENSE and DARLING girl!

Rich and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary... Complete with our wedding cake! (not the original :)

A Candy Corn Witch for Halloween. People thought she was a pilgrim.

Lots of long curly hair

I asked her to smile.  This is what I got.  Better than usual, actually.

We got to go to the Living Planet Aquarium for Rich's company Christmas party and Santa was there!

Not much to show for 7 months, but it's been a good time!

The Month of May…

This one is for you, Ker.  And thank you, Tara, for opening my eyes to Windows Live Writer. (I had it on my computer and didn’t even know it)
So, May…
I had a lovely Mother’s Day at home.

I smashed my finger in the car door.

Someone decided to try and eat Andelin at daycare. They were not successful.
Andelin bite marks
Andelin has been OBSESSED with “bahbuh” (paper) and has filled this notebook with loveliness.

Our strawberries are producing like crazy… they are sooo tasty!

Rich added some man space to the backyard.

And we stocked up on camping firewood…

Andelin spent some time with me chillin’ at the grocery store.  She did such a good job of keeping the chocolate safe.

She also visited Grandma at work and got some shades or “asses” (glasses) as she calls them… Sometimes you can hear the ‘L’, but only sometimes.

I finished up another year at school and am adjusting to being at home with Andelin full time.
Andelin is talking like CRAZY, and now refers to herself in the 3rd person for almost everything.  She can’t, however, say her name, so she calls herself Annie.
I am also trying to start teaching sewing classes at home (if you know of anyone who might be interested, let me know!)
And that is the month of May.

What we've been up to. Random stuff in pictures

Our house looks a lot like this lately:
and she never forgets to tell us how she feels about things (she really didn't want those noodles)
She has spent lots of time mastering climbing on chairs... and couches, and stairs, and tables, and counters :)
We went to a Bee's game... had a great time
Easter was wonderful. We (the primary) were in charge of the neighborhood egg hunt at the church. It was a huge success. And this is the Easter dress I made for Andelin. The tables at the breakfast.
We also got a fence!! YAY!
We're playing hard and working hard
And even tried a ponytail... didn't last long, but it sure was cute!
And yesterday, I chopped my hair off. Shorter than I expected, but summer ready! (no matter what I do, that picture won't load) I have less than a month left of school. Let the countdown begin. Life is good. p.s. loading pictures on this thing is such a chore! They were all supposed to be big, and some wouldn't even load. So frustrating!

Traditions

We are talking about traditions and I just asked my class what tradition the state of Utah has each year that other states don't and one of my kids raised their hand and said "Thanksgiving!"
Oh dear.

In other news... Andelin has started to say "nooo mommy, nooo mommy, nooo mommy" and "nooo, no". And while she says it she shakes her pointer finger. It's lovely (and hilarious). We're not sure she actually knows what she is saying (I hope she doesn't).

AND... because it's funny:

Rich is home with Andelin on Friday's and last week I sent him an "I'm cranky" text... cause I wanted to be home too... and this was what he sent me in response
Love this little nose picker :)
