its just one of these rarest days when we play together, two completely different teams fused together to dance, to sing, to play, to jump for God. like kaibin said, honestly, today's worship was really good. and it's not just about playing. it's like we were so connected. like we just plugged ourselves into God's USB drive.

all of us of different personalities, sometimes just completely immersed in our own worlds, completely unaware of whatever's going around us. this happens all so often in our personal lives, but never happens when we're placed together, on that stage.

the moment o wen cues us in for our song, the moment i start pushing those keys to deliver the melody, the moment kaibin gives a strum on his guitar. or when ben jumps in with a bang, or when shaun tickles us with his ridiculous messages to the kids. suddenly, it's like our 5 minds get connected together in the spirit. its like we can practically read each others' minds. we just flow as one, all plugged in to the same channel.

we have fun, we have our crazy moments, we laugh, we poke, we tease, we fight, we squabble. notice how i said "WE". we, are a TEAM. as cliche as this sounds, it's something that we can never take for granted, and we can never, ever, ever replace. it is with this team that i have spent my past 6 years with. it is this team that taught me the craziest stuff, done the most insane things together, had the most ridiculous, yet emotional conversations with. it is with this team that i have went through the most unexpected moments, overcoming so many obstacles and eventually emerging together as one team, one band, one potato family :)

in fact, it is in this team that i found my brothers. two are the fatter ones and the others..not so fat. :) but nevertheless, it's amazing how all four of you have meant so much to me. those times when shaun would message me for no reason and we would have funny conversations to entertain ourselves, those times when i would have to spend long hours with o wen on the bus, learning how to sleep :P those times when kaibin would get scoldings from me. but then again we share so much affection at the same time. ben, you're practically my big bro :) you're the one who can practically read my mind and tell when i'm feeling upset, calling me late at night to check if i'm alright, always reminding me "don't worry kiddo, we're all here for you." you guys are the BEST :) i really thank God for all four of you, for how much you have blessed me and brought joy to my heart. i'm glad to be the little sis :)

when we play, we play for God. it is for this only reason that we are how we are today. glancing at my sides once awhile during worship, when i see the kids lifting their hands, passionately crying out to God and worshipping along with us, my heart melts. and hearing our voices rise when the music ceases, my heart melts. its just knowing, yes God is pleased with us. he's pleased that we honour him with our talents and our skills, and our hearts are truely, purely worshipping him.

look how we've grown so much over these years :) i must say, i've definitely picked up much of o wen and shaun's suaning skills. influential, yes. dangerous, yes. loving it? DEFINITELY. and for this simple reason, i am happy to be me!

doing a whoosh just after our uniform inspection that we totally did not expect. it was the first time we screamed our lungs out and huddled tgt before we officially opened the camp. 3 months of meetings, phonecalls, proposals and tiring days boiled down to this two days. through these few months, i've truly grown to love this squad of mine!

vanessa, remember how we had to stay up till 2am to edit our 137 pg long proposal? and we even slept in the living room and had to wake up at 7am the next day for trng. haha :) i spent the most time doing camp stuff with you man! mtgs after mtgs, proposals after proposals xD

sherry, remember how we had to stare long at that equipment list and my treasury proposal trying to make sure everything fitted properly? and we even had to go to ntuc tgt to check the prices of everything one by one xD

abi, remember how we teamed up and begged ms ng for lots of things for camp? :) and and rushing to my house 2 days before camp to edit our proposal. hehehe! tiger beer? :P

zhiping, you are one crazy guy okay. i'll never forgive you for making me edit my proposals like 20 times..HAHAHA!

yufeng, chiahong and junsheng :) hahaha you guys really cheered me up alot during that long long long 16 hours of proposals xD hahaha all your crazy antics and gaying in the room! :D

haofeng & wanyu, my comm members :) i'll never forget that 16 hours of proposal doing when you two amazed me with your ability to sit so disciplined infront of the comp and put in so much effort for your proposals! hahahaha. and i must say, well done for field cooking and campfire :) you both did well :D

gemaine, haha you crazy girl that always go nuts with me fighting about camp :) you and yf always fighting..HAHAHA entertainment!

huishi, although you always seem like you don't do much but i rmbr how you always reminded me to be stricter with the cadets and always ranted to me about how scared you were about camp!

hong yu! you crazy guy that i always thought was all solemn and serious, until you suddenly went all nuts infront of me with ma'am. HAHAHA! it was really fun working with you, aside from wanting to keeel you sometimes cos of your STM. hah! btw you better thank me for not taking your chicken rice although i won the deal xD i think we had to sit through at least 20 mtgs up till the last week before camp man. everytime we finish our proposal, we would heave a sigh of relief, but have to come back to edit a few days later. HAHAHA~ and i rmbr you making me go to th canteen to measure the tables and even happily walked on it with our shoes on xD crazy ass. and all your dumb theories about how macs will heal you. && "do you feel like those cars are like an army waiting to charge at you?"!?!?!

our awesome bridge (that was totally not like how we planned it to be)! :) haha i'll nvr forget how much effort we took to plan and design this man! having to walk over tables in th canteen, measure part by parts, design and edit all the time. in the end we didn't even follow our design xD poor scouts and those left in school had to carry all these tables, tiptoe-ing arnd outside bunks and all. after all, it turned out well :)

i completely forgot wht we were discussing about man! must be smth about the shoe racks though xD haha really very funny working with scouts la aiyo. super joke one la! but alot of heart attacks also heh. love playing soccer with you guys though :) and crapping like mad hahaha! 辛苦你们了 :)

okay.. tha main focus is NOT kohyufeng xD it's our HUNDRED AND THIRTY SEVEN PAGES LONG PROPOSAL!! hahahaha :) all our tears and sweat and emotions thrown into that thick stack there :P

OHMYGOODNESS MY BELOVED CAMPFIRE EQUIPMENT HAHAHA. rmbr having to go all th way to block 18 market with hy and ma'am to get the kerosene, we actually wanted to TAKE BUS back to school xD obviously we failed..haha see them walk a few steps buay tahan alr lol! and scamming the uncle that it was water whn it was kerosene :P & we had to walk under the rain for half an hour to get sand >< emo. HAHAHA, firewood day was funny la.

me: eh go eat subway la i sick leh. only 1 more week to camp!!

cca was tiring. triage, like duhh of course it's tiring. guess the best part was when me and huishi and wanyu counted down "10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,all first aiders fall unconscious" xD and ya, getting splashed and hit by a bottle wasn't the most fun thing to happen. (thanks guanwen) zzz.

but yeah, cca ended, waited with za-bor for tht two dua pai ppl for almost 2 hours? around there. we always do funny stuff outside storerooms one man! :) from monopoly deal to almost getting spitted on by nick to talking bout NS with scouts to falling asleep and then FINALLY WE GET TO MOVE OFF. at like 7.43pm? buay tahan man we almost fainted from boredom and hunger lol.

-our meeting tht lasted 2 hours when it was supposed to end in 15 mins haha!

-staying up till 1am to chiong scouts proposal with hy and ma'am zzz.

-pillow taupoking hy during squad proposal marathon :D:D:D first revenge muahaha :P

-i deleted th entire lesson plan and got nagged at by th big boss who ended up doing it still :)

-lotsa other meetings to chiong proposals tht always end up with more changes tht ended up in more mtgs haha. (sorry to you two man xD)

-camp craft prep. omgosh. haha lugging kerosene all th way from th market, scammed a taxi driver, spent 3 WHOLE HOURS tying 2 gadgets. (yeah my square lashing nt bad eh ^^) wow collecting sand was the most insane. hahaha walk under the rain for 30 whole mins to dig sand and lug it up to school again :P

-FIREWOOD WOOTS~ hahaha some smart guy made me eat macs when i'm having sore throat. ya la ya la, 吃草la! heh :) almost getting lost in paya lebar, hy tells me the cars look like some army getting ready to charge at us. LOL! lugged firewood back to school, almost drove hy nuts with the kerosene :O haha first time i stayed in school soooo late cos th 3 of us spent too much time laughing and took too long to tie the models AGAIN. "millions of eyes.."

-OUR FINAL BRIEFING WHICH WE STARTED BY PLAYIN SOCCER. woots~ i'm nt tht bad eh^^ or maybe it's cos you guys don't dare touch me hahaha! me, hy, chng kiat, wenyi VS pinyi, dave, yuxuan and joven right? HAHAHA funny ttm :) didn't even wna have mtg in th end lol!

LOL. practically exactly wht i told you to say. and plc, i really seriously was very touched when you all got out of th den to help me stretcher the bricks all th way to NPS (worst experience with th stretcher EVER) haha! and moving tables, tying th linkway. moving firepit too. oh yes, PA SYSTEM. you guys rock man! i was about to die can xD really really, i think i would have gone mad without all of you. thanks so much for helping me and enduring throughmy boring briefings. hope th kfc and cip hours did make you all happy enough :)

it was a tough and scary but really fun experience working with scouts. LOL campcraft rocks! LOL :) thank you plc for helping me so much!:) i wna play soccer again soon man :D
