its been a long time since i last updated this blog. i've been busy with my assignments and exams, after which i was busy travelling, bringing my mom and sis ard. Went up to gold coast, sunshine coast, surfers paradise etc.

Finally saw kolas and kangaroos 2 weeks ago. I've not seen kolas or kangaroos since i came to Australia. Finally i saw them and i even fed the kangaroos. =) they are just so cute. kolas are like the cutest of them all. they will look at you for one sec and the next sec they will fall asleep. haha.

i'm now having my holidays. the next uni sem starts on the 25th of Feb.

today's the 14th which is valentine's day. i din realise it until today.

which also means my b'dae is coming up. 19th! =)

haha. sumarlin is flying over for my b'dae and most prob i'll organise a bbq for all my friends here. =)

Dolphin play bubble rings

I was totally amazed by the intelligence level displayed on these dolphins. On the other hand I was a little bit sad on where these intelligent beings are -- the captive environment. This somewhat peaceful yet depressing music on the background seems to fully express my mixed feelings. It strikes me that we all like dolphin -- live in somewhat constrained environment whether it is our choice or not. Suddenly it inspired me that we should learn from this dolphin to enjoy the live no matter where our circumstance is and to use our intelligence to the highest possible level it could be.

I feel like an addict. Tennis Addict.

I realised my tv is perpetually on Channel 7 all the time. And Channel 7 is the official broadcaster of the Australian Open.

So in essence the only thing i watch on tv is tennis.

I even went to google to find out who is Rod Laver, why is he such household name in Australia, and it turns out he is an Australian who was world number 1 for 7 consecutive years. No wonder its called the Rod Laver Arena. Nothing else could be a more fitting name for a grand slam arena in Australia than that.

I was checking out Ailee's new video link on youtube she sent to my email. Turns out she sung another song and after taking a listen to it, i love what i heard. =)

yup! I'm feeling happy and upbeat today! =)

I've been stressed this past few days i guess.

I took a more relaxed approach and told myself the reports and exams are managable and do-able, and yes, now they dun seem to weigh down so much. Its really important to keep yourself happy and smile! haha. yup, its true. =)

It works wonders just to keep your head up, smile, think about the positive outcomes and stuff that seemed so "large and unsurmountable" all become smaller and puny.

It works wonders to take breaks and coffee breaks are great. I went to the physio refractory for a cuppa coffee jus now and read the papers, really makes a great recharge. =) and also, going home taking a break by having a beer with tennis on tv is relaxing too. jus to chill and take your mind off work. =)

just being happy and positive does wonders! =)

Cooked porkchop for dinner today. Eggs. Mashed potato. Porkchop. Mushrooms. =)

The taste was nice cus i marinated the pork for one whole afternoon.

Marinated with Sesame oil. Salt. Pepper. Cracked Peppers. Soy sauce. Wine. =)

Did the laundry. Hang clothes. Cleaned up the kitchen. Refill the rice container. Throw rubbish. Thawed and marinated pork.

Hmm. Training to be a househusband. =(

Beside household chores and mundane stuff, I worked out today. Did weights training.

listened to music. sampling new songs. and i found another talented singer.

Merry Christmas! =)

Had a chirstmas dinner yesterday with friends over at my place. I cooked. =) Movie Marathon-ed.

Today.

Went to church for chirstmas service. It was great.

Went to Keiying and Steve's house for christmas lunch with the rest of the SLErs. =) Their place was nice and the food was great too. Chatted, laughed and talked to both Keiyeng's mom and dad, which her mom happened to be a singaporean too. and a cantonese too. haha. enjoyed the company of everyone there. conversation flowed through everyone. chatty, lame and yes, steve can be real lame. haha. queer sense of humor. lols. kinda suan-ed him now and den. lols. haha. friendly chap.

I enjoyed the food and company. Going over to another chirstmas dinner tonight. Dawn will be coming over to fetch us. =)

Also met Mike's bro at church today. He's married! manz. can't believe he looks so young! and he's married! he's 28. haha. i'm sometimes amazed at how ppls get married and how young they look or they are. Marriage is a far fetched thing manz. haha.

Send alot of sms-es back home to my friends and family tt i maxed out my pre-paid optus. haha. crazy. had to recharge it and continue firing off the christmas greetings. Call home to wish Merry Christmas late at night. lols. 12midnight singapore time to be exact. =)

i'm still feeling disappointed with myself.

i reallie wanted to do well for my ecology of disease exam. i did study. i did prepare for it. but just couldn't think of what i wanted to write during the paper. maybe i din study enough. i was aiming for a distinction or 6 for it. but now... i just cant help feeling disappointed...

i'm disappointed and sad knowing that i am not able to acheive the grade tt i want.
