Iris Fold

The Iris fold was the order of the week at Lots To Do Challenges, I made this card for it & was so hooked on the Iris fold that I made some others to make into cards & also a LO

4 cards for challenges

I made this birthday card with the sketch from Sketches! {by tamara}









At 2 Sketches 4 You, they had a bonus sketch by Ingrid & this is the idea I used for this baby girl card. The image is inside on the insert, with the window cut out of the front of the card







At MTTC they gave us a recipe of '1 ribbbon, 1 flower, 2 buttons and some glitter', this is what I came up with. I stamped the flowers to make the bg paper, put kindy glitz on the flowers, some butterfly buttons & a bit of ribbon. I finished it off with this cute brass butterfly.






& finally I made this card with the sketch at Mojo Monday I'm affraid my Mojo was spent by this card... but oh well my girls love it & are fighting over who is getting it to give to their friend.. might have to make a second one to stop the arguing haha





Best get back to making some more card & helping my daughter with her Olympics project.

Just a note!

Well this card covers a few challenges, I made it with sketch 15 from Friday Sketchers, with Caarvarks "music" theme in mind, then while I was blog surfing, I saw that at Rainbow Ladys , her theme is Music too.

I contemplated what I would use this cute little guy for, for ages & then it was just perfect for these challenges.

Hugs & kisses

I made this little mushroom on the scallop circle ages ago but it didn't suit the card I was making at the time, so I put it aside for another day, well I saw it sitting there today & just had to use it. At sketch Saturday they have a fun sketch happening, so I used that to make this card.

Butterfly card

at 4x4 Fridays they wanted us to create a 4×4 with a handmade background, I made this card for my sister, her fav colour is orange & she loves butterflies. I stamped butterflies on the plain paper & doodled with white gel pen around the border, the butterfly is an iron transfer & I used kindy glitz to sparkle it up a bit, not that you can see it really, but it's there :) I used a couple of buttons & some word ribbon to decorate.

at Weekend Taggers the theme is faux postage. So I made this tag, which I love btw!! It turned out so cute. I might have to give it to my niece when she goes on her travels.

A couple of challenges

I made this card with the sketch from friday sketchers, although I wasn't really that happy with it in the end...



Then I made this card using a stamp that I received in a swap & I used the sketch I had on my pad, but had forgotten to write which challenge it was for, it turns out it was aPenny Black Saturday sketch, so I appologise if it is not a PB stamp. But i really thought it looks cute

Christmas Train

At the BBTB site Regina set the challenge to use the Train from the New Arrivals Cricut Cartridge, I'm a bit late, I made it last week but was so busy, I've only just gotten the time to upload it, but anyway it was fun... my daughter & I sang christmas carols while I made it haha a bit crazy but we had fun :)

Watercolour painted rose

I was looking through a cards magazine & saw this picture of a stamp & I really liked it, but I didn't have it, so I thought I would try & replicate it with my watercolour pencils & my water brush.

Here is the image that was in the mag





& this is my watercolour brush (if you haven't seen one before & didn't know what I was talking about)



I was very happy with how it turned out, so I made a card with it.



I don't have the corner punch either so I just used my circle template & took off the edges.

Vintage - Baby

OK so I'm not sure how "Vintage" this is but at Arty Girlz Challenge Blog, they asked for a vintage creation. I made an ATC so its only small. I had these bronzed like baby embellishments, so I thought they were vintage... (well it sounded good in my head lol) & I cut a baby outfit with my Cricut in a washed out green colour,inked it & used white gel pen on the flower, then popped some lace behind it & there it is :)

(I put 2 photo's of it, I thought it could be seen better by putting pink behind it)

Celebrations - Funky Fairys

Celebrations are all the buzz at Funky Fairys Blog, I made this card that could be used for a wedding or engagement. It is also a shaker card, there is large glitter bits in the window.
