6 Weeks To Go!

Only 6 weeks from today until Makayla Jean Riegelmann is due to join us (Febuary 1st). We are eagerly anticipating her arrival but I also feel overwhelmed with what we still need to do before she is born. Levi is now walking quite well and is enjoying the new freedom that this brings. I also am thrilled with this new skill as he is getting harder and harder for me to carry with my quickly growing belly. This last weekend we had the Millers, some friends from California, come up to visit which was alot of fun. We played lots of games, started our Chirstmas shopping (yes I know it is last minute), and greatly enjoyed their company. Hint, hint to anyone else who wants to come visit. Our house is always open and we would love to have you.

Mike has also been very busy at work. The remodel at Riegelmann's Appliance will hopefully be done within the next few weeks and this will bring things a little bit back to normal, of course normal for us is about to change anyway. The store looks fantastic, which I have to give my incredible husband credit for. He has been working very hard and I am proud of what he is doing. Other than that we have been doing what this time of year is best for, enjoying our time as a family, and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!!

Cutting down our Christmas Tree

Today we cut down our Christmas tree out at the Oxbow Rim Tree Farm. This was Levi's first experience with tree cutting since last year we got our tree before he was born. It was a beautiful day outside, definitely cold but the sun was shining! We found a short but perfect looking Douglas fir which we will put on top of our coffee table out of a certain some body's reach.

One Year Old!!!

It has already been a year since this little bundle of joy came into our lives and we can hardly believe it. We thank God daily and feel very priveleged and blessed to be his parents. Here are some pictures from his frist birthday party. He had a blast, he ate atleast half of a piece of cake, and he was able to show off his new skill of walking. Thank you to everyone who was able to come and share this special day with us!

Halloween

As you can see, Levi was a monkey for Halloween. We had his cousins Brook and Casey over during the day to bake pumkpin cookies then we went to Gresham Townfair to trick or treat and finally we ended up at my parents house in Vancouver. We planned on seeing Grandma and Grandpa and coming home but Brook who is 4 years old wanted us to trick or treat with them so we went around the block and got lots of candy which Levi can't eat so I HAD TO eat it for him. All in all it was a fun day. Levi pulled off the monkey costume with ease!

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we took Levi on his first trip to the pumpkin patch at Liepold Farms. He got to ride in the wheelbarrow, pick out a pumpkin and sit on a stack of hay. It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and we had a great time. Here are some of the pictures that captured the memories.

Looking for a pumpkin is serious business.
"Dad, can I get this one?"
Thanks Dad!!!

Our trip to Hawaii September 11-18th

Well, though a bit behind the curve, we've jumped on the band wagon and created a blog. I thought we would start with our most recent trip to Hawaii. Levi loved the beach and we went in the pool every day. He played in the waves, tried to eat the sand and enjoyed every minute of it.
