September 2009
September was full of delights!
Tucker started 4 year old Kindergarten at a magical school called Willow Springs!
Excitedly showing off his backpack (which includes little Hitchy to keep him company)
Aunt Jamie came to visit and we went to Dozer Days at an active quarry. (Can you see baby Wiley??? He is still cooking!)
It is amazing just how big the tires are:
And how big a quarry is!
Granny and Popi Rice came to visit also and we went to Chicago to see our boys - the BOSTON RED SOX play the Chicago White Sox....our boys won of course!

What would a baseball game with Tucker be without cotton candy? If you are worried about his cotton candy consumption at this point, please realize he only gets it at baseball games!
We also went back to Lake Michigan and Tucker and Granny built this amazing fortress!
Tucker learned how to ride a bike without training wheels - Thanks Popi & Granny for the extra help :)
At the end of the month we went apple picking!
It was such fun!
Of course you have to taste test the apples after you pick them :)

August 2009
August found us playing more outside, getting ready for the start of 4K and Tucker and Korinne were able to take a trip back to Idaho to see friends and family!
1st Trip to Milwaukee Zoo
Touring the Sussex Firehouse
Swinging with Riley & Nolan and Grammy Yoder in Twin Falls
Tucker and Riley - those two are peas in a pod! Made for each other much as their moms were made to be best friends!
Papa Hague with Gracie and Tucker
Cousins Carter, Jackson and Tucker - holy cow can Jackson jump on a trampoline
Tucker & Gracie's unique method of transportation!
Papa and 4 granchildren :) Carter, Jackson, Gracie and Tucker at the Idaho Falls Chukars game

July 2009
We spent July exploring the greater Milwaukee area and finding lots of fun parks and places to play.
Tucker with his sparklers on the 4th of July!
Menomonee Lake (which is an old quarry) has a great beach with play area and life guards
And of course a place for Hitch to brush up on his retrieving skills
A spray park
Playing in the pool in our yard
We also went back to Lake Michigan for a day of play!
Tucker making sand angels.
Watch out, the water is cold!
And what would summer be without a water fight???
Watch out Mom! Just because you have the camera doesn't make you exempt from being squirted!
Tucker participating in the age old ritual of "getting a drink from the hose"

June of 2009 was a month of new beginnings and sadly traumatic endings as well. On June 11, 2009 Korinne's brother Rob tragically and very unexpectedly passed away. Our loves were shaken to the core. Rob is an ever present fond memory and our lives are forever richer for having had him in them. We love you, we miss you, forever my brother, forever my friend!
June 2009 also took us from Laramie, Wyoming to Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Tucker snacking on the road!
Once in Wisconsin we began to explore the area with Popi Rice who so kindly spent 3 weeks with us after helping us move :) And of course Tucker and Popi played as only boys can play!
Checking out Lake Michigan
Our 1st Brewers game

Tucker of course having his cotton candy half way through the 4th inning!

May 2009
May 2009 was a month we had all been looking forward to for 4 long years! You guessed it! May 9, 2009 Dax graduated from the University of Wyoming with his Pharmacy Doctorate. Uncountable hours of studying, lots of classes, extracurricular responsibilities and a fourth year away from family had all led to this great reward! Congratulations Dax we are so very proud of you!

You are definitely a man for our little man to look up to!
Tucker & I are so proud of your accomplishments and look forward to the future!
Granny & Popi are filled with excitement and pride to see their son achieve this dream!
We all love you so very, very much!
